im gonna make a box for the girlfriends 02 bug for the RE SRX 10 and which would be the best. sub back port up, sub back port side, or sub back port back? or does it not matter really. not goin for a major setup, just a little smooth bump. thinking 1.5 cubes 35hz

I have a Soundstream Reference class A 10.0 amp and 2 Rockford Fosgate P4004 Amps to use in my 2012 Tacoma access door truck. I want to put a 8 inch woofer in each back door I want to replace the (6x9) speakers in the lower front doors and replace the tweeters in the upper front doors. So what would work best with my amps? Total I need 2 (8 inch) woofers for the rear doors : Brand ? watts RMS ? 2 ( 6 x 9) speakers for front lower side doors: Brand ? Watts RMS ? 2 ( 3i nch) tweeters for the front upper side doors Brands ? Watts RMS ?

Just curious if anyone here has heard the Massive Audio SQX15 subwoofer yet? It is their part of their new line, and looks wicked. If so, would did u think of it?

I used to drive a chevy silverado, and now I'm driving a pontiac grand prix gtp. in the chevy ontop of the back seat, i had 3 memphis 12's in a ported box tuned around 40 hz. now i'm trying to figure out a box that can fit in the trunk to have the 3 subs ported a little lower, probably around 30. the problem isnt so much that i don't have enough trunk space, but the opening when the trunk's open is EXTREEMLY too small to fit a 6 cu. ft. box ported, so now i need help as to putting them all in.... my first guess would be to build three seperate boxes and put them in that way and maybe bolt them all together or something, but has anyone dealt with grand prixs and have a bet…

I have sundown saz1500d amp...I have 0 guage power supply. First I hade a orion H2 15 D2 hooked up running at 1 ohm blew it up after a week was in a orion built to spec box...Next I purchased a RE Audio MX15 D1 Lasted 3 months was running at 2 ohms so it was getting maybe 7 or 800 watts...Dont know why im blowing sub?? amp levels are not maxed by any means...Looking for a single 15" subwoofer for daily use that wont blow up on me....I need input please Looking for SPL but I still want it to sound well... well i noticed today that my subs were sounding a little different. so when i pulled over and looked, one sub was out of phase and was flexxing ALOT more than the other. both subs are wired together at .5ohm to my aq2200..... what could be the problem???

I have a single Dcon 12 right now in a Starr mountain sound box tuned at 33hz (i know its not the box) and its on a Boston's acoustics gt2125 bridged for 400w but I got it tuned way down prob seeing a honest 200w if that and it has this buzzing noise right behind the dust cap almost like a rattle only on the higher notes (low notes you can't hear it) I have the lpf at 70hz I wonder if turning it down further will help but I've had it in two different boxes and its done the same way in each one and I can't seem to fig out what's going on It sounds as if I set a screw on top of the sub while it was playing.

I have an 01 dodge ram extended cab and I am debating on wether I should wall it with 2 18 BTL's or do a 4th order blowthrough. im leaning more towards the blowthrough for the comfort level but im afraid to cut!!! plus i have heard a few 4th order blowthroughs but none in a cabin space as big as mine (only in minis). I have a modded mojo 2500D on the way and I'm very interested in these subs. On paper they seem to be exactly what I want. If I get two the amp will be ran @ 0.5ohm with somewhere around 1700w per sub. I can only afford one for now so I will probably run it at 4 ohm. Could a single Havoc handle 3kw if I wired it at 1ohm? On a side note, I see alot of vented boxes with the port at one end and the sub(s) at the other end. I usually place the port between the subs in a dual sub setup. Is there any gain from porting at the end of a box?

how much can a aq hdc3 take daily on good electrical? and whats good box size and tuning recs for a daily setup..mostly listen to rap, hip hop and r&b

if i were to get 2 audioque 2200d amps and 2 audioque HDC3 12" subs(an amp per a sub) wired down to 1 ohms could the copper series handle it or would i have to buy the aluminum? this is for daily use! also on the audioque website it says 1000 watts rms 2000 watts peak for those subs. but also on there it says you can hook 1 2200d with one HDC3 sub. the amp puts out 2200 at 1 ohms so how would this not damage or blow the sub?

At high volumes my 18 makes a hollow pop sound. It sounds like someone is flicking the dust cap of the woofer but louder. First I thought bottoming out, but it happens at frequencies where there is not high excursion. This problem also happened on my sa12s I had previously. So now I'm thinking it is my amp, but why would the amp make such a noise? Any ideas? Coils read good, no clipping, constant voltage.

I have a 2002 Trailblazer and just got an AQ2200D. Which of these subs would be best for me to put with this amp? Any better recommendations in that price range will be appreciated as well.I am wanting it for music and not competitions but still looking to get pretty loud. Thanks for the help

got a buddy that wants to get a good loud system, looking for a good 18" for loud daily probably in the $500 - $600 range give or take. Vehicle is undetermined for now, most likely an SUV, possibly a small hatchback sports car, either way will slot port and tune around 35Hz. probably get a HO alt, 2 AGM batts, and a BXi2608D as I've learned thats the best cheap way to go. Fully loaded BTL daily option is what we're lookin at now, but want to know what else is in this category? Thanks all! Krypto

I'm torn between an HDC3 18 and a UFO 18. Will be in 8 cubes with 1500 watts. I like the lows and sound quality doesn't matter too much for me.

so im about 97% set on getting 2 audioque hdc3 15s and seen there was an option for copper coils and one for aluminum coils. what is the difference in them performance wise?

HDC4 15.. Yes I know coil smell is not good at all but I am breaking these subs in with power now.. I first broke them in for a week with a nendo 2k at 20hz half power.. They are now on a CT sounds 7k. The amp is DD1'd and the subs bang really hard.. But I am smelling coil smell when i am at the DD1 max volume set. after a few minutes.. I back down the volume as soon as I smell it and have recently turned the gain down a bit more.. Just curious how long I will smell this during the subs break in period.. They are wired @1ohm also.. so I know I am not overpowering the subs at all.. There is barely 3k going to them.. Opinions?

Im planning on doing a very budget build for my santa fe. Space isnt a issue for what i want i have plenty of room. Im looking to do a build with 2 Hds200 15's and will have about 2500watts on tap & before rise & voltage drop(dont feed me the go to a different sub stuff please).
