Found another familiar basket, and for 250$, damn.

I currently have a ssd15 in about a 4cuft box with an 8" sonotube port... the port i believe is causing unloading problems because it is so long it is basicaly resting o. The motor of the sub. So would one 6" pvc port be big enough? Ill flare the ends either making fiberglass flares or heating the pvc up annd forming it around a dog water bowl. But please... im getting slightly aggrivated...

Im looking for two 10" Incriminator Audio 187's. If anyone has any leads to them please let me know. As we all know the Lethal Injection series took them over so they are not made anymore. Thanks

ok i know ive bugged a few of you guys enough but before i go and drop 2000+ on a new system i want to make sure im getting something that will most defiantly be the loudest chit on the block. I am leaning way towards 2 18" btls fully loaded running off a RF t40001bd. what would you guys go with that will still maintain a decent sq and pick up lows fully without distortions.

whats the difference between the lvl4 coil and a lvl 5 coil on a dc lvl 4 18? im going to be getting 2 lvl 4 18's and a sundown saz 3000d

I got a question for you guys that have heard walled subs. I got two IA DP 21s now in my truck where my back seat was facing up ports up. Sounds real good except my poor back wall flexing. I never seen a walled vehicle in person is that the way to go? If they sound good I'd be down to do it over?

I am looking to build a DIY 6.5 component set to set up in my car after I deaden the doors. I have a HPF option on the JVC HU at 55hz, 85hz, and 125hz, then my alpine amp has a HP/LP filter from 50-400hz.

Hi, is there any difference to building a box with one side being plexi glass? would it change tuning? Is there a special type of glass i need to use? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Right now I have 2 RF T110D4's in sealed box fiberglassed to floor under back seat. I want to up grade to get it a little louder and sound better. The box now is about 1.9cuft I think. I will tear this out of course for new box. Is there anyway to jack up the seat brackets a couple of inches to allow more volume to the box? And still make it look good, and functional. I've always wanted 12's but was told they wouldn't fit. Is there any way I can get better option's with leaving the seat back there? My amp right now is a RF T10001 power series. I am running a 12 inch SSD sub sealed in a 1 cubic foot box. I was wondering what any of you fill your sealed boxes with? I remember reading about polyfil and stuffing and am just curious on what this does and how it effects the sound.

What do you guys think would be louder(To the ear)? A 12" Havoc 1.7^3 tuned to 33hz Ported or A 15" Havoc 1.7^3(or more) Sealed? Each with 1000 Watts RMS.

My friend is looking for a new set of 6.5" mids. He is restricted to 2 3/8" mounting depth. Any suggestions for mids or component sets with this restriction? Price is pretty much no object (within reason).

I will be using one of these subs as a temporary sub setup till I get my electrical right, money right and subwoofer choices down to run my Sundown SAZ-2000D @ 1ohm. I have a 2003 Saturn Ion, stock alternator and stock battery so far and just took out my 3-12" Kicker CVX's in 5.9ft^3 @ 25.94Hz. As you can tell I love the lows (my priority in any system I have), I listen to: a lot of chopped and screwed music plus r&b, rap and old school. I will be building a new enclosure anywhere from 3-3.75ft^3 for the Kicker CVX 15" and 3.25ft^3 for the Sundown Z15. Hey everybody! I was just is there a diferrence in power handling between a vented enclosure and a sealed enclosure. I just purchased a DC Audio Level 3 15 with the Level 4 coil option, dual 1 ohm. I'm running a Hifonics HFI 1500d @ 2 ohms 1000rms. I was going to use a 2.25^3 ft. enclosure in a Nissan Altima or could I get away with running that much power in a vented enclosure on the sub? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I got the CDT's 62 comps and one of the woofers has some tinsel lead slap. I was going to put some small feltish sort of pads on there to prevent this. Do you think it would affect the woofer to the point where it would change the drivers ability to to play?

I ask because I had messed a little with the older SPL's and the Mules, I have not heard the SPLX, also I am not sure where in their line up it is placed and if it was designed before or after the power acoustic buy out or if was developed by the remaining old SoundStream guys ? here is a picture of it: B)
