  1. I’m looking at fitting 2 15s in my back seat. Does anyone have any experience with the hdc4 and the ssa zcon. Trying to figure which will want more or less box size. Heading towards the less side for overall fitment purposes. Can’t decide between the 2 subs. Price is close to them just not sure what to go with. I’ve only owned a sundown x15 and 18. So don’t have to much to compare to. Also will be playing hip/hop music as a daily. With a soundqubed 3500 and adding another later down the road.

ok I want to upgrade my system. I'm either going for 2 fi sp4 18" in a big ported box or 8 sundown sa15 in a forth order. I know they're really different systems but what would you choose??? (not planning to compete, just a daily groundpounder) thanks for the advice

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and was hoping u experts can help me decide on a sub(s)/amp combo that would best suit my taste. I want either 2-10s or 1-12, I listen to mostly R&B and some Rap. I will probably get custom ported box build to spec or suggestions for my listen preference. I was looking at the Fi Audio Q, SSA Icon, SS Rl-p for 12s and the Fi Audio SSDs, SSA Dcons, SS Rl-i, Boston Acoustics G3s for 10s... I have about $1200 to spend and want to keep amp rms to a 1000watts or less cause I don't wanna upgrade my electrical and it should enough for daily listening.. All help is appreciated and any other suggestion are welcomed...

well i just got my first listen to a 15" SI-D2, and i must say that i am even more impressed than i was planning to be. i was expecting nothing less than spectacular, what i got was slightly beyond amazing. the box i was using is a 5 cube box tuned to 43 Hz. it is a CRX style box being used in a sedan with the woofer firing upwards and the ports venting to the rear of the trunk. i know that this set up is less than ideal, however it was what i had on hand, and i dont have the time to build an appropriate box for it right now. even with this minor set back though, i am still very pleased with the result. the SI D2 delivers very taught, punchy, intense, and chest poundi…

First off, I'd like to thank Nick Lemons of Stereo Integrity for giving me the opportunity to demo this driver. Having listened to the previous generation of BM's, I was curious as to what the new ones would do. Just to get it out of the way, I did this review for free, I'm not being given anything...the driver in question's going back to North Carolina as soon as I finish writing this First thoughts: When I received the BM, it was packaged in an almost identical fashion to my e12a.22 - a simple but effective cardboard frame, with the speaker itself wrapped in plastic. No damage was sustained in transit, it arrived perfectly. On first inspection, the biggest cosmetic dif…

Well, i was just wondering what kind of sub would be the best to get some spl out of a 1 cf box with maybe a little poly fil... Would have to be able to be powered off of a kicker zx750.1 and less than 7" mounting depth... Would like to keep it around 200 bucks but less would be nice and more may be doable but just post anything you think would be good... Sealed box of course and a 12"... Been looking at fi ssd, anything better than that output wise?

  12. hey im looking for some 6.5" components and i cant decide...ive been talking with some other guys from another forum, and he told me not to really spend a ton on components becuase i will be wasting money becuase i really wont be able to tell a difference for what i want them for. im not going for an A+ sq system...when i get my subs im getting 2 15" RE MT's with an orion 2500d on each...i just want loud bass. so basically i want 2 sets of 6.5" components that'll just keep up with that much bass...i dont want the bass to like drown out the mids and highs. the guy ive been talking to has like a wall of 4 15" mtx 9500s and he has like 4 sets of audiobahn components glassed …

Hey I'm looking to buy a single zcon for now but plan on adding another eventually. I want to run it on a crescendo 3500kw amp, and will upgrade to a 200 amp alt and a yellow top optimal. Is one enough? My car was just totaled and ruined my old setup. So now I'm buying a new car. Haven't decided exactly what car Im getting. But I know for sure I am getting a big car. Maybe an explorer. Most likely an explorer. So I'm wondering would you suggest a 15 or an 18 zcon

ok, I am going to be getting some equipment for christmas, as well as some money I bet to spend on it myself. I figured I should start my research to see what I should ask for. Im looking at getting a sundown sae1200D, audioque AQ1200D or maybe saving some money and getting an autotek or hifonics 15/1600 watt amp. looking at others, but whatever I get, I should at least end up with at least 1200 true watts. my main question is how many subs to look at before I really do my research to pick one. I dont want to spend any more than about 300 bucks on the sub/subs. Im looking at 3 10's or 12's sealed, 2 12's or 15's ported, or one badass 12 or 15 ported. so like 3 - IA 187 10…

