So my cousin sold me his RE SE 12 for 60 dollars saying it was popped well it's not realy popped but the coils are pretty dark. So either way I am going to RECONE it from FI. I am planning to throw 1000wrms what options should i add for that extra power handling. has anyone heard the ascendant audio havoc in a sealed enclosure? i am getting 2 aa havoc 15's (d2) in a sealed enclosure with roughly 2.4 ft^3 per sub after all displacements each will have it's own rf t1500-1bd they will be firing upwards in my subaru impreza outback sport (hatchback) rewound 160 amp alt and 3 xspower d5100 batts second skin on hatch, roof, and trunk floor i have already ordered them from defiant audio and the suspense is killing me coming up from 2 ported infinity reference 1252w's ( one has a cracked cone and sounds terrible) on a single t1500-1bd any guesses on what kinda tl scores i could get with these? i was hoping for at least 140 whil…

Found a good deal on ebay,orig wanted two sex but funds arent as good at the moment but want something new I currently have two 15" cvrs Will these srx s out perform the kickers? Not sure if i want sealed or ported,leaning towards ported since these are sq subs so i want them as loud as i can get them,But still sounding good my car is a 2000 buick regal Stock alt New normal batt sub amp will be a memphis mclass 1100x1 Any input?

My buddy wants to know which would be the loudest set up... He is starting out with BoX/Sub first before he buys the AMP. should he go 2 12's 1 15's or 1 18 (if he can fit it in that dimension) SUB choices BTLS, LEVEL 5's, MAYHEMS!! REMEMBER the loudest possible set up!! We just measured his trunk and the biggest he can go is L 27" x W 32'' x H 17"

Currently I have a Boston Acoustics G512-44 on a Rockford P1000-1bd. I have it sealed, running at 2-ohm, I like the way it sounds. I listen to mostly rock/rap, with the occasional classic rock and R&B. My goals are to have more output, but still keep accuracy. I really enjoy a tight double bass, and love the deep bass from rap. My G5 plays double bass really good, and hits lows alright. I know I could build a ported box and try that first, but I would like to try something new. I listen to a wide variety of music ranging from house, deep house, electronic, metal, alternative, rap/hip-hop. Vehicle is a 2003 honda civic coupe.. sub in the trunk. Stock electrical. I have a friend with dual Kicker L5s running at 1000 watts total with his factory Durango infinity audio system..I'd like more output and more sound quality than that. I have a spare set of tweeters and crossovers from a 4" mb quart comp set. My question is, can I get any set of 6.5 midbass speakers and use the mb quart crossovers with it? Or are there certain factors that have to be looked at for one to be compatible with the other. I could just get a whole set of 6.5 comps but I remembered I had some extra parts and wanted to see if I can just get some midranges and use what I have.

just bought a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 reg cab and im looking for some suggestions on subs to get my friend has a dual 12 box im buying from him and i only want about 1200 to 1500 watts rms so i dont have to get a h/o alt im putting dual batts under the hood and a alpine headunit rockford fosgate power 6.5s ill probably get a t1500bd so i need 2 12s that will sound good and get loud in a seal box thanx in advance

so i throw the XXX 18 ina 4.5cubes sealed box ...it sounds good and great but i have this slapin noise from the sub when i turn it up .....so it must be the tinsel leads is there any way to fix this or did i just soldered them to high ....

both dual 2ohm running at 1ohm. My question, which would be better for numbers. The 9512 in a 2.75cuft box tuned to 37hertz or a 9515 in a 3cuft tuned to 37hertz. My amp is a sundown 2000d. As of right now, my suv peaks at 50hertz with now deadening.

I was worndering which system would sound the loudest, 4 15" IA li's off of 3000 rms, 2 21" DP's or 2 18" sundown nightshades, IA DP's, AQ HDC3's or FI BTL's runing at 2000 rms each for a daily setup in ported box in a tahoe, what would be your opinion

Im trying to decide which 12" sub i want in my car (its a 75 Chevy Nova hatchback). I listen to almost nothing but rap and i want to be very loud with one 12. Amp is a sae-1200dv1,im going to do the big 3 in 1/0 gauge,and i replaced my alternator when i rebuilt my engine but i have no idea how many amps it is. My budget is $350 so ive been looking at the Mach 5 spl,fi bl,and aq hdc3 copper...open to suggestions,i will make the optimum enclosure for whichever 12 i get. Im leaning toward the mach 5 or aq for when i want to upgrade my power instead of having to add another sub and amp.

O.K so my brother is going to rebuild his system he had 2 12 alpine type r's and wants something louder deeper and just overall better than his old system. He has the U.S amps xt2000d 1000wrms @1 ohm. I was thinking to tell him to get an Fi SSD but the only thing is that if it could handle 1000wrms daily w/o options or if with them which ones. And what kind of box should you guys tell us to buils ported what tuning frequency or if sealed. He wants something for a daily driver. Or do you guys recommend a different sub. i have noticed that The new RE subwoofers like the SR, SE, SXX are badly built unlike they where before.. correct me if im wrong but RE subwoofers are now china made but parts still came from US.. if i where to compare products in general.. i would like to know your opinion about these.. which is a better brand in general terms and application.. RE vs FI? RE vs SunDown(subwoofers)? RE vs AA? fi sundown and aa seem to have the same built for that subwoofer.. they have the element of just by looking at them you knw this sub is loud..

Alright so my cousin just poppped his RE SE 12 the model from 06. So i got a quote from Fi. 180 bone stock He has the hifonics 1608D 1600wrms @1 ohm and the audiocontrol epicenter. But there are alotof options at Fi so wich ones would be good.Like an extra spider? he doesnt want them to pop again

hey guys..i been looking at a jl 13w3v3 model and a idq 12v3 model as well.. i was wondering of these two what your opinions are on going sealed with about 500 watts going to them?
