Another thing it has 50mm xmax, almost like re xxx series, so i'm guessing the response would not be as great compared to smd/evil series? I'm just a curious george about speakers! I searched around here I'm suprised nothing showed up about them.

Hello folks my name is David and im glad to be new member here. I have 00 s10 extended cab and currently bad subs now lol three yrs later 2-10" re audio sxx d2 in 3.50cubic ft box shared tuned 35hz with mtx 1501d and upgraded electrical system. well since i was low money wise do you think that the soundqubed hds200 10"s would be louder then what i had? considering amp is rated 1500rms@ 2ohms and subs was rated at 1100rms each but the soundqubed hds210 is 600rms each wouldnt it be just as loud or louder considering i would have enought power to push the subs instead of being 250-300rms short of the subs rating rms. I went ahead before this post ordered two of the sq hds210…

How do these two subs compare to one another..?? I am currently running a18 Fi Q sealed. Box is on the rather small side with polyfil but i know this sub is capable of more.... Seen the vvx can be ran in small sealed boxes and know the play lowend pretty good.. Figured i may switch from 1 18 to 2 15 due the fact of more cone area.... Amp is a mmats dhcx2200.1

$500 is my budget including shipping and in a 4 to 4.5 cubic feet box powered by a hifonics brz2400.1d . I was looking at the 15" btl fully loaded, 15" xcon, and the 15" zcon for $30 more. I'm going for spl, i just want it to be loud. for daily use also i thinking about 2 ssd 15 is a slightly smaller box then recommended. what are you suggestions/recommendations of other subs?

Been looking at mach 5 audio and heard so much good thing about it. I have a friend that Dj's hip- hop and trance. I was wondering how 2 mj 18 would do in a Bass reflex (ported) box off of 1000 rms? Will these be loud enough indoor and outdoor? Usually djs for like 50 - 200 max of people. I know these arent PA speakers but will they work?

does anyone have any experience with the Pioneer TS-W3002D4? i want to buy 2 of them and have a 1500 watt amplifier. should i upgrade the amp? are they a good quality sub?

I just got my 15" icon dual 2 on monday =) So anyway im probably about 75% done building a fiberglass box for it and I may have to invert the sub to get the neccesary air space. When i do that I have to reverse the polarity correct? So for a 1 ohm load at the amp I would run amp + to sub - on voice coil 1 and amp - to sub + on voice coil 2 and then connect the remaining 2 terminals together. Is that correct?

Ok, i've been wanting to build a ground pounder for awile now and i'm getting everything worked out before i start. I've gotten some help on box size and tuning (thank you mark) and now i need to figure out my box placement. Looks like the subs will be 4 mj-18's run off a power acoustik a3000db in an 18-20 cube box (depends on if i can fit 20) tuned between 30-35hz. Now i can build the box from behind the front seats back to the tailgate and fire the subs up, or i could build it from the tailgate to where the rear seat is at(it's gonna be out or folded) and fire the subs forward. just wanna know, im using no subsonic and the box is currently tuned to 30hz(until the new bandpass box is built) and with about 1k+ it seems ok, i've never had the guts to turn it up too high though, theres about 1.5kw+ on tap ps. is it true that they are run in with 2.5k in free air before they leave the factory?

well i think ive finally made up my mind on the entire system, 2 12" Magnum D2's powered by (2) Rockford 1001BD Mono Amps. do you think thats too much power or just enough?

well, decided to jump on the bandwagon again. i've decided i want some decent entry level comps. i've been looking at morel maximo 6.5s.. anything else around $120 that would suit my needs? wanted to stay right at $100 but unfortunately i saw nothing in the classifieds that would suit my needs

I've been looking around seeing some people using some ridiculous amount of cheap subs to get a large amount of air displacement. What are some good 15" or 18" subs able to handle at least 250W to do this with? I have a project in mind.

Either would be a 15'' ran off an AQ 2200. Am more focus on SPL but would like to sound desent. Setup will be going into a Dakota ext. cab. Enclosure will be a 4 cu.ft. tunes to 32Hz. I mosting listen to reggae with a little rap in the mix. I also was told about the Fi BTL but would like you guys opinions on the chosen few. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

well its recone time for me, i was wondering on what wiring choices do i have having 2 .7 coils will i get more power out of it if i just choose these instead of having 2 dual 1 like i had before??? just trying to get the most the power as i can and help stop impedence rise

Installed 2 of my 3 lvl2 10's today , on 800rms. my last setup was a single typeR and the one before that was 2 rf t112d4's, all i can say is wow better than both by far..Ran them for an hour they barely got warm Point of story u make a great sub , What ever u doing keeping doing it cause you're doing it right! Next setup def gonna be some lvl4's.

I have a 2014 Ford Explorer sport. 2 Fi team 18s, (2more added later) ported 6th order, 7cuft per sub tuned to 33Hz and will be using a crescendo BC encore 12k. My center ch I can fit a 6.5 pwx or 2 FT1 super tweets. Any recommendations for the doors? I got room for 2-3 8" mids per door (if I customize/deaden and seal the doors) and 2 FT1 tweets. Looking into getting an ssa woofer.. Found a v1 xcon for good price, would like to now the differences between the v1 and v2 xcons.... Any body have the t/s from the v1 woofers ???

My amp is a SAX-100.4 and will be running in 2 ohm stereo so 160 watts per channel. Can 18 gauge handle that?

Well I have 2 Alpine Type R's in 2.2CF @36Hz each seperate enclosures with a Hifonics Brutus 1600 and I am thinking about making a smaller setup with equal or better sound level, what do you think would sound better the Alpine's or a single FI BTL12? would it be as clear? I am planning on tuning it to the same Hz cuz I like that tuning, what do you think would it be as good or better? I plan on upping the power to the Brutus 2600 soon if I go the BTL. Any ideas? bought two brand new from here there incriminator i series 10's have 2 days of low volume... running them at 2 ohms off a sundown sae1200 gains set right... today well playing at med lvl it started to sound off so I turned it down got home to see what's up... one sub has a odd rattle pulled out of of the box shake it sounds like something's loose and rattling the other ones perfect they ohm out to specs

I know this subject has been hit several times, I'm looking to do a three way front stage in my wife's altima. I was thinking of doing the Dynaudio Esotec 342 (yes I know that's pretty pricy). I like the configuration of the setup though. 7" woofer 3" midrange and (big) 1" tweet. This will not probably happen for a few months, but I'm doing some research now to know what I'm getting into. Is there anything else out there that may be in the same ball park as the Dynaudio or better for the price. I would greatly appreciate the advice from some of you expierianced SQ guys. Thanks.
