Ok, Here is an easy once. I am looking for a few good 10's that are dual 2 ohm that take will take some power (2500 watts piece) for burps. I had my heart set on the RE MT's since they were at a good price but after thinking about it I am not so sure I want 110 pounds in subs in my trunk. With the box that is roughly 150 pounds in my little Saturn trunk. Hmmm, there has to be something that can get me loud with a little less weight. Here is what I am looking at so far. I have a 2010 Dodge Nitro. Right now i am running two 12'' dvc 4 ohm L7s with a 2500.1 kicker amp- so 4ohm load. Now it only puts out 1250 @ 4 ohms and 2500@ 2, but it slams them pretty hard- they are 750 rms. Now i do mostly listen to rap music or techno so i like the thump thump thump thump. I am very curious about the BTLs and was wondering if they are capable of slamming harder than the L7s. I was thinking about going with one 12" considering my amp is 2500 @ 2. I need help deciding and i really want to be a believer in Fi cuz all the videos i saw on you tube amazed me. Ok, I am in the market for my first Amp, and Sub set up, I have done tons of research and have talked to the guys at carstereo.com. I have a 2007 honda accord V6 EX-L, I have all stock speakers and all stock power, but it already sounds pretty good for all stock. I want my set up to sound smooth and fluent, rather than just ridiculous bass. I think I and going to get Fi Q15" sub, and Memphis PRD 16 1000.1, If there is any other set up that would meet my needs for around the same price, please let me know. Fi Q15 Memphis 16 PRD 1000.1

I'm not real familiar with enclosures and things of that sort. I can wire them up and all that happy stuff. But I have a 2004 GMC Sierra extended cab and I was talking with a guy at a local audio shop about a box to go under my back seat. He mentioned something about .95cu.ft. for a sealed dual 10" truck box. I showed him the specs on the GCON subs and he told me they should fit no problem in that box. Then I got to looking and based on those specs it said the ICON and even XCON subs would fit as well. Since you all know more than I do about enclosures and sub depth, would the GCON subs fit in that box for my truck? It is a downfire box as well. If you need dimensions of …

Today i blew my sundown sa 15. I though about reconing it. But idk yet. Does anybody have any experiences with the american bass xfl 15s? Or fi audio bl 15s? Thought about getting either of those. But i think ill just buy a recone, cause i love my sundown. But today i also ordered the knukonceptz 0 guage power and ground wire. I got the 100 amp fuze. Good choice?

With my car falling apart and things being broken I'm done with my 18. I currently have the image dynamics 6.5 component set in the front but they wouldn't sound that good without a subwoofer. I can probably get 3-400 for my 18 and the box. With that budget what can I do in the front to make it sound good and still hit decent without a subwoofer. My amp puts 50x4 at 4 ohms, 100x4 at two ohms and 200x2 at 4 ohms.

Im looking for a ten inch alum woofer to get a little more detail in the front. I would like to lower the tuning frequency on my 15 and looking to add 2 10s to blend with my germaniums then moving to the kicks (Only use two of the four mids). Main thing would have to be able to run IB as my doors are deadened and sealed pretty well. I used plexi to seal off any compartmental openings and then prayed a window motor never goes out but essentially im working on my processing now and think this would be a good step forward prior to making my selections. i THOUGHT about doing a wallor none wall enclosure in my car with three 18's of four 15's...does 18's have the same accuracy as a 15? i know it will play deeper because of the cone area..and yes i did search

I am getting very irritated with my PG Tantrum. I have not had it in long at all. And this thing is suppose to put out 1507 watts (by BS). Well my PPI PC2150 does alot better on my Magnum than the PG. I do not get it. I put my Mag in a 2 cube sealed box and still does not help it. I had the Tantrum turned about 3/4 the way up, the ssf on about 30, the crossover on about 80hz, and the bass boost barely up at all and my PPI out does this amp. Everyone kept telling me it had to be a setting on the amp so I gradualy turned it up a little more, and yes I was getting some major movement out of the sub at high volumes but at volumes of 21 and less (Alpine HU) it was like there w…

Im seriously lookin at gettin 2 of the S12X2, but i have a couple problems 1. I have no clue how to build a box...and dont know where i can buy one tough enough to get the job done 2. I dont know if they will fit into the trunk of a 2003 Evo Can anyone hook me up with some info on this?

I posted this someplace else but you guys seem to know Parts Express pretty well from my brief experience here! I have an 8" subwoofer from a 2001 Suburban with a completely disintegrated foam surround. Voice coil still works and spider is intact. The speaker is 2 ohms and sees about 50 watts from the amplifier. It sits in a small sealed box, around 0.5 cu ft. Thats about all I know of it. Parts express has many options to choose from. I want as cheap as possible since this vehicle is getting sold and I'd like it to have a fully working radio. If it was mine, it would be getting two 18s about now! Any ideas guys?

I have more work to do, but so far I have to say the XCON is a low end beast! I built a sealed enclosure that is 1.25 cubes and have a temp amp right now which is a RF 500.1. I have some fine tuning to do, but right off the bat, I know I will be happy with this sub. Played a couple tracks from Bass 305, some Decaf, and some Lamb of God. The presence of the sub is amazing! Ok I have an 06 Scion xB. Not much room in the back for a box. I currently have a Sundown Audio Nightshade v1 and a Sundown Audio 1500v1. I would like to change systems and hopefully get a little louder. I will be going with top of line equipment. IE Digital Designs, Sundown, or PSI. What is everyone's opinion on what I should go with?

I have a new sub in a 3.5 ft3 box at 32 hz (Fishercustom designed) The amp is a Sundown saz 1000. My question is : do I have to play some special songs with the sub? What volume ? Low, high? Can I listen to anything without worrying, and the sub will be good in a few days ? After 2 hours it is still so hard!!! And it does play really low.

My next setup is going to consist of a single 12" driver in a Khaotik ported enclosure. My question: As far as output goes, not SQ by any means, which is better suited for my situation? A Fi SSD 12" or an SSA ICON 12"? The sub will be seeing around 1500 watts, probably not the full 1500 but that's about RMS on the amp. I'm looking for strictly output. I have all electrical necessary for the setup. It's just that after shipping, these 2 subs are about the exact same price, and same RMS rating. Just needing input, on the output of them lol. i just picked up an extra 4ohm mj18 and i guess i will be throwing it into my tahoe....since i have a little room to play with i was wondering if one of you guys could please give a good box recommendation for this sub or is the standard 4.5 ported all i need....i would like to have the sub and port facing in the same direction because i just like that combo a lil better....thanks
