hey i just wanted to get the word out there about my system getting jacked and if you could keep your eyes peeled for a weird discription of the sub where there is no name and no identifying marks on them they are the first gen of 15s i am gonna kill some one soon but the seller shoudl be in iowa i woudl asume NW corner any info woudl be a huge help and anyone that wants to help kill them is more than welcome

who has experience with both speakers or know anything about the HCCA

I almost hesitate in asking this....... as I realise that this is not really what Mach5 seems to be about (and to be honest neither am I). But....... Has anyone here utilised the smaller IXL series (such as the IXL 10) in a SPL type situation? Competitively? I am currently competing in a series of Sound Quality events which have an attached SPL component (for an overall Champ). Not designed to be top end SPL type comp but something fun for the SQ guys to compete in. I know I know versus threads suck, but whatever lol. I've been out of the game for some time and I am looking for a pair of 12s that can sound just beautiful but get down when I need it to. The ID Maxs are a bit more expensive but they have awesome reviews. The Qs I know can get loud, at least the older ones, and I always read they sound good but what in comparison? I'm looking to use 2kw let me know what you think!

Let me word this different. What are some good 6.5" comp speakers that are a good value? Going to have 100 rms @ 4 ohms from a US Acoustics Barbara Ann amp.

2 15" SSA ICONS! I was pretty pissed this morning cause someone rung the doorbell at like 8 30 am i was like " who the hell is ringing the doorbell" then i found out it was just UPS! vs a JL 10"

I got a Memphis M3 10 (2008) and its def. blown but it still barely vibrates and makes the faintest bass when I turn it up. What does that mean? I already ordered a recone so I was just wondering if it would be possible to fix? The coil looks fine and both terminals still have the correct resistance. Tinsel looked okay but I didnt really look that good due to it being a bulky 10 so its hard to see anything. Anybody know what it might be and how to fix it?

First off I know the coil and magnet gets warm when driven hard, but right now it is hooked up in my house to 250-300 watts rms, and I was watching a tv show at half volume, and I need to take my sub out afterwards because someone bought the box it was in, and i felt the magnet and it was luke warm. I am just wondering if this is normal and, if it gets warm at low power, how hot does it get when its driven at 1800rms for long term, in the car??

Hey guys been off the market for a while but looking into buying a new car so of course had to come back and guys your guys' opinions on systems. I should be finding myself in a B8 A4 within the next month or two and already know I'm going to want some kicking bass in the trunk. I have previously had the Fi BL 18 in a big ported box... boy did I love that thing but had to sell a few things. Hello, I'm in the process of redoing/upgrading my subwoofer setup, and I need some help pertaining to the amount of subs and box type. I have a Sundown SAZ-1500d amplifier, 0 gauge wiring to it, and the big 3 upgraded. I am being limited by space - I'm working with an area approximately 30" wide x 18" deep x 14.5" tall. So, the way I see it I have two options - #1 - sealed box with (2) Fi SSD 12's w/ copper coils, or #2- a ported box ~2.25 cubes, tuned at 32hz, with a Fi Q 12. If it were possible, I would build a ported box to suit the (2) Fi SSD 12's, but I just don't think I have adequate room right now. My questions are: 1.) which setup will sound better overall? 2.…

So right now I have a Cadence ZRS-8 (site says 1500 rms @ 1 ohm, but really puts out around 18-1900 rms @ 1 ohm), and a RD Alpha V2. I want to upgrade so I can get more output, I was thinking either going a single 15" or two 12", it can't be anything that will only fit in a SUV because this will be going into a trunk of a '98 Honda Accord Coupe, my budget is $500 (i would prefer used so I can buy the sub(s) cheaper). I was thinking about a 15" Xcon, 15" BTL, two 12" Icons, or two 12" BL, I am also open to other suggestions.

Hello everyone I want to get your opinions on wich to go with. The sub will be in 1.25 sealed powered with 1500 watts. I listen to all music however lean more towards rap. Looking for a loud """SQL""" setup. Is there really that much difference between the two?

I have been punching in the few parameters this programs requires on just about every sub lately that i could possibly be interested in. We did a install using kicker amps and subs and I got to reading the fine print on the box lol and I found that there amps were made in korea and I was wondering if there subs were made there too If so , I'll never buy another kicker product again

Finally I am looking for a 15" sub for my truck. The box is going to be about 3.75 cubes tuned to 33 with appr. 1200 wrms. Here are the two subs I have narrowed down to... 15" Kicker L7 for $185 shipped 15" SSA Icon $230 shipped I have never heard an icon but I have read great reviews on them. I have dealt with kicker for a few years now and have always been satisfied with their subs. My question is will the ssa icon be noticeably better street beating than the L7 even though the L7 has more cone area.

Guys, Sorry wrong title I don't know how to edit title What will you choose between these two setup 1. DC Level 5 15" will be powered by Amp 3,000 watts or 2. Warden 12" will be powered by strapped two 2,000 watts amp. Both will have sufficient power to back them up.(HO Alt, batteries and big3 ) Thanks in advance!

Been talking to Kevin from DIY Cable about the Anarchy mids and found out that he has a 4 ohm version designed. He has not been able to get enough orders to make a production run, but he is trying to give it a go. He needs 150 drivers preordered, a tall task I know but hopefully between all the car and other sites we can get it done.
