As I got my mag from when the new batch just came out and my sub is logoless (No it was not stolen, Nick already knows I have it) what do the new mags with a logo look like? I went to the sticker shop and got a logo made for mine saying SI MAG but I want to see the official thing?

what do you all think? i am building a seald box for a pair of mags. can i tune a sealed box? if so to what hz? also should i go with a bit of a larger box to accommidate the two drivers, instead of the recomended size? my amp for a pair of magnum d2's? tarantula 1600w mtx 1500w rocford fosgate 1500w any other suggestions on what amp i should get

OK, well I'm looking to buy a SI Magnum 12, and I have a problem picking an amp. I have Directed 1500D that does around 1100 watts at 1 ohm, but I was looking at the Crossfire VR600D that does 600 watts at 1 ohm. I'm looking at putting the sub in around 1.75 cubes at 30hz. Which amp should I use and why? And any recommendations on the box size and tuning?

Hello guys, I have a 2003 Chevy S10 Xtreme ext. cab and need help,advice suggestion's on my build. I am doing two FI SP4 V.1 15"s on two 3500 watt amp's. I have upgraded all my electrical and sound deaneded the whole truck already. I"m not going to compete I just want a super loud daily that get's real low and loud. Also,not wanting to wall it. I have a problem with the box size,port size ,tunning,and what would sound loudest subs and port up,forward or vise versa. Any help is greatly appreciated.Also if anyone has pics of there builds on trucks like this i;d love to see them.

Well I am currently laid off work so I told my wife I would add some bump to her ride. Seemed easy enough at the time. Then I started shopping around, and now I am losing my mind. I have looked at so many subs I think my brain is going to explode. I'm just wondering where to start. I would like to run 2 12's ported if possible, if not Ill drop down to 10's. Rough dimensions are 32Wx15Hx?. I can probably go wider, but just a starting point. I have had an old SX laying around for a couple years and finally sold it (with box and amp) to my brother for $200. He was getting it installed today and the guy installing it said one of the VC was reading 0 ohm. I havent been involved with car audio for probably 10years and forgot what little I used to know. Can I fix this or is it now a paperweight? Maybe I am hanging onto nostalgia, but IIRC Resonant Engineering was respected for quality and value before the buyout by US Amps when prices shot up. welll i just ordered my 4 channel and i was planing on running the sundown pro audio mids 8's in my build coming up and i was wondering on what do you think of the nice tweeter that do pretty well with the pro audio mid by sundown??? i was looking at the hertz H28 or maybe the ht25 since they are slightly smaller? or also the audio que pro super tweeter and the cresendo tweeter as well my budget is some what limitless since im not doing the build till like early spring but i dont wanna spend thousands on the pair of tweeters lol any help will me be nice and i know it will be difficult since people have preferences some one might say its to bright while other say it isnt …

Which glue is better to use on recones, the CA glue that comes with some kits, or 15 minute epoxy. Apparently FI doesnt send ca glue with a recone kit, they told me to use 15 minute epoxy. Thanks

i have 2 rockford he2 10s i have a banpass box and a rockford ported box whih should i use and i have a jl 500/1 will that amp power these subs and if so how should i wire the subs to get max performance

Going to run Kicker subs the 6.5 and 6x9 Im not sure to go with ? The two that I am looking at is the Kicker K693 (6x9) and the K65 (6.5) and the other is the Alpine SPR-694A (6x9) and SPR 174 (6.5) and they will be run off a amp.

Hey guys, I'm new to the site. I am about to build a new box for my Fi BTL 15'' and I was wondering what aero ports are? I know this may sound stupid but basically what I want to know is if they can be used instead of a slot port in a ported enclosure that will be used daily for music? Can you still pick a tuning frequency? I was looking to tune at 32hz with a box volume of 4.5 cubes. And lastly, is there a benefit to them over a slot port design? Thanks!

Im running a 2500 watt @ 1 ohm amp into 2 SSA icon 12"s rated at 1250 watts rms each. what gauge wire should i use to run from the amps single output into the woofer box, then to the speakers from inside the box?

I am looking at doing a blowthrough in my truck (yeah I know...its going to be expensive and a lot of work.) I'm not sure on the subs I want to run yet though. I'm looking at either 2 BTL's or 2 RD audio Alpha V.2. The sizes I'm looking at are either 18s or 15s. I want it to be loud at low hertz but I also want it to HIT hard and not just be loud with no punch to the bass. I have 4 Crossfire VR-1000D amps (putting out probably right at 4000 watts but will be more with the Big 3 and more batterys). which would fit what i'm looking for better?

I currently have a 2005 single cab Dodge Ram 1500. I recently ordered a Sundown Audio SA-8 D4 v.1. I have a 1k Hifonics Mono Amp i was hoping to push this sub with. Im having issues getting a box design. I built my own and friends boxes but only merely guessing needed airspace and very unfamiliar with tuning. I under stand its got to do with the driver, box volume and port length and size but beyond that im a noob. From reading around I've seen that these subs need about .5-.75 cubs of box at about 30 to 40hz? My first box attempt was around .6cubs but the port was about 1"x8" and only 27" long which im almost positive is incorrect because the sub will not even do any not…

I currently have an older 12 alpine type r 2nd gen. Does anybody think going to a soundqubed hds312 would be an upgrade as a daily driver sub or would it just be wasted money? There is also no mention of the hds312 box recommendation, and I am wondering if it would be ok in a 1.5 cube sealed OR 2 cube ported. I would be running it off of hifonics brz1200.1d at 2 ohms for 900 rms but highly doubt it since stock voltage isn't at 14.4v, so maybe closer to 700?

what are good IB subs other than the orions??
