well after a brief heartatttack this morning. I now have the Proto in my possesion. FedEx dropped it at the neighbors house and when I tracked it this morning and it said delivered I about freaked out, well I did, then my neighbor was like I have what you are looking for. They are a real nice family and that is where all my packages go whenever I am gone. Well I have ran a few songs through my current setup to get a last minute comparison. Today i blew my sundown sa 15. I though about reconing it. But idk yet. Does anybody have any experiences with the american bass xfl 15s? Or fi audio bl 15s? Thought about getting either of those. But i think ill just buy a recone, cause i love my sundown. But today i also ordered the knukonceptz 0 guage power and ground wire. I got the 100 amp fuze. Good choice?

Hey all, I am workon an a build right now, and I am unsure what I should look into for 6.5's and tweets. I am currently running Nendo Pwx's , but they simply do not put out the sound that I am looking for. I am not looking for anything expensive, and I am on a pretty tight budget right now. I will be mounting 2 6.5's in the front doors, and I will be mounting 2 to my wall once it's built. I have a nendo 800.4 for power Thanks in advance ~

Ive posted about this subwoofer on a few other forums, well it took me a couple weeks to even get the guy to tell me the shipping and send me a paypal invoice, well he said the subwoofer was $250 for 1 Oz audio 15" ME15.2 ......which is a good price, but hes trying to charge me $55 to ship that seems to high to me even if he is insuring it and using their packaging...the reason is, is i just shipped 2 RE SE 15's UPS ground to a guy in the same state where he lives and it was only $38 dollars....and he is using UPS ground too. I'm stuck between these two setups?? i want the best spl and sq possible... i will be putting these in a sealed box around 2.4 cubic feet per chamber..i cannot fit a ported box for 15"s in my car!! so which will it be? 2 15" Fi Q's or 2 15" memphis mojo's the amp i have is a titanium 2400 1ohm stable!!

I drive a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire and in the front doors the speakers are 4x6" and in the rear 6x9". My current setup is Sony Xplodes in both locations so I'm looking to upgrade. I' ve already decided on getting a 12" Icon and Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D, but I'm unsure what to do about the rest of the setup. From the looks of it there really aren't that many options for 4x6" speakers that would be any better then my Sonys. What would you guys suggest in my situation? I'm just trying to price everything together for the setup to get an idea of the price and make any adjustments to make it more affordable if need be.

Okay I am offering $10.00Cad to the first person to make me blueprints for 3 MAW10's in a ported enclosure.. they can be sperate chamber or all in the same chamber as long as the box is tuned to 29-30HZ. My trunk is: H-14.5" W-36" D-12" , The specs for the 3 10's show 1cuft per sub ported to 29HZ. I can't seem to do this for some reason so any 1 person that can draw up a blueprint will get the $10.00Cad.. PS- Port need to be in the front baffle of the enclosure, if all 36 inches are used... Whatsup everybody... I've recently decided to upgrade from my 12" mag to a 15 Now i'm tryin to figure out the ideal box size, etc for my setup. Its goin into an '02 Eclipse Hatch powered by a Hifonics BX1500d. I'm lookin to do ported, but space is a tad limited. I'm thinkin i wanna go with a lil more spl than sq, but still a decent mix. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

i THOUGHT about doing a wallor none wall enclosure in my car with three 18's of four 15's...does 18's have the same accuracy as a 15? i know it will play deeper because of the cone area..and yes i did search

Im wondering the best way to wire these speakers to my RF P300-2 I was thinking the 4x6's on 1 channel the tweeters on another but idk about the ohms But I want to make sure because Rockford is not cheap! I WAS JUST CURIOUS AS TO WHEN THE FLAT CONES WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR ORDERING BECAUSE I REALLY LOVED THE LOOK OF THE ONE I HAD SEEN IN A FEW VIDS POSTED AND I PLAN ON GETTING A NEW SUB SOMETIME IN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS ALL HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED

At low volume my subs really hit hard but it seems as if the higher the volume the less of that deep bass i can hear/feel. My head unit goes to volume 62. At 40 i can really hear the deep notes. Should i tune subs for the lower volume and just not turn it up passed that?

