Hey guys, just throwing this up for all to see...since you dont see many vids with only one 18 usually...

Any ideas when this is coming out ? How will it compare to the JBL GT5 Series ? I have two projects going on atm, one is ultimate SQ, and one is a walled boomer, im from the UK so the way we do it is like, 10 12's. Thanks

what is the recommended box tuning and size for one 15?

whats the difference between the lvl4 coil and a lvl 5 coil on a dc lvl 4 18? im going to be getting 2 lvl 4 18's and a sundown saz 3000d

Here is a video from a dB Drag event in Sparks, NV today. 8 Level 4 15" subs on 4 Crossfire 4000 watt amps.

Either would be a 15'' ran off an AQ 2200. Am more focus on SPL but would like to sound desent. Setup will be going into a Dakota ext. cab. Enclosure will be a 4 cu.ft. tunes to 32Hz. I mosting listen to reggae with a little rap in the mix. I also was told about the Fi BTL but would like you guys opinions on the chosen few. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Ok so i have recently traded and got a DC XL-18 M1, im not familiar with subs(never ran a DC). Im trying to come with with a good enclosure and will be using aeroports. (<- Saves me some hatch space for stuff) I did see that the DC site says 5.5 cf net for the 18's, but im not sure how to determine how much port i would need for it. My goal is for Daily with good SPL. Really i want it be loud lol. I tune at 40hz because it gives me MY perfect medium of daily and SPL(Thats just me) for the occasional comp. The formats are burps and the other is Music average for 2 different orgs. So i was thinking about going 5.5cf net with maybe a single 8" aero, but again im not…

Hey everybody i just orderd a dcon the other day and i have a box orderd also and its 2.0 cubic ft. and tuned to 41 hertz and it says that its best to have it at 33 hertz and i was wondering if that would affect the sub and if so how?

I've had my Dcon 10 d4 for about 3 years and I love it. First was a ported box at 33hz. Very impressive, sounded like 2 12's but I wanted more sq so I built a sealed box. Still impressive volume, much better sq for my type of music (pop) but I kinda want more... If course lol. I would love to find a used sub to match this one, the older version. My amp is 1 ohm stable. I would just need to build a new box and I'd have the volume I want without sacrificing sq. I have looked but not had any luck yet. But is there another option with a ported box? Maybe tuned to a different frequency that would get more volume but better sq than before at 33hz? All t…

Hello all, I'm thinking of placing a Dcon 10" in a 1cf box ported and wanted to use a 3" port because of size/length restrictions, for 33hz I calculated it to be 15.3" long, is a 3" pvc good enough?

Plan is to run one of these in a ported 1.0 box, My amp; Arc Audio 900.6, will put out 550 wrms bridged @ 4 ohms. How much of this power can I safely run to this sub?

I plan on buying the DCON to put in the trunk of my sons car. It will be powered by an Alpine MRP-M500. I have the recommended specs for the ported box. My question is does any one have a top firing and top port box plan for this sub? I plan on cutting holes in the rear deck to allow sound from the trunk to enter the cabin area. Any other Jetta folks out there with any ideas on the best way to get sound into the cabin with the rear seats closed?

Im new to this forum this is my first post, i am very excited to order a Dcon 15. I have heard awesome things about the 10s, and good things about the 12s. but i havent heard much about the 15, i like SQ and am looking for something really clean and smooth but will go low. I listen to rap, dubstep, and some rock, and most other electronic. But will a Dcon 15 hit as low as my songs play?

What happened to the box plans that once were available for download? I am wanting to build a standard single DCON 10 enclosure for my Fi X, but I can't find the plans anymore.

I have 500 watts @2 ohm for power. A prefab box that's 1.8 cu ft tuned at 31hz slot ported. I listen to all differnt kind of music. I would like the best sq and if it gets loud that's good too. So which 12" should I go with with those specs.

I have a buddy that had someone put his system together and they put in RF P1 10's. How much better would it be to recommend a DCON instead (SQ and SPL)? One thing also, is the P1's are single 4 ohm and he has a 600d1 or something, so my guess is 600rms at 1ohm. right off the bat, I would think the DCON's would be better, because he can get them in dual 4's, and run it at 1 ohm. (he does have 2 10's) Any experiance would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to look like an idiot if I gave him the wrong answer.

Hey guys just had a question on what this might be. Me and sencheezy finally finished tuning the amp and getting everything installed correctly. I've got 2 12' dual 4 ohm Dcons wired at 1 ohm on a 15001d audiopipe amp. Today we heard a popping noise coming out of only one sub at higher volume. The other sounded just fine. Any ideas on what might be causing it? Almost positive it is not blown.

My son is looking at buying a DCON-12 S4 for his car. He will have a Alpine MRP-M500 pushing the DCON. We want to build a ported box for the DCON. SSA says optimal ported box is 2.25 cu.ft tuned to 28-33 hz. I tried downloading the box design from SSA. I can get the google sketch picture, but not the other file. Can someone help me with the box dimensions?

Okay everbody my cousin is getting ready to put a system and wanting to put some bass in tjere and she wants it to get loud but also have pretty good sound quality and what would yall run 2 15in dcons or 1 18 zcon either way it would be tuned to about 33hrtz also will buy the amp when we decided which we are going with.

I currently have a pair of ID12d2v3 subs in a Subzone ported box, 4 cubes, tuned to 30Hz with subs/port firing back and powered by an AQ1200D wired to 2 ohms (870 watts rms). This setup surprised me a few ways 1. The subs are rated at 250 rms, i'm giving them almost double that 2. Subs don't get stinky, never have 3. Never expected the output im getting from this setup, it hits way deeper and gets way louder than I expected it would. I do have some complaints though 1. The box is way too big, IMO. 2. I found a decent deal on some dd 1508's locally but they're s4 voice coils and I noticed on dd's website they are now only offered as d2 or d4 so I was wondering if there's any difference in between the two other than the voice coil configurations.

I was wondering what amp will be good to use on the dd 1508's? Just gonna be running one 8 on my center console... ALso, anyone got one for sale? Im ready to buy asap. I have paypal, let me know.. thanks..

Hello, I just purchased two DD 1508's and am going to be putting them in my 1987 single cab toyota pick-up. I am short so it allows me to have my seat pretty far forward and I can get quite a bit of room back there. DD suggests that I put them in a ported enclosure and tune it to roughly 38 hz. Has anyone experimented with 8's and know of a better frequency to tune them at? If not I will just go with the 38. Next, I couldn't find an exact xmax on these but after reading around I discovered its about 15mm so on my port calculator it suggests I use roughly a 4" port at 20.5 inches long if I am putting it in a 1 cubic foot box.
