Well here's a few combo pics of the Uberwoofer, Magnum D2, and my cute little fullrange Auras. And the little guy.

I was wondering what people thought about subs facing upward in a sedan trunk. I'm planning on getting a 12" icon but I wouldn't mind having the 15". Problem is that I don't think the trunk in my 97 corolla would be tall enough having the sub standing up. It would be going in a sealed box. I feel like there would be more trunk rattle if I laid the sub down. I see videos where the sub is literally firing into the trunk from an inch away. Would lying the sub make it harder to hear in the front of the car? It seems like there would be a greater chance for cancellation or the sound waves would just get bunched up between the trunk and cone. Separate question but i've always b…

about car: hud: alpine 9831 amplifier: aq 3500.1d 1 stock alt 75A + second alt 100A 1stock bat + 2 deepcycle & 0awg cable box will tune to 32hz, space 5cf is not a problem. music: rap / hip hop / dub step; with low hits It will be used daily, and occasionally in the other box for SPL competitions. I do not know what choice is better: FI btl n2 fully loaded daily variant or AA Mayhem 15' Both are the same specs, same reputation. What choice should I do ? Or wait a few reviews about FI SP4 speakers ?

Right now I currently have a Saturn Ion stock everything, my front stage is getting worked on just waiting on some tweeters to add and it will be complete so no need to worry about that. Alright I'm new to the game of car audio, but currently my car audio system.... sucks, unable to hold any of the music I listen to at the loudness I want...expected of course but a new system is needed, and i plan to do the whole system from start to finish I chosen a receiver that seems to suit my needs already and plan to purchase it soon, but I am completely unsure of the subwoofer I want, I listen to rock, and A LOT of electronic (house, dance, etc) and that means I want my bass to hit hard but at the same time it needs to be fast and keep up with the fast past music i listen to. Hey I was wondering where and how can i get a recone in Australia for my IXL 12", as i blew it up a couple of days ago?? do you guys stock the IXL v.1 parts and do i have to send it to you guys to recone it, or because i actually bought it from Affordable Drivers (Distributor In Aus) can i send it to them to recone it if they have the parts?? or if they dont have the parts and you guys do, can you send the parts to them and they can recone it? or even can Digital Designs recone it for me with the right parts provided by either you guys or Affordable Drivers because Digital Designs are pretty major in Aus and they do recones here for their drivers so they'd know how to fix…

Overview: Ok, I'm planning on getting back into audio (not that I left for long). My past installs have all been geared toward being the loudest possible. My new plan is to try and make my setup geared toward SQ. I'm thinking about doing a 3 way active front stage. I still planning a sub stage but that is not what I'm worried about. I need help picking a pair of 12s for sealed operation. It'll be power by a JBL 1201.1 II amp that puts out 1100 watts at 2 ohms. I want a pair of 12s that'll hit hard and sound good sealed with about 500 watts to each. I had a pair of Orion HP 12s and liked them alot but I blew one and I'm looking to upgrade. So far I like the look of and am thinking of a pair of Audiopulse Epic 12s in dual 2 ohms or Fi SSD 12s depending on how efficient they are. Any other suggestions? I'm looking for a pair of 12s that'll get louder than and sound better than the Orions. Preferrably a pair of efficient 12s.

Pretty much as the title implies.... I've got a 2004 Yukon XL, and I'm updating the entire system. Just replaced my alternator with a 253amp model from a 3500 series pickup (factory option! bolted right in!), will shortly be wiring up a second 1000cca battery. Dual 1/0 runs to the rear, fused at both ends. Currently only running (1) amp, and old Lightning Audio 1001.d @ 1 ohm, will be swapping that out, most likely to a Skar RP-1501.D. Two Powerbass S10-d (dual coil) subs in a 2.7-ish cu ft box built into the rear quarter panel. Tuning is way too low, probably about 24-25Hz. Okay, So i have a 2001 jetta, i dont know how big my trunk is and i suck at math. Hey guys, I'm looking for my first system! I want 2 12"s. I dont want to pay more than 250 a piece for each sub. I'm trying to stay under 1600 RMS for the two subs combined. I'm really choosing between 2 12" Fi SSD's, 2 12" Diamond Audio D6's, or 2 12" Alpine Type R's. I'm going to be putting them in a ported box as i listen to a lot of rap and hip hop. Which setup would be the best? Thanks guys.

anyone have any experience with kicker cvx 10's? if so how did they peroform? what box and what amp did you use? im wanting to know cause im trying to trade my brother for his 2 10's. he has them in prefab sealed boxes ran off some pioneer 500wrms amp and they get pretty loud but he has a trans am hatchback. im thinking of trying them in my trunk car with a 3cf ported box tuned to 32hz with my re12.1 for power so around 500wrms each. any opinions welcomed.

Well this weekend has been eventful. I was sure I wasn't going to have enough time to do all 3 and I was correct in my assumption. However, I took a giant stab at it and have took some pics along the way. I have been doing this a little at a time so if you have any advice then by all means. This is my first attempt at reconing any sub and I will be the first to tell you that if anyone uses as much glue as what came on these things then just let someone else do it if the price is negligible. Hey guy's let me start off by saying im new to the board, im in the crossfire of buying a mojo 15 or sundown zv4 15, don't really know which is the hardest hitting sub between the two. I have a ford focus se (trunk type) and im debating on doing a custom box in the trunk or inside the car and remove the backseat. Alight yall, Since my Bravox mid has a slowly growing tear in the surround I decided to get some opinions on what to do. Overall goals 1. A very well versed front stage that is able to be very loud. 2. Able to sustain good midbass (50/60 hz and up) while not sounding extremely harsh. 3. As some of you know I installed this 10" rockford T2 a few weeks back, wasn't that impressed at first and then i started to like it. anyway, i just picked my car up from the dealer, first thing i notice when i turn on stereo is NO bass, i stop to check all the connections, settings, etc. the basics. everything looks good. get home and put the DMM on my rca's and i can see the amp is getting signal. check the wires coming from the sub. no reading at all. so i'm like WTF and i pull it out of the box. there are NO signs of any kind that would indicate damage. rockford does a pretty good job of concealing all the important parts of their subs, but the portion of the VC that …
