Subwoofers / Speakers

What is the RMS for these 4inch tweeters. Site says 220 but just making sure if its rms.

Ok so installed them today, but it is quiet as hell. Will it get louder as the suspension breaks in? It is a D2 wired for 1 ohm.

I know every sub dont do very well in fourth orders , so what are some subs that will do very good in a fourth order? just to throw it out there,I see some people that are somewhat quiet then on the other hand i see some people with two subs that have the whole vehicle flexing. I know box design play a big part also

Hey ive posted before here asking about what subs i should buy to fit in the trunk of a 2004 dodge intrepid but never really came to a decision. But with the black friday sale i really want to make up my mind fast. I have a regular battery in the front and an xs 3400 in the rear. Did big 3 in 00 wire. And im getting a new alternator. I was playing "Clearest Blue" by CHVRCHES and it was pounding, in a moment of foolishness, I pumped up the sub out volume on my HU and the sub was putting out some serious bass and then nothing. My fears were confirmed when I pulled the XCON 10 yesterday and saw the broken tinsel lead. I knew I didn't cook the coil as I didn't smell anything, in fact, the coil looked perfect. I tried to find other threads that might have helped, but didn't stumble upon any.. (maybe I didn't search the right keywords). But either way, my problem is that my sub will just randomly stop playing, and then start again. Whats the recomended sealed enclosure for an mli-65 for HT use, how about ported? Id like to make some kind of towers using 3 or 4 of these and a large format tweet, any ideas on that? How much power do they like per mli-65 for HT use? Any suggestions about this idea.

i know theyre rated at like 700 - 1000 RMS or so but could 4 of them stand up to 2 DD Z1's @ 1 ohm each gain matched??

Well, I think I am leaning towards two sealed twelves now, instead of an icon or xcon in a large ported box. Since IA doesn't post any specs on their woofers, it is hard to model responses and compare these two woofers. If I were to put these woofers into an optimum sealed enclosure, which would be better? What I mean by better is which one would give me the lowest extension, and upper extension, and the best SQ? Sundown shows an F3 of 44hz in a 1 cu. ft. box. that isn't too bad, and should dig pretty deep, but I cannot tell anything about the LI. I am looking at a pair of used Crossfire Db3 12"s, for my nephews ride. Not a brand I am familiar with, so was hoping someone had experience with them. The gentleman selling them only wants $50 for the pair, so right in the price range I want to spend on the kid. Got a new truck (2004.f250 king ranch) and am ditching the factory 6x8s and 6.5s but need some guidance on what to get. Dont want Jls or kickers.. if been looking at ground zero stuff but cant seem to find anywhere to buy any. Dont want to break the bank!

So as most of may know the car that is crashed does not have the speakers or amp....so imma buy these things. for the rear imma go with 6.5 coax's and in the front imma go with components but the hard thing i am finding is which ones i am on a 150 dolllar budget on speakers. I found these 3 way speakers but i dont know if these are better or worse than the regular 2 way ones. If i go to 2 way imma go RE Audio Components not the xxX i have had them before and i liked them. I can get all 4 speakers for 150 and 100 for the XT800.4 amp from RE /US amps i had this setup before but now im just trying to figure out if the 3 ways are better or what? I was thinking about running 4 txx bf 15s in a custom box, but i dont know if i should. if i do should i go ported or sealed. i've always went ported but just wanted to know would it matter. i'm getting the Crescendo BC5500D amp to power em, and 2 xs power D3100s. please help me out should i go with this setup? i already have the big three and zero everything from front to back.

a friend has a blown 12.5 LF boston acoustics sub that had its coil unwind on him. its a single 2ohm coil - does anyone know where i can find a recone kit for this sub? thanks.

I am trying to decide which way to go I know both company and subs are of the best quality just can't decide. So I'm coming to great group of guys for help. I will be running a BC5500 and I want four 15. I want loud but clean. I've had a sundown nightshade z 18, a dd9515, skar vvx 15s just to give you some of the other systems I've ran. I like the dd9515 control and loudness but nothing rocked the jeep like the nightshade but it missed alot of notes. I want the love child of this two subs. Thanks for your advice.

Ive been looking to upgrade my system for a while to something louder and cleaner and have been looking mainly at JLs. I recently found W6W12s on sale on sonicelectronix for around $400. From what I read these are the subs I'm looking for but I still have a few questions. Right now I'm running a 15" Eclipse titanium in a ported box on a Hifonics Zeus 1200 watt amplifier in a 2001 Expedition. Would 2 W6s be louder than this? I'm looking for something that will really hit hard, like a lot harder than the eclipse. Will the amp I have work for two of these subs? Also would I be better off going for 1 W7? Lastly, would it be necessary to make improvements to the wiring setup I…
