Subwoofers / Speakers

I need clarification on something. I am doing a weird wiring scheme for some tweeters, well I think I might. I have 10 tweeters that have a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. I need confirmation on the load if wired in this fashion. 3-2-2-3 By my calculation this would give me a final load of 3.75, correct? Each set is wired in series, then all 4 sets are wired in paralell.

Well I was out pricing enclosures today & dude told me around $300 for a fiberglass enclosure. Anyone know of a better deal or am I stuck paying as much for the box as I did for the sub...err, almost as much.

ok im new here.... i have a 2006 nissan maxima first i was lookin at 2 13w7s...then 2 kicker 15 L7s but now i have been put on 2 15" SI Mags... i juss dont no very much about these subs if i was to buy these where could i install them? at any regular audio shop? because i no im not goin to do it myself. thanks i appreciate it!

ok maybe not so spyish, but what the heck, I had a camera and i was bored. I took an AVI of the 54 with a strobe light, its probably one of the coolest things to look at if you are into high excursion design. Its literally like watching high excursion in very slow motion. I have to edit the video, but I'll post it soon. TC3k next to an LMS-54 proto. (the 3k is 46 pounds and thats the small one) The cursed RE 4" vc desytoryer we tried to recone twice, this one is waiting a third top assemlby tomorrow. ive got a chance to pick up a blown 12'' AA avalanche, is it possible to put any sort of SI soft parts on the sub? i dont really remember is the ava is a 2.5 or a 3'' VC. thankies much.

I hear that TC produces subs for Eclipse. Assuming this is true, what similarities do TC and SS subs have with eclipse? The motors look somewhat similar. Just curious, thats all. My brother has installed a few eclipse and noticed the similar packaging that my rlp subs were shipped in. Does TC produce any other brand names? btw http://www.tcsounds.com/ is not working

ok so im looking at getting a bigger 4channel for my my cdt comps and my 6x9's and my question was how much do you guys think i should put on the cdt's??? I have the cdt ef-61fg's by the way so if anyone could help me out on this it would be great cause i only have a small older alpine 40x4 on everything right now and i know my cdt comps can get alot louder and more clean.O and another thing is that i wanna have ALL speakers amped in my car cause i dont wanna bridge the amp or run a 2channel to the fronts and run the 6x9's on HU power so thats why im lookin for the bigger 4channel. i searched and i saw posts that say 1/2 volume for 30 min ppl say 2 days 1 1/2 hour each day 15 out of 35 volume. no break in (that is BS i think). witch is best? i have a hifonics running 1000@1Ohm. i was going to do volume 15 out of 35 on my alpine w200 for 2 hours listing to randome stuff. maybe even let the car run and watch some tv for a few hours. should i listen to very bass intence music at low volume? like visionsofthefuture.mp3, ResponseTest.mp3, SubBassEffects.mp3, BassCheck.mp3, ect. all from http://realmofexcursion.com/

I am working on an SQ-oriented install and am trying to figure out where I want everything laid out. Anyway, is there any major drawback someone can come up with if I were to fire the subs up (sealed box)? I know the only true way to find out is to try it and see, but the box dimensions will be different depending on the direction (an I don't have time to build 2-4 boxes and find out). Any quick tips or ideas are greatly appreciated. ML

right now i have a mag 15 in 3.7@27 hz box off 1000 rms and i'm getting a kicker zx1500.1.I was wondering if 2 15's getting 1500 rms in a sealed box(2.5 per driver) will be a lot louder? noticeably? just thinking about a new set up since i have a kicker zx1500.1 coming.But if i won't notice much difference i may just sell the kicker amp.

Crossfire vr 1000d???? Heard good things about it. Do not have any dealers near me to check one out. What do you guys think of this amp. I also have heard some good things about the nine 1. How are these two amps. I am looking for something to power either a tc2000, rl-p or oz matrix elite single sealed 15. I have heard these where both all around solid amps. Hey guys I used the search feature to do as much research as I could. I would again like to ask the opinion of the masses on a particular subject My question is I was going to purchase the cdt 6.5 inch ef61 pro euro frame components with the upgraded tw 25 tweeter. The rms on these is 140 watts. Just what my amp makes x2 at 14 volts. The problem I have is I was going to spring for the cdt hd 62 high def components but the rms on these is 180 watts. Should I stick with the ef61 and power them perfectly or spring for the high defs and toss a little less power to a better set up? I want good sq but also the ability to get loud. Not anything crazy but loud. I will ask about the woofers as this is the woofer forum. I planned to do a single 15. It is between the tc2000 and Oz audio matrix elite and rlp 15. First off what are your opinions on these three woofers? I cannot find much on the Oz on the forums. why theres no 15'' sub just asking

We're selling the heck out of these long-awaited amps. But we haven't had a chance to actually hear any of the 2-channel amps on any subs yet. We stock the 200.2, 400.2, and 600.2. The amps have been very, very well received. But all our sales so far have been over-the-counter sales. Haven't actually had a chance to see how they compare to say the XTA series from SoundStream that we had prior to the release of the AutoSound amplifiers. Any dissappointments or surprises with the ASA amps? Any expected availability date on the ASA 1000.1 and 2000.1 amps?

Ok heres the deal. Im getting ready to sell my Assassins to go with a different setup. Im especially intereseted in the MJ18. After playing around with different box sizes, I have calculated that the biggest box I can get out of the Maxima is about 8.5 cubes NET while sitll being able to take it in and out of the car. What would you guys do with this space? I have a few otions. I can port two Mj's with about 4 cubes each after all displacement. two 4 inch ports would be used. Will this choke the 18s too much? I can seal each MJ in 4 cubes or less. Or I can do a single ported MJ in about 8 cubes. With a dual setup (4 ohm version)Each MJ will recieve 500 watts. With only …
