How much will the subs break my wallet for and do you think 6.416ft^3 @ 30Hz with a Sundown SAZ-2000 would be a good combination for your subwoofers?

They do a good job, but I gotta listen to them for longer tommorrow before I can say anything further, besides that the midbass on these things is GOOD

Hey everyone! So I just purchased some of NVX 6-1/2" V-Series 2-way components since I wanted to give them a try. Looking into a new amp for just these speakers only. Curious what you think about these two amps? There around the price I want to spend and I am not 100% on sticking with this brand, but ive had good luck with these amps over the years so I figured I would stick with them. I can't seem to make up my mind what I want to run in the Supra for a substage... 12" or 15"?? Box will be max. ~3ft^3 regardless (fiberglassed spare tire well)...Power supplied from a PG Tantrum 1200.1... The install won't be visible at all, so I'm not concerned about anyone "seeing" it. I guess it all comes down to a question of sensibility? Do I really need a 15" powered by 1500W in a hatchback? Or will a 12" w/ 1500W suffice? What is the RMS for these 4inch tweeters. Site says 220 but just making sure if its rms.

So only like .6ft^3 each. I need some subs that are no more than say $130 each and will work with 250-300 each. I thought about reusing my amp the jl xd 500/3 300x1 at 2 ohm. But I don't think that will be enough power for 2 subs. I need to watch the mounting depth as well. No more than 5.75" with vented pole piece. I thought about JL 10w1v3 or 10w3v3. Im not a big fan of jl subs but they work great in this enclosure size. It is going in a 2007 dodge ram 1500 quad…

does a Magnum D2 12" come in dual 2 ohms or 4 ohms? P.S. just something thats been on my mind ever since i found stereo integrity forums... With the Mag being such a good subwoofer how come stereo integrity isnt up there with JL audio, Rockford, Kicker, and the other leading brands?

Hi guys. I currently am running a single Alpine SWX-1242D with a pdx 1.1000 in a 2.25 - 2.5 cubic foot enclosure in the back of my Hummer. I csn't remember what it is tuned to, as I got the design off of a forum a couple years ago. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get the ouput I want. I am not sure why, but there just doesn't seem to be enough bass. My input source is a Mac mini running to an Alpine PXE 650 with the Ant EQ, which has 4 volt pre outs. I also run a stock batt, with a yellow top optima in the back. Stock alternator and all power And grounds are 0 gauge welding cable. So since I can't firgure out the problem other than the box may not be right, …

Anyone have any reviews/personal experience with em? There a new line off JL. Inexpensive and looking into it. I dont want bright tweeters. And I heard a review that these dont get bright.

Ok I know you guys can get WAY too technical (not to mention harsh) for me but I'm going to try this anyway. I am currently running an active 2-way front stage plus two (sealed,downfired) 12" TC-9's in a Chevy Colorado extended cab. See profile. Although I am pleased with this setup I'm still lacking that "something" that makes it near perfect to my taste. Ok, guys I have a ported enclosure with a 13W7, It hasn't been braced... How much more spl do you think I could gain if I braced it? I'm using 3/4" MDF and I'm driving it with a JBL GTO 14001.

I'm interested in getting a vey high resolution "Magnum" logo. I figured since they can no longer be called "Magnums" that perhaps a high resolution image might now be available without any conflict. I am thinking about getting a 4ch amp a set of mids and tweets and then running everything active. I'll probably get a next 4ch amp that 80rmsx 4 and then a pair of eD eu650 mids and possibly this lgm tweeter http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/in...2.15092&pid=635 The tweeter is supposed to be very similar to one used by jl and diamond on the original hex's that were made in germany. Total cost comes out to under 250 for everything. How do you guys think it would sound? Would everything work fine? Let me know of any recommendations you may have. Thanks. Eric

So to my question, what are the usable higher frequencies that can produce in a very linear line from your subs in a medium size box (either sealed or ported) fom say 60hz on up to.... What? They would be ran off an aq1200d. Looking for some ideas to think about while I still am thinking about my next build. Would be used between sub (1 18" fi q on a BC2000D, high pass set to 27hz low pass set at 70hz) and midrange 6ND430 that I've ran as low as 100 hz up to 1.5k off an aq1200d. Been looking at mach 5 audio and heard so much good thing about it. I have a friend that Dj's hip- hop and trance. I was wondering how 2 mj 18 would do in a Bass reflex (ported) box off of 1000 rms? Will these be loud enough indoor and outdoor? Usually djs for like 50 - 200 max of people. I know these arent PA speakers but will they work?

Well I have an old body style s10, 3kRMS, and 15.64cubes of volume. Not really sure what to do for the port but I was thinking of a 4"port spanning 44" across the top of the box. or one flared center port being 5x36 and tuning about 32hz... let me know what you guys think

Has anyone had alot of coil stuck down in the motor gap before? . . Have a customer that im doing a recone for and almost all of the coil is way down in the gap. . .
