So today I was all set to order my crescendo 2000 . I had planned on a single xcon 15..... anyways. My wife needed me to run to the store and right when I was leaving a person accepted an offer on a mmats 3500.1. Now I have no plan. Are there any 15 subs that run on 2750 daily and can play in a 3cf box?

I recently got a 2015 Altima 4d, and would like to upgrade the factory speakers. I'm not so much concerned with changing the HU (has b/u camera and steering wheel controls), unless it is absolutely necessary. I'm also not concerned with adding a sub, atleast not yet, but is a possibility in the future. As far as speakers go, I'm looking at going to 6.5's and adding a pair of tweeters. It currently has 4 door speakers, a pair of 6x9's in the deck, and a pair of 3.5's in the dash. My thought is to ditch the 6x9's (or just unhook), replace the 3.5's in the dash with some tweets, and replace the front door speakers (possibly all 4 door speakers). I do plan on running the spea…

Ok so I'm trying to answer the following questions What is it? What does it do? Does it benefit the subwoofer and/or sound? Should I get it in my enclosure? From a lot of help from many folks here at SSA, M5, jim, neon and acidburn come to mind(thanks dudes), I decided to go active. I ordered my pio 880 here from SSA because in the end, i've been helped here more and would rather give my hard earned dollars to this place when they are an option. I will be deadening the whole vehicle at some point and doing the doors when I start on the speakers, I cant even figure out how to pop the doors off on this vehicle, and as it's cold as chit I haven't spent anytime on it yet. I am goin to be buying either 12" or 15" speakers, i dont really know what to buy, do you recomend goin for 1 18" or 2 12s or even 2 15s? Money is a lil tight, but ive been trying to get a second one. I also need to know about a amp and a box so i know what i need to get and save (money wise). I was thinking for a amp, either a Soundstream or a Rockford Fosgate. If you think there is a better, cheaper and produces more power please let me know. Hello, Can you guys give me some suggestions on some subs that might work for me. I am looking at putting a Zed audio Deuce or possibly a couple of Miniliths into a Civic 4 door and use something other than the Rockford DVCs we have. I am thinking an Icon or Soundsplinter 10 or 12. I have about 2.5cubic feet to work with so that will limit what I do as well. I am comfortable doing slot ported and sealed boxes. I have a second battery and everything done I am just thinking about changing around the sub dept. for something that is more for sound quality but can get loud as well. Ok..My original plan was to go with a single 12" Q sub. However in my intro thread I was informed I would probably want to look at the BL instead. This is waht Ihave to work with: 1999 Mercury Cougar Looking at about a 1.1ft^3 Sealed enclosure. Amp: Kicker XS100 1200watts I'm aware the Q is rated at 1000w rms. I didn't think the 1200 would be that big of a difference. I read the BL is not a sealed enclosure friendly sub which kind of steered me on a differnt course. Any recommendations are welcome. I'm trying to keep it in the $300 and below range if possible. Thanks

Was thinking about switching to a SPL 12" Mach 5 Audio sub or a Fi BTL 12" ... My question is about the SPL 12", can they be modded to Dual 1 ohm's or is Dual 2 the standard? Also, would I be underpowering the Mach 5 with 2 Sundown Audio 1500D's or would it be just right? I've never installed anything other than coaxials in the rear deck of a car... However with my new setup, I'm thinkin of going with 4 Mach 5 MLi-65s. theres going to be tweeters and x-overs aswell. I'm going to be putting one in each factory location. the other two will either go in the pillars, in the dash, or somewhere behind me ( reg cab truck, isn't a rear "stage" useless?) I have a 2010 Dodge Nitro. Right now i am running two 12'' dvc 4 ohm L7s with a 2500.1 kicker amp- so 4ohm load. Now it only puts out 1250 @ 4 ohms and 2500@ 2, but it slams them pretty hard- they are 750 rms. Now i do mostly listen to rap music or techno so i like the thump thump thump thump. I am very curious about the BTLs and was wondering if they are capable of slamming harder than the L7s. I was thinking about going with one 12" considering my amp is 2500 @ 2. I need help deciding and i really want to be a believer in Fi cuz all the videos i saw on you tube amazed me. So my system was stolen out of our mini van but the left the 7" touch screen, it was all old stuff been saving this year to replace it next summer anyways. But I got sick of not having any bass so I got 2 Phoenix Gold QX 12" for $20 off a friend and I picked up a Phoenix Gold QX180.2 and Phoenix Gold ZX350 for $65. The 180.2 will run my kappa (witch are running off the deck right now) in the front door and the ZX350 will run the 2 12" @ 2 ohms. Now my question is, if I would build a box for each 12" would it sound the same as one box for both 12"? Okay, so I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with installs on a toyota prius. I've researched a little bit and can't find all that much. I'm looking to maybe get two SSA GCON 12s. Yep. Topic says it all. I've basically just ran all the wires and installed the head unit (25'th anniversary Alpine). The Tara Labs RCA's are the absolute $hit. Ask Hoss, he was here today.
