hey guys, i am currently in line for the free enclosure deal with audibel customs. i have decided to go with the lethal injection. first question, if i got a AQ1200d and wired the sub at 2ohms, would the 870rms watts be too much for the rated 600watts? i want a daily set up where i can pound for 20-30min without having to worry about toasting my sub. i could wire it to 4ohms for 570watts rms if the 2ohm load is too much for a daily set up. im open for other amps in the same price range ($250). second question.....i am planning on getting a single 12' and putting it in close to maximum specs as far as size goes (anywhere from 2.25 to 2.5). i have been playing around …

I'm having some problems deciding on my next sub stage. I currently have an 05 RE XXX15 and an extra motor that will be rebuilt soon to match. I was gonna do these in 8cuft@30hz w/100sqin of port, in the trunk of my car on 3k, in a sub up/port side configuration. I just got offered a pretty decent deal on a 21" Warden, and it's got me thinking. Could the Warden be as loud on the same power? I'm running either option in same enclosure, but the Warden would have a bit higher tuning (33-36hz). Are these even musical? I know they will play music and will be no match for the 05 XXX's in sq, but will they sound decent doing it?

I heard that as a rule of thumb, the port area should be about half of what the cone area in the box is. Is this a correct statement? Just seems like a lot of port to me. The box will be around 20 cubes after sub/port displacement, most likely a sub up port back setup. I will be using 2 DP 21"s on 4 JL 1000/1v2's in an 03 Expedition. Wanting to tune between 30 and 32 Hz.

I'm trying to do a budget build for my truck and am very interested in the 10" 187's. I've got a couple of questions about them. 1) What is the actual ohm load/number of voice coils? According the IA's website, under "187 Series" it states 6 ohm, but under "Recommended Enclosures" it states dual 2 ohm. SSA's website says dual 4 ohm. 2) How much power will they actually take? I know they are rated at 300 watts, but I read a review (not sure where but I'll try and find it) that says they will easily take double their RMS. Well, it is here and I'd say it was WELL worth the wait. Had a tiny scare just looking at the box because it had a slight lean to it. But it was in the very best condition that I have ever seen a UPS box delivered. I can honestly say that I have never been more impressed by the craftsmanship of a single sub than I am with this one. This thing is a monster at 60lbs and is only a 12. I have an amp to put on it but by judging by the stiffness of it, lol, I dont know how it's going to be able to move this thing. Here is a little system I hooked up for a friend of mine.. 1965 VW Beetle Kenwood Excelon KDC-X692 2 Kenwood 6.5" 3-way coaxials in custom kick panels (forgot to take pics) 2 tweeters (already installed, sounded ok so I left em) 10" Incriminator Audio 187 in 2 cubes @ 35 hz (custom VW logo in plexi window) Hifonics BX1500d @ 2 ohms Future upgraded battery, and hopefully an alternator conversion I think it turned out very nice. Hits the lows in rap songs very well, and also hits all the bass drum kicks perfectly. I played the live acoustic version of Hotel California in it, and was very impressed with both the midrange and the bass kicks in that song.......so anyway, here …

im looking to buy 2 ia subs. i have a ab400.1 and i was wondering which would work best ia sub? i'm going to running 2 ia subs at 0.5 ohms

Hi- So I finally took a video of my set up. It's a Lethal Injection 12" in a 2.5 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 32 hz on a Rockford Fosgate Punch 500-2 amp. Sorry the camera and my filming skills suck lol. Some day a pair of death penalties will be going in.

I know that they rate the dp at 1500 watts but I was told that they can handle close to 2000 daily (if careful) but could a person run close to 3000 for short periods (15-20 seconds). I understand that's not recommended just wondering if its been done and what the results were.

I see the amplifiers are on pre-order for newer models, can't wait to see what ya'll have in store. When can we expect the release of a new Dirt Sheet? Keep up the good work Nick and IA.

any word on when/if its getting released?? im getting my 2 18" MTs reconed soon...then i just need amps...right now i think im gonna run sundown, but IA is a possibility as well, but no 2ch amps to match........

we just got the 20.1 install in a 08 tahoe sunday with stock alt and a second batt. today the ia shut off with just 30min of playing mediocre loud. the arc ks is still playing but no bass. the volt meter show around 14v +/- 2v.

I have 8 15" Dp's and even on low power (1 of 4 amps on 11 volts) I was very impressed. Now that my batteries are here they should come alive. 4 4500's and 18 volt. Love the look of these newer model with the segmented motors

I have 2 new 21" dp's and I have a 88 s10 blazer, I can't fit them behind the back seat. I bought these going to wall my extened cab truck, but have sold the truck since. So do I go with something else or wall the blazer and lose my back seat in it? If I go with anything else it will be IA. And in the $1200 range so I can maybe trade these. I have roughly 10 cubes and want it as loud as I can get it. Unless I just deside to wall it. And I'm trying to keep from doing that if I can just as loud without doing the wall. So waht do you think? Input on subs? Oh I have two 20.1's for power.

DR 12" - Filling the gap from the LI to DP 1000 RMS!

Well currently i have 2 IA DP D2 12's and a 40.1 i am installing soon. I have an oppertunity to pick up a second 40.1 in a trade. My question is would a 40.1 on each DP be to much running each 40.1 at 1ohm?? I am sure each DP will take a 40.1 for burps but what about daily? Thanks!!

Ok, I know IA has been busy so I havent been able to get in contact with them this week. So I was hoping you guys( IA owners) could help out. I am going to rebuild my enclosure this weekend for my two 187 15s. They are running off a AQ 1200d and im getting a comfortable 14.8v to the amp at about half volume. Sense I am running roughly 1200-1400rms I was thinking about making the box 4-5^3ft instead of the recommended 6.0(with only 600rms). and I was going to do anywhere from 60-80" of square port at 36hz so let me know what you think I should do,Thanks.

whats up everyone, i just ordered an incriminator audio death row 12. I was wondering what ported tuning frequency would be best for this. its going to be powered by a sundown sae 1200d, box is roughly 2.5 cubes after displacement. i listen to mainly rap so i would want it to slam lows but still hit every note clean and loud. any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. also if anyone has experience with this sub let me know what you think. Because of popular demand for a BIG woofer like the DP 21 and still be in a decent price range, we are going to release the DR 21 - Dual 1 or Dual 2 ohm coils. YAY!
