This might now be exactly how the final version will look, but here's a peek at what I have sitting at my house.

I had planned on getting the edi 6500 comps and a nine.2, but I decided at this point I should save up some money for my next car then get whatever I want. In the meantime though my stock speakers are NOT cutting it. They are the cheap stock ones that come with a 98 jeep grand cherokee. Are there any cheap coaxials that I can just run off my h/u but will still sound half decent? i'm looking for a new amp for my 12" magnum about 1200 wrms @1 ohm and wanted to hear your guys suggestions. i have a stock electrical system so i want something that makes rated power at like 13 volts instead of 14.5 volts and doesn't strain my electrical system. the most i want to spend is like $350. an amp i have in mind is the elemental designs nine.1, but i'm leary with what i have been hearing about ED. i also have been considering the cadence z1200. i know it's asking a lot but please help me choose. thanks

The drivers are here! If you pre-ordered drivers, yours will probably go out next week. Other than that, ordering is officially open...although I probably won't get around to putting it on the web page until this weekend. Being this busy can not be healthy.

im wondering what the best overall SPL sub is? i have a 15" Fi Btl and im thinking that it is close to the top of the list.....other than the RE trip X what else can take wattage and make windshields flex?

i will be putting a system in my wifes chrysler 300 and i was leaning towards audioque sdc 2.5 and a audioque 1200d, i will be using 2 subs in a ported enclosure, my question is how do audioque's hold up against say ssa or incriminator 187's

I have audioque 2200d and i was wondering what subwoofer setup would get louder? The sub i have right now is a xcon 18 the box is a 5 cubic feet,the other woofers i have in mind are 2 new 12inch icon`s both setups will be ran off the same amp..It is a trunk setup.Thanks for any info..

I was running a set of type r 6.5 components that I got from a friend for a steal. They're starting to go out on me so I'm looking to redo the set up. I'm looking to spend preferably no more than 200 on the speakers and around 200-250 on the amp. I'm willing to budge a little bit if it's worth the money. I really liked the type rs but if you guys have better suggestions for me I'm always open to those! Thanks guys!

i am going to be putting some subs in my room, i have pretty much narrowed it down to three woofers, which one should i get; Sundown audio SA-12 Incriminator audio Lethal Injection 12 DC audio level 3 12 Looking to be able to drop real low, im gonna tune the box to 25-27hz, it is going to be used in a home theatre setup i am looking for lots of output, but the most i can spend is like 250 per sub. With that in mind, feel free to throw in some other subs that you feel fit the description.

I have a single cab 2008 Chevy Silverado with 2 Memphis 12's but have them in a tiny box. I've been looking for 10's that would suit my needs and have been thinking about 1 Fi SSD 10" but now might go ahead for 2 Mach5 Audio IXL 10's. Are these subs good?(Quality & Loudness). How big should each sub get tuned to 34 Hz? Thanks in advance!

I own a 2006 Scion TC which is a hatchback as the trunk is not sealed off at all, it's just behind the rear seats. Now, I ordered a stereo integrity 15" Mag that needs around 3.0 cubes for sealed, and 3.5 for ported according to stereo integrity. The sub will be powered by a directed audio 1100.d which puts out about 1200wRMS at 1ohm. The only real way I could pull this off and still have trunk space is by having the speaker fire upwards, into the top of the hatch glass. How would this sound in my car compared to the same sub firing towards the driver's seat or the rear of the trunk? Also, in real world terms, how much louder is a ported enclosure tuned properly going to …

I planned on buying a set of image dynamics horns. The ID Horns get so loud I do not know what to use to compliment them. Should I go a midrange and a midbass or just a midbass because the horns tackle such a large range of frequencies?

I just ordered two Fi Q 15"s and i'm taking the 2 15"kicker cvx's out! My amp is the memphis 2500 or (Mojo) my car is a 97 honda civic... ok to the point will the Fi's be louder than the Cvx's in a big sealed box...ported is not really an option for me cause i'm leaning more towards a flatter response on low end and more towards sq!! but will the Q's still be louder than the Cvx's??? the box is 2.4 cub.ft per chamber! I know that your input on loud would be a ported box....but sealed which will be Louder?? Thank you

Hey guys. I finally blew my alpine type R 15 after 4 years. Had my alpine mrd m1005 running to it in a sealed enclosure. It was loud and got 141.4 db at a local comp I did just for fun to see how loud I could get. Time for a new 15 to replace it. I'm wondering if anyone knows a good 15" that compares to the type r or better that will run off that 1000 rms nicely. Many of the subs I like seem to be made for ported enclosures. I'm not against ported box but can't afford to have one built right now and I always liked the sound quality from my sealed. I am fixing to do a build in my 2002 Acura RSX-S. I have everything bought except for the sub. My other equipment is Alpine 9887 Hertz ML280 tweets Hertz MLK 165 mids Audison 5.1k 5 channel. I want to run a ported box. At 4 ohms the sub should see circa 750 watts. At 2 ohms it should see circa 1000. Does TC Sounds, Audiopulse, or SoundSplinter make a sub that would pair up well with the sub channel? I would really love to have one with the high roll surround. I tried doing some searches but came up with tons of dead links and almost no driver specs. Any information would be helpful. If I can't find one of these subs to fit the bill I will just go with a 12w7. …

I am picking up a kicker 350.4 today and I need help picking some speakers I was thinking the sundown 6.5 mid bass driver and tweeter set or is co axial a better route to go I have hardly any experience with door speakers so any help would be nice i listen to mostly rap but a little bit of everything according to my mood

Alright peeps its almost rebuild time in the work truck. If you dont know, im running 4 sa8s on a saz3k @1 ohm in 2.2 cubes @35 hz. it sound pretty loud but im just not satisfied. I want it louder. I have about 2.5 cubes to use but im limited to the 4 8s or 2 10s because of height restrictions. any suggestions?? Im thinking maybe 2 Nightshade v2 10s on a saz3k or maybe even 6k if needed as i have a few saz3ks stashed away. Dose anyone make a louder 10 that would work in my space? im pretty sure i have the loudest 8s out there. any thought?

O.K so my brother is going to rebuild his system he had 2 12 alpine type r's and wants something louder deeper and just overall better than his old system. He has the U.S amps xt2000d 1000wrms @1 ohm. I was thinking to tell him to get an Fi SSD but the only thing is that if it could handle 1000wrms daily w/o options or if with them which ones. And what kind of box should you guys tell us to buils ported what tuning frequency or if sealed. He wants something for a daily driver. Or do you guys recommend a different sub. Alright to the point Im doin an install this comming spring The front stage is Focal Utopia Tweeters/Mid/Mid bass (1inch,3" and 6.5") No Rear stage. Here is my is where i am at. I am going to get 2 JL 500/1. I am looking at 2 ebay auctions. I don't know if ii should get the 12in Image dynamics dual 4ohm or a RE audio 12in SX dual 2 ohm? I am looking for big base but still keep a good amount of SQ. Also i don't know which would be better for me 2 or 4 ohm. I have read lots of good things about RE audio on this forum ,but Image dynamics doesn't seem like a bad choice. I am going to build a sealed box if that makes a difference.
