About a small XBL^2 Full Range driver, capable of replacing a tweeter, and playing down to about 300Hz? Sound like something you fella's would be interested in? I know this has been long anticipated for some, including myself... I was thinking one day... Why wait? I have been contemplating having something like I described built.. And starting a little business of my own. It would be small scale, but if I could garner some success from it who knows. Their might not even be room for someone else out there! But I would like to know the interest level before I start throwing all my money into it. So let me hear it! Yes! No! You are an idiot! Tell me your thoughts Jord…

I haven't been on this forum in a while so just thought I would drop in. Can't wait to see the new BM series drivers come out. Also, I have been working on my install off and on lately, added new HO alt, Yellow Top, Big 3, etc.... and will be soon building a new home for my Mag 15 and amp rack. I am tempted to go ported but don't want to lose the sq that I love so much about the sealed mag. However, I am still being impressed more and more as I have had alot more time to play with my mag lately and this sucker still impresses the hell out of me and anyone that listens to it. Again great job SI!!!!! sure wish I could fit 2 15s.

7" dayton vs. 6.5" AA poly midbass i was reading some posts and it seems like many people have tried the AA and i was wondering if anybody has used both and could give a comparison. i am looking for something to run as dedicated midbass in a 3way frontstage. both would be run off a PPI DCX600.4 so 75watts to each side. the will be used with 4" focal polyglass comps.

As I mentioned a few threads down, my sub sounded like it was blown or there was a really bad air leak. One of the coils comes in at 2 ohms and the other is at 17-32 ohms. Look at the pics below of this coil, has this ever happened before????? The lead that was intersown came loose and where it was sown in, there is now a rip This is me pushing down to try to show just how bad the rip is. What exactly happened here?

Well i bit the bullet and im buying used CD player. Eclipse 3400. while insalling my IS2080 i found my surounds on my RE mids where comming unglued and the coens where dry rotting. IE poor build quality though they sound great. one of the cones has actually begun to split with the extra power. So im going to have to get new mids, im planning on eventualyl going active so i'd like a good pair of 6.5's that have strong midbass, around 100w RMS or less, work well IB or sealed, and would integrate with me RE tweeters and overs for the time being.

so a friend of mine is looking to add a sub to his car, but he cares a great deal about weight (yes, contradictory, but to each his own). He's looking for a 10" driver that weighs less than 20lbs, preferably around 15lbs, that has awesome SQ and lets you slightly feel the bass. So far, he's looking at the eD 11Kv.2, Adire Shiva (having a hard to time to find this thing online), and the Seas Lotus SW250 (isn't sure if he wants to spend this much money, unless its 200% worth it). any other suggestions? Thanks in advance

For everyone buying our new etreme subs, we had 3M develope a new adhesive that will handle 28 degrees more temp than the normal adhesives used by other companies. We actually spend almost $400.00 dollars a gallon for this glue. In the gift product box there is a break in period warning that states 40 hours. This is correct for the moving parts to relax but the recomended break in should be initally done in the first hour of the install. Play the syetem at 2/3 volume for 30 minutes to heat coil. shut system off and allow to cool completely. At this point the adhesive has been activated and set. the moving parts will still take some time but you can hammer the subs once th…

Ok so i've been on the search for a tweet, i bought the morel but PE killed my order so i'm debating buying them from madisound. my quesitons? how do these tweets perform? anyone have direct experience with them? http://www.madisound.com/pdf/mdt%2029.pdf The waterfall plot looks pretty great to me but i'm sure what time is too long, i see the broad hump at 1-2k makes me think they shouldnt' be played that low, but that also shouldn't be a problem. The only thing is i heard that textile domes weren't supposed to have transients that were that good, so maybe the scale is throwing me off? Shoot me any opinions before i go ahead and re-order these bastards

I can't seem to make up my mind what I want to run in the Supra for a substage... 12" or 15"?? Box will be max. ~3ft^3 regardless (fiberglassed spare tire well)...Power supplied from a PG Tantrum 1200.1... The install won't be visible at all, so I'm not concerned about anyone "seeing" it. I guess it all comes down to a question of sensibility? Do I really need a 15" powered by 1500W in a hatchback? Or will a 12" w/ 1500W suffice? LOL I've never owned a hatchback before, nor have I had much experience with audio systems in them...you guys will have to help me out... Front stage, you say? Well...I already have that one figured out...

I thought cabin gain was supposed to make a sub sound louder and play lower, yet with my doors closed and windows up, it is signifigantly quieter than with a window down or door open, especially in the low bass region. FYI, I have an audioque LW8 (awesome sub btw) in a 1 cu. ft. enclosure with 16in^2 of port tuned to 35hz behind the driver's seat of a 1998 ford ranger extended cab facing backwards. It seems like there is some sort of cancellation going on; in my HT I could help this by adjusting the phase, but i've never heard of a phase adjustment on a car amp. Anything to fix this, or am I doomed to rolling the windows down when I want to bump? I've already tried rev…

will we EVER see an LMT driver which is optimized for home theater use? The Tumult 15d2 should have some competition in this area. That said, i would just love to get my hands on an rls-15 and put it in a sealed box with a LT circuit or Bassis unit. If we could only get some good T/S...

Hello Everyone I have a 2.2 cu ft sealed enclosure (after displacement) and I was wondering if the new Mag would sound good in it. I have a PRSX720 amp that gives out 800 watts RMS @ 4 ohms thanks

Well I finally got to install my Stereo Integrity Mag 15. And I know everyone on here knows I use them and used the 12 alot and love it but man, I love the 15 even more!!!It is still a very accurate sub and has lots of output, lots of output. I barely have it turned up maybe 1/4 gain on the amp and 1/4 gain on the Coustic XM6 and no bass enhance or my EQ lowest setting is 63hz at +1db. Its quite amazing and fun to play with but the best thing about this, is this is probably the easiest sub I've used to blend into the rest of the soundstage! I wouldn't never have thought a 15 was easy to blend but this is. Its much easier to blend than the 12 i used. The 12 is awesome but …

Has anyone had experience with these? I have read that the scs line is the ones to get if any but was wondering what people have to say about the components in general. Will be most likely looking at the 5.25" comp set possibly a 6.5" set.
