I used a pair of Skar IVX 12's for midbass? I came across an extra Two Channel amp, and bought two fifteens before my Skars came in, because I'm the worst impulse buyer, ever. Would it even work? I mean, setting my HPF on the fifteens to like, 60 hz, running the skars from 60-100, and then my components 100+? All of them on different amps, of course.

Anyone happen to know what this sub is?

If was to get a box THE have 2 cu ft. per chamber...its only .2 below the reccommend box size sealed for the maw15...it wouldnt make that much of a difference correct? edit... umm how much polyfill? since the box is under the reccomended size?

Hello! I have a 2000 Camaro with a thunderform 10" sub box (http://thunderforms...._2002/show.html). I was about to get some crappy pioneers but then I came across SSA and am considering the DCON, Skar VVX, maybe a GCON, or something one of you might recommend. My concern is that because the box is so limited (.6 ft3 sealed) if these subs will still sound any good, because I understand that they are engineered to be tuned and be in the right box. I'd be getting a new amp to btw, i'm thinking the Audiopipe APSM-1500. Let me know if you recommend a sub or if you think one of these wouldn't be a good choice for me. Any feedback would really help!

Ok so Ive had many systems in my life time. I am looking for a 10" or 12" no more than $150. I would prefer a 10" in a ported box. I have a jl audio xd500/3 so 300 at 2ohms on the sub channel. I'm not gonna upgrade amps. I will run the front speakers off the front two channels at 70x2 or something like that. I can buy jl audio, alpine, kenwood, and hertz at almost cost. For example jl10w0v3 $65 ea. So I want to know some what you all think. I was thinking about 1.5ft^3 but I know it will depend on the sub. Let me know what subs.

I currently have an RE SX15D4 in a 4 cu ft net box tuned to 31 hertz running off an SAZ-1500D. I want cleaner bass with equivalent output or more. So I was thinking about just buying an XCON 15 Dual 2 and putting it in my current box. Then while i was looking at the classifieds forum i found 2 XCON dual 1 15's for sale for just over $500. Basically $100 more than buying 1 new XCON. If i bought them i'd put them in a sealled box 6 cu ft net. So i guess i'm asking what would you do? And i'm also wondering about power. Ok a lil background, puttin together a system for my rsx and so far I've got 2 18" Xcons (putting them in separate sealed boxes because both won't fit in the car without folding the seats down) with either a crescendo 3500 our a used saz 3500. For the front I've got polk audio mm 6.5" components and for the back seats mm 5 and a quarter coax. For electrical I've got a mechman 270 alt and two xs batteries. My question is whether I should get a set of morel maximo 6's and a set of morel 5c's. Was thinking about switching to a SPL 12" Mach 5 Audio sub or a Fi BTL 12" ... My question is about the SPL 12", can they be modded to Dual 1 ohm's or is Dual 2 the standard? Also, would I be underpowering the Mach 5 with 2 Sundown Audio 1500D's or would it be just right? I've gotta make a decision, because I would like to be able to pull the amps down to .25 ohm or .50 ohm for competitions and the MTX 9500 12" I'm currently using, only comes in Dual 4 ohm so I'm only able to get both amps to see 1 ohm. Okay. The sub system is powered off of 1 JL 500/1. I have already asked you guys about a Dcon setup.. I figure these are my options: 1. I can install my 04S15L7 which is a 2 ohm DVC which I would wire to 4 ohm. This would require that I get an enclosure for it, which would run me in the $200 range. 2. Next is a 12" Dcon in a ported enclosure to spec which would run me about $300-$350. 3. Lastly, I was thinking dual 12" Dcons in a sealed/ported enclosure which would run me about $405-$500. Add another $400 on top of that because their is a big chance I will be get a DC Power alternator during this process. What do you guys think?

Hello, Can you guys give me some suggestions on some subs that might work for me. I am looking at putting a Zed audio Deuce or possibly a couple of Miniliths into a Civic 4 door and use something other than the Rockford DVCs we have. I am thinking an Icon or Soundsplinter 10 or 12. I have about 2.5cubic feet to work with so that will limit what I do as well. I am comfortable doing slot ported and sealed boxes. Can you recone a 12" to a 15" if you get a larger basket?

Im thinking of getting (4) Selenium 6w4p speakers and curious which four channel amp you guys would recommend for them? Im not sure if around 150 bucks will give me a decent amp or not, but that's prob as high as i would like to go price wise! Let alone. What do you guys think of Selenium? im looking for a good pair of components for an SQ install 6.5" for around $200 shipped, going at around 65w at 4 ohms or 180 at 4 ohm. do yall have any suggestions? and if so where to purchase them as well, im going 2 be playing them with a US Amps merlin md-41 amp.

Well I have a SI 12" sub thats been in my room all winter waiting to be installed. Well then early spring I decided to change almost my entire system. I now have a Arc Audio 2500XXK to run my sub. This is one sick powerful amp at 1 Ohm which I plan to run that way for 1050+ watts. Anyway, I entertained the idea of putting 2 12" subs in my car, but then realized due to space problems in my trunk, that would not be a good idea. So now I am wondering with that amp, should I go with a single 15" instead? I assume the box would be a little bigger, then the box for the 12" but not nearly as big as what two 12" would take up!
