Hello everyone i am new as u can see by this being my first post. I am looking to upgrade my system right now i have x2 D3 15in subs at 2 ohms on a kenwood Kac 9105D 1800W and i was loking to go with the x1 new fully loaded FI BTL N2 18 or 2 15in Sundown audio v2 Z the amp i am going to get is the SAZ 2500D just wanted to know your opinions and what you think would be best ... o yeah almost forgot the system is going in a 99 ford taurus

What sub would hit harder, the sa8 in a 1cu ported box or the dcon 10 in a 1.25cu ported box. This will be run on about 300rms in the trunk of a car

i have a FI SSD 15, the last generation with all the add ons. I want to get another FI SSD 15 to be louder, BUT will it make a difference if i bought a new one with the NEO magnet, I realy dont want to miss match woofers. So will it make a difference if i bought a new one with a neo magnet and run it with the one i have now without a neo magnet, if so what difference will i notice? and will it be a big one?

How much does the sa-15 weigh? and how much does a death penalty weigh?

i have a audiosystem helon 9000.1 amplifier and 5pcs stinger spv70.. what would be louder between smd18s 2pcs vs 4pcs 15"btl ufo.. not going for spl.. but for musicality only.. just for playing loud or just streetbass.. both system will be powered by the audiosystem helon9000.1.. any opinion?

I'm doing some research for my summer project and have a question about the amount of subs and power. Same subs and power, just different number of subs (I'm strongly considering Sundown's E8's). The question is, which setup would have more as far as output and low end? Less subs and more power per sub or more subs and less power per sub? Or, is it a situation where things would be pretty much equal (kind of like balancing out because less subs/more power=more subs/less power)?

Im having some minor issues with my two Z 15's and i was wondering if i upgrade to a couple of btl 15's what will i gain/lose wit output and sound quality? Is it worth the extra $80?

so i have the kicker 2500.1 which is 2500 @ 2ohms, or 1250 @ 4. I want to know what will give me the most boom. Mostly rap all day. I can build a custom ported box. I have the whole hatch of the nitro to work with. i wanna knock on peoples doors from blocks away, rattling windows is fun- lol

i have a question for all you experts out there i have always heard that room gain starts at the frequency which 1/2 its wavelength is the distance from the subwoofer to the farthest distance of the room of course materials that the room is made of, etc take place but for the example i am going to use lets say there is 0 leaks and really lower resonance of materials used (ex concrete) is room gain greater if the room is 10 feet high by 10 feet wide by 30 feet long and subwoofer placed in a corner (room gain starts at 19 hz i think) 3000 or if the room is 7 feet high by 5 feet wide by 35 feet long and subwoofer is placed in corner (room gain starts at 16hz i think) …

I know this will be mainly opinionated, but i am wondering on what you think would be a good step up from a 12" w6. I love the sound of the w6 but i want it to be a bit louder with the same quality. Again i am not looking for someone to try and give me proof of which sub is better or what would be better, but just personal opinions on what you think would sound similar to a w6 just a bit louder. 12" Fi Q 12 "Death Row 12" Icon

Was there any change in the night shade specs from the v.1 to the v.2? i plan to buy a 15 and not sure the specs changed.

Looking to get some components for setup. Budget is about $400-$500 maybe a bit more if it'd be worth it. 2002 Malibu, want to make some kicks for em. 6.5" comps. I want to get the best sound quality possible. I don't want them to be harsh. I haven't personally heard any of these brands but i've read that Focals can be harsh. My set up is a 4ch amp running active with a pioneer880. the mids are in the door ,sound deadened fully,tweeters mounted above and forward of mids. subs are IA Li's. listen to mostly rap,r&B,and classic rock.

Hey everyone im new to car audio. I am planning on doing something not too small and not too big for my first setup. I kinda have everything planned out i need some help from u guys too tell me what i should do and whats best for me. Well am planning on buying 1 fi btl 18" woofer with a 5000 watt amp that kicks out 2500 watts rms. I have a toyota tacoma 03 with a 4 cylinder engine. im new to this so i dont really know much, i was wondering if i need to do any upgrades to my alternator and battery to supply power. Soundstream TRC.60C 6.5" 250W Tarantula Component System. it will be going i the front dord of my trailblazer with a old bo bo american bass amp not sure of the watts. what do yall think of them and has any one used them. there on the 1800 website.

Hey whats going on. had a question since fi audio came out with there new version n2. is there a need for a double 1" mdf baffle like there spec cut-sheets say. since the n2 is less weight?

Im new to sound systems and I 'm looking for a sub that is the cleanest and produces the most bass for under a 1000 dollars. I already have a Hifonics Hf I Monoblock 2000 watts rms amp and would prefer to be able to use that. Open to speakers up to 15 inches.

Is it really recommended for a daily driver not get to get spl rated subs or is it acceptable?

I have a 2010 Dodge Nitro. Right now i am running two 12'' dvc 4 ohm L7s with a 2500.1 kicker amp- so 4ohm load. Now it only puts out 1250 @ 4 ohms and 2500@ 2, but it slams them pretty hard- they are 750 rms. Now i do mostly listen to rap music or techno so i like the thump thump thump thump. I am very curious about the BTLs and was wondering if they are capable of slamming harder than the L7s. I was thinking about going with one 12" considering my amp is 2500 @ 2. I need help deciding and i really want to be a believer in Fi cuz all the videos i saw on you tube amazed me. I just got a 2003 toyota celica gts and am set on getting a 12" SSA ICON D2. I am going for SQ and dont know whether to get a ported box or sealed. Also, I have heard that facing the sub up is a good idea in a celica because of the shape of the tailgate. Anyway, i need to know info on the box and what amp to get.