Hey, everyone. On www.sonicelectronix.com, i have found a pair of Alpine Type-X reference series component speakers that, including dynomat and baffles, will run me about 200 dollars out the door. These speakers are running 300 dollars for just the speakers on Alpine's site. The only problem is there is no shops around that have these speakers available to listen to.... What are your opinions on this speaker and would you have any other recomendations (perferably costing less money?). ok, so a buddy of mine just bought 2 NS 15 v2's brand new and is getting rid of his old stuff. he builds his own boxes and what not. well i purchased 2 mtx 9500's off him awhile back and when he sold them, he bought a brand new dd 9500G 15 and built a sick ass custom dual ported box for it. i heard he was getting a new system and asked how much for the box because it fits all my dimensions. to my surprise, he said $300 for box AND sub...... only catch is the sub has one blown coil. So I'm starting my next system build that'll be going in a Toyota tundra crewmax. So far that I have lined up is: Pioneer AVH4300 Rainbow Germanium 6.5 comps up front ARC KS125.2 or ARC KS300.2 for comps ARC KS1000.1 for subs I've been out of the seen for years now and I need some advice on selecting a pair of subs that will compliment the front stage. I installed them today in the back of the rsx in a sealed box. They are running off a jble 1200.1. So far I havent been pushing them too hard because i want to break them in properly. They are running off the stock head unit spliced into my rear speaker. They wont get very loud but when they do they shake your whole body. They are very accurate and have great response to the fast bass lines. I'll be getting a real head unit next week and be ready to push these to their limits. Alright guys, I finally got my build up and running (its in the build log section if you need to see it) and I am asking myself if I need more power. Currently I am running an AB1100.1, and during testing had it wired up but scored a 150.2. After wiring it down for peak power from the amp it scored a 154.2. Te reason I ask this is because these subs seem to be laughing at that amp.. I mean I know they are underrated at 2250 RMS but they literally only move 3/4 of an inch at most (20-30hz) and get stupid loud in that box. I am looking to add more batteries, maybe another alt, and maybe gonna add another AB1100.1. I am just worried that the 3" coil wont be able to han…

OK im building my box at 12 cu ft tuned to 31 hz. 41x20x30 roughly 192 sq in of port area...port back subs up. port going along the bottom width 39 inches wide and 5 inches tall with a kerfed port. i get a port length of 14.54 inches. correct or i done screwed up?

I have been trying to plan out a complete system for my new 2011 malibu. I own 2 sa12s so those will be my sub stage. Amp I have my eye on a crescendo bc2000. Looking for some help in a new build. I want or use my current amp RF p1000bd- will be running @1ohm I have room for two 15" woofers in a sealed box. (have roughly 5cf to work with) This will be going in my dodge megacab. Looking at Sundown E-15 or Sa-15 Recommed best sub in sub 300.00 price range. Goal is good balance of SQ & SPL.

The plans were as followed Midbass 60-100hz : Sundown Audio SD-1 10" x4 Mids 100-2500hz : PHL 2002 x2 Mids/Highs 2500hz + : Image Dynamics CD1E Mini x2 Mids/High Amps : Sundown 100.4 x3 (Bridged To Each Driver) Here is the problem, i dont have the space under the dash or anywere to mount my ID horns. I deffintly want to keep the midbass. So what i need is suggests for mids and highs drivers. What im looking for is an extremly loud and clean sound mids ands highs set up to keep up with my wall. does a Magnum D2 12" come in dual 2 ohms or 4 ohms? P.S. just something thats been on my mind ever since i found stereo integrity forums... With the Mag being such a good subwoofer how come stereo integrity isnt up there with JL audio, Rockford, Kicker, and the other leading brands?
