Hey guys, well i am thinkin of buying a 2006 g35 coupe which has 7.8 cubic ft of trunk space and the system i have is 2x12's in a ported box. dimensions are 1.75ft x 2.75ft x 1.42ft = 6.84 cubic ft. i would have a little under a ft of space left over assuming it would fit at all. i also have to somehow fit 2 sundown amps in there as well...is this the stupidest idea ever or should i take a stab at it??????? if it all works i would have 4000watts pumping through the car.

Im planning to do a wall in my car but my wife says I have to wait until we have another car (we have kids.) In the meantime I have dimensions of 33Dx31Wx16H. With .75 MDF that leaves 7.79783 cubes total. I want to run one Xcon 18 but I dont know what the mounting depth is. Obvioussly Ill be mounting it sub up so my D will become 16". I assume 16" is deep enough but? After port and sub displacement I should have about 7 cubes and want to tune to 32hz. is 7 cubes at 32HZ. too much for 1 Xcon18?

Hey everyone. I am getting ready to order equipment for my new boat. In my last boat I ran two FI Q 12's with the high qts option in 1 cube sealed fiberglass enclosures (after displacement) with 1200 watts rms each. With that I have two questions: 1) What subs would you recommend (I have been looking at the Xcon, Q, and Exile Big, but am open to anything). I have a Exile 2500.1 amp that I plan to use which puts out 2500 watts at 1 ohm. 2) What would fit best in the space provided (info below)? (I know I can fit 2 12's sealed again easily) Anyway, the new boat gives me some more room to play with, but limited access. I know I want to install one sub on the drivers si…

Dual 4 ohm.... but recone impedence is not important 27mm x max with a 3 inch voice coil if they actually are blown and its not my friends hearing i will get some more pics up and measurements but i really loved these subs and the mag is a decent size so scot or nick or anyone who does or has the parts to possible recone these drives please let me know. Thanks in adv…

Hi guys, My Durango has 6.5's upfront with factory 1 inch tweets and 6.5''s in rear. My plan was to put new comp set up front and a midbass spkr, in rear, but after reading some peoples posts they say rear spkrs. won't be heard anyway. Is this true? If so instead of a 4 channel amp do I just run a 2 ch. and wire it to the spkrs and tweets or just the spkrs and run the tweets off the radio? Thanks for your help.

I think I finally decided on the Q. Now I just don't know which options are going to work best. I don't have an amp yet, but plan on getting something that is around 1200-1500. What I'm looking for in a sub, is one that will work best in a small sealed enclosure (around 1 cube), has great transient response, and can drop low. It is an old, old sub now, but my favorite by far has been the MASS 2012, and I just can't find a sub that is equal or better. The fs of the Q kind of makes me nervous, as the MASS was around 25 and the q is 34. My front stage consist of a DLS up6i set, being powered by an amp that is 150x2. The front stage sounds quite good for my taste. I've setup…
