I want these: http://cdtstore.com/cl_series/cl60.htm Do I have to buy 2 sets? I'm a little confused as to how to purchase this. If I choose quantity of 1, does that mean I just get 1 6.5, tweeter and xover? So would I have to choose a quantity of 2?

I need to bring my brahma back from the dead, its been sitting in my garage for over 3 years now (adire audio is no more) and i finally have the motivation to fix it. Where can i find a kit to re-cone and will the replacment effect the xbl2 technology or is that built into the sub itself. Id also need new tincle lead brakets (the things the leads are slolderd too marked + - ) a nice torque twist set would be nice. idk help me out ppl

i have power acoustik ovn1-4000d amp, 2200watt at 1ohm should i run the mayhem 12s or are any of the other subs capable of handling the amp

I have an 01 dodge ram extended cab and I am debating on wether I should wall it with 2 18 BTL's or do a 4th order blowthrough. im leaning more towards the blowthrough for the comfort level but im afraid to cut!!! plus i have heard a few 4th order blowthroughs but none in a cabin space as big as mine (only in minis). Well, one of the coils on my mag are blown. Shortly after putting my sub from ported to sealed, I hear danggg danngg when the bass hit hard and I tested both coils...one reads 2 ohms, the other reads anywhere from 14-22 ohms. How much does it cost to get this fixed ? Ive had it for 2 years now, I bought it when the new mags were comin out and they were logoless (no it wasnt stolen, I have receipts from paypal where I sent Nick the $$). Can anyone help? Thanks

well I got a new job doing 12V at a local shop, Nick you know it, Freemans at the lake, so I am going to use that to get my install finished. I had a pretty cool idea for a trunk. Here's a side view of what I was thinking. It was done using Paint so its kinda crap, but this is a general side cutout of the design. The woofer will be mounted inverted towards the rear of the trunk and angled slightly (40 degrees or less) and the two MOnitor MK I 2.70 will be mounted towards the front of the enclosure flush with it. As the topic says I just got my first SD12 and had 2 questions First: rms is 500 watts is that total or per coil? Second: do I have to break the sub in or just fire it up and go to town? Thx for the input guys

now i've never built a box or system with inverted mounted subs, what does this do? does it affect anything other then theres less displacement for the box? can you still port say 2 12 ssd that are inverted?

I just got my pair of new sdc2.5's along with my aq1200d amp. I want to wire it to 1 ohm and i believe the picture shows how to do it. However I'm very confused on the size of wire i need to use. I Believe i should use 4 gauge for the power and ground but what size should i use from the amp to the woofers. Not sure what size it is that the amp even takes for the subs. Does anyone know what the recommended size is or what the largest size the speaker outputs on the amp take. One more question what is the proper way to bridge the amp. Hey guys, well i am thinkin of buying a 2006 g35 coupe which has 7.8 cubic ft of trunk space and the system i have is 2x12's in a ported box. dimensions are 1.75ft x 2.75ft x 1.42ft = 6.84 cubic ft. i would have a little under a ft of space left over assuming it would fit at all. i also have to somehow fit 2 sundown amps in there as well...is this the stupidest idea ever or should i take a stab at it??????? if it all works i would have 4000watts pumping through the car.

This is a new one to me. So it got cold here and I turned my car stereo on about a week ago. The right midrange in the kick sterted to make a static/crackling sound. I immediatly turned the radio off until I could check it over. I checked my wiring and everything is secure. I turned the radio back on and the problem is not there anymore. The speaker then worked and no static. Two weeks go by and its randomly doing it again. I am at a loss. Ive checked everything but the impedance of the driver. Who knows maybe its on its death bed. Im planning to do a wall in my car but my wife says I have to wait until we have another car (we have kids.) In the meantime I have dimensions of 33Dx31Wx16H. With .75 MDF that leaves 7.79783 cubes total. I want to run one Xcon 18 but I dont know what the mounting depth is. Obvioussly Ill be mounting it sub up so my D will become 16". I assume 16" is deep enough but? After port and sub displacement I should have about 7 cubes and want to tune to 32hz. is 7 cubes at 32HZ. too much for 1 Xcon18?

I have 2 MJ18ms and yesterday i noticed it wasnt geting low as it used too, I noticed it yesterday night around 1 am and it was freezing cold it was ice on my roof, and I had to tug at the door to open it I played songs that would shake the entire car and it just wont do it. I had to put sub out to 15 (max on my alpine) to get it to do anything like it used to I normally have it at 8 whats going on Is my amp dying or what? cant be my ears, becuse I can feel my system

Okay I just installed a pair of 12s in a ported inclosure and I get this popping sound coming from the sub. Today I was sitting there looking at them trying to figure out what was happening when the sun got down low enough and shone on the face of the sub, it was then that I saw the face of the sub pop out in the top corner, It just made a little bubble and created the popping noise. Has anyone ever seen this?????????????????
