Looking at a earthquake amp. Says its a 1000d Is it any good and would it run my p3 dual 4ohm. Amp is 50.00

first things first, should i order directly from the company or get the subs from a store. So what ive been looking at Ascendant Audio-Mayhem 18, Smd 18, and havoc 18 Fi-BTL 18 Rockford fosgate- Power 12 or 15, punch15 Then for amps i am looking at Soundstream-XXX, Refernce Rockford fosgate-Prime500-1, Punch400-1 I also dunno what are good amps, i alrdy have 10' pioneer subs in the car, and i have a 2005 toyota 4 runner Thanks Sam

you guys may disagree with the drivers i chose, but this is what im going with. im selling the boston pro60s, and my jbl 6x9s in the rear, so ill only be adding maybe 70 bux to switch out to this setup, which is now going to be active as well. Front Stage: 2x B&C 6PEV13's Rear Stage: 2x Selenium 6W4P's (OR 2x Selenium 8PW3-SLF's) not sure yet, if the 8s will fit, i might run those. if not, ill do the 6.5s amp for the front and rear Mids: RF Punch P550.2 (ch1 will be the front and rear Left mids, and channel 2 will be front and rear right mids) same with the tweets, except a RF Punch P200.2 amps are like 240 shipped on ebay new for both, not bad. i need tweets though.…

Now i need to know what to do with it... Or rather what box size/tuning would be good. As well as how much power it can handle daily. I have about 6ft^3 (before any deductions) total to work with and about 4Kw RMS as well...

Like I said, I change my plans and I want to know if a 2.5cuft ported box tuned to 35hz is a good box for a single 12' dcon. Too big, or ok box? Tuned too high? I'm going to send it 400wrms.

Can anyone tell me what other subs have the same basket as Assassin's before the FI buildhouse thingy happened? It's about 1 year old I guess maybe a little more. The ultimate question would be what beefier 10 can I put in it's place without it getting any wider at the magnets? I've got a center console box in my truck and the width is the limiting factor not the depth. I'm looking for LSQ approx 1 cube sealed. Magnets have to be less than 6.5" in diameter.

built the box yesterday, didnt carpet the sides because I ran out of spray adhesive. I did all the work, played with the gain and xover on the amp for a while listening to a bunch of different music, and I think what happened was a combo of me going slightly deaf, the amp getting hot and starting to lose effieciency, maybe voltage dropping, and the sub not being broken in yet, because I thought it was pretty good but when I put the seat back up it didnt seem loud at all. so I basically went inside a little depressed that it wasnt an improvement over the old setup. met my girl when she got off work (its her car) and I told her that I wasnt satisfied and Id buy her another …

i remember a while abck david at re was like get a multi meter and it eh ohmage is like 100 or like 1000 that meant it was a burnt VC, thing is my SExxx says 0.. so idk i hope it mean it was a loose connection.

im looking at getting either two Sundown Nightshade, two IA DP or two DC Level 4XL all 12in. im unsure of which two to choose. ive read good things about all, but i cant test or hear any of them since no one around here has them. i was wondering which would you choose? i wont compete i just want a loud daily driver. i preorded a Sundown SAZ-3500D to power them. any input would be great thanks guys.

Anyone know how much an 18" fi ssd weighs?.. I was thinking about getting 2 15" D2's, with the sale and all, and just wondering if anyone knows if I'd be able to fit them in a 03 mustang without taking out the rear seats or MAJOR madding to the trunkspace (any cutting of metal). I was thinking of taking the floor off the trunk and moving the spare, and using that space to house them, anyone know for sure if this would work? I was considering just getting 12's, but I like the "wow" factor of the 15's . Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I've become interested in getting a pair of these but couldn't find the power handling of these anywhere. Does anyone know what their RMS power is? Thanks

hey guys I already have some Focal 5x7 CA1 door speakers that have the tweeter built in but I wanna get some seperate 1" tweeters and a crossover do you guys have any recommendations. Im not sure really about any brand as far as just tweeters go which is why im asking. i'd like to keep it around 100.00 if possible.... Thanks guys.

What would be a nice 8" sub to replace a blown stock sub. Not very high wattage.

Hello fellas, I just picked up a pair of Claw Magnums from Hoss. I've wanted to try these for a long time, and finally came across a pair that I could afford. My only question now is, what size of box is recommended for a pair of these subs? Also, if somebody could point me in the direction of about how much port area is optimal, that would be great also. Would you recommend running RL-p's as spl subs?? I have two 15"s in a ported box W/ 2.5cu., and 900w rms each. The box is ported to 32hz. I was told that would be best for an LSQ set up. I was just wondering about going from LSQ to SPL.

I've had 2 15 inch solo barics for the past 2 years(with a 1500D on each sub) and im use to songs hittin a certain way. I wanted something different so i purchased the nightshade 18(3000D pushing it) and the songs that hit hard in my 15z dont hit as hard in the 18. why is this and what songs should i play to get the full effect of this beast in my hatch??????

im working on a stealth install. so hewres my situation, the way im doing my doors is im taking off the carpet, mounting the speaker and puting the capret back over. it was designed for midbass aplicatuions becuase carpet shouldnt harm like 80-300 herts to much but hows it going to effect the upper midrange of the 302's if i buy them>?

I'm looking at the RE SR subs for 600 watts and I may run a pair of the 10s. However I saw that the 12s only require 1.5 subs per sub tuned to 35 hz. Does that sound right? If it is correct what type of sound would that produce? Would it have good SQ and get loud?

I purchased an Audiocontrol Epic 160 in Dec. of 2003 to test the original D2 12's in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was incredible being able to put in heart pounding bass into what normally wouldn't have any bass. Anyway I had big SPL plans for the Jeep until the ride was officially not mine anymore. Long story short I purchased a lot of great items to help increase your SPL and now I have changed my focus for my new car, '99 Infinity G20T, to LSQ. So I have an Epic 160 used for approx. 3 weeks and a brand new 0 Awg amp kit fully complete but opened because I wanted to feel the difference between my little 4 Awg to the Beasty 0.