Ok. Here's the story. I got a check for 190 bucks. I figure, I'll buy my first sub. (Sold the RE SE-x to a buddy, change of plans) I'm doing 2 12's, so I buy a IA Lethal Injection. Couple days go by, no updates. So I email, and the guy at Vertexaudio.com tells me he's gonna shoot a call to Nick. (great guys to do business with btw) Turns out, they're out of stock on a certain part of the sub and Nick estimates 3-4 weeks on a restock. Now I read about his recent health troubles so I'd take his word for it, but in the meantime why not play the market. But lets backtrack now. Before I ordered the Lethal Injection, I was dead set on two SA-12's, however I heard that my measly…

  17. Hey guys, just bought a double decker pontoon boat and want to throw some Loudspeakers up top for some island parties and raft ups I hit during the summer. I'm shooting for extremely loud and bass heavy (seems to be what most people like) and have a budget of $1k for the setup. I was planning on getting two JBL Eon 15's based off my DJ friend's recommendation but I figured I'd ask here as well. I plan to power the setup with a Honda EU2000i genny (not yet purchased) or perhaps the Ryobi 2000. Also, I'm hoping there exists some way of connecting a blue tooth module directly to the speakers, than controlling wirelessly via phone. Is that possible? Thanks in advan…

And they are MINT condition...

So after some talking here on the forum, I have a Orion 2500D on the way. I was thinking of putting 2 FiAudio 18" Q's in a Jeep cherokee, box would net about 12.5 total cubes, so a little over 6 cubes per 18". Say goodbye to cargo space.... However I have seen some comparision of this brand vs. that brand... and am at a loss. The TC-sound subs look good, some say(on ROE forum) better than Fi-Q in SQ & SPL, due to higher BL. Yet I have not found many spl test on them, but wouldn't doubt it being possible. The Massive audio WC sub looks decent too, putting up 145.8 for one 12" sub on the TL, on the ROE vids... very impressive, looks kinda cheap though...? Anyways just…

Are they worth it? Also how much power should I amp these speakers with? is there a key like don't go over 25% max rms for amplifying or something? http://techronics.com/caraudio_9003_Soundstream-RF-60C-Reference-6-5-inch-Component-Car-Audio-Speakers.html

After waiting a month and a half after placing my order I finally received my AA mayhem. I will be putting it on a soundqubed 750.1 because I dont plan on upgrading my electrical for a little while. I am currently running 2 aq sdc2.0 and they do slam for what they are. As for the box, It is in 2.5 cu tuned to 32hz with a 4" aeroport. Immediately I noticed the packaging is very well done, and I give huge props to SSA for that aspect. I will most likely give a review for the mayhem once I get my box. Anyways here are some pics

So I'm going to start building a loud setup soon, as my Q is fine for daily and sounds great, I want to build something to get really loud. I just want to move some serious air, what would I be happier with? Incriminator DP 21" in about 9-10 cubes, tuning (30-33hz?) Two 18"s, (AA Havoc, eD 19Ov.2, Fi Q/BTL, Mach5 IXL), in about 10 cubes, same tuning. Post your suggestions.

Sorry, I hate to be that guy making all the stupid threads asking a bunch of stupid questions and in this case one that can't really be answered and has already been discussed to death. BUT... After all my reading I'm still not completely sure what to do. The vehicle I'm using is a Suburban so space really isn't an issue. Although I'd like to keep some usable space in the back. I probably want to stay under 8cuft unless going larger would produce substantial gains. I'd like to run no more than 3000watts rms. There's virtually no car audio "scene" where I live so this is really only for my listening pleasure, I'm not interested in competing since there's maybe a couple com…
