Ok, I bought a 12" Death Penalty on the last day of the sale and I am in the design process of the enclosure. My car is an 08 Infiniti G35 with factory Bose/Navi with a 10 inch factory sub in the rear deck. I will be taking the factory sub out in order to allow sound to x-fer to the passenger cabin. The majority of what I've read for trunk cars says, for best results fire sub back and port back. Would I be ok firing the sub face up into the vacant 10" hole, and firing the port back? The dimensions I have for my sub back/port back enclosure is 15.5" H x 31.5w x 16.25 d. This comes out to a final 2.22 cuft 33.48hz with 35 sqin of port. Now, I can adjust the box height up …

Im going to start a build soon with 6 lethal injection 12's. Any input on amps? Itll be 3600 watts rms just the subs and honestly i cant afford a $700 amp, but any input will be appreciated!

I have 8 15" Dp's and even on low power (1 of 4 amps on 11 volts) I was very impressed. Now that my batteries are here they should come alive. 4 4500's and 18 volt. Love the look of these newer model with the segmented motors

I currently have an 18" IA Death Penalty and had it on a Hifonics Brutus 2100.1 and I now have a new vehicle and am looking to run two 15" IA Death Penalties, but was curious on what type of power they actually handle and what people have put to them and how well they take abuse. I was thinking about the BC5500 Crescendo amp @ 1 ohm on the two 15"s is that to much for them honestly? I have a 320 amp alternator, & extra batts. So my electrical is decent. 12v setup. Thanks for your input & time, if you can please show me a video of your setup to give me an idea on what type of power you do daily, thanks.

Ok I am thinking about purchasing two DP 15's but don't know exactly which coil config. I should go with. Will the amp be strong enough for these at 1 ohm or should I get dual 2's and run the amp at .5? Thanks in advance for the help... In the enclosure, built by thegreatestpenn, 3.0 net tuned to 30 hertz: The first time on the meter, at the headrest with the A/C on blast: The first time on the TL, I didn't get a pic of my dash score, but it was a 138.4. The second time, with the air off: On music (Flo Rida's Sugar): Trunk class results at the 1st show I went to: Now for thoughts/impressions/comments. First things first, it is really, REALLY, REALLLLLLLY efficient. I'm only giving it about 500-600 watts, judging by my voltage drops. To be doing that kind of score off such little power makes me…
