I currently have a 12" L7 kicker DVC 4ohm With a 3.75^ 3.0cubic feet at 35hz enclosure. Im loooking into getting a subwoofer that can sound decently loud but CLEAN. The amp i have is a kicker mono amp 08 ZX 750.1. It is 2ohm stable. According to its birth sheet if i can remember correctly, it was putting out 823 rms watts. I was looking into the 12 inch lethal injection or the flat line but not sure their diffrences or what each one of these is ment for, what are your suggestions? I am a noob to this car audio stuff and dont really know what is what. Since i am looking for something that can get decently loud but soun clean. Im planning to go ported not sure how big... n…

I'm trying to do a budget build for my truck and am very interested in the 10" 187's. I've got a couple of questions about them. 1) What is the actual ohm load/number of voice coils? According the IA's website, under "187 Series" it states 6 ohm, but under "Recommended Enclosures" it states dual 2 ohm. SSA's website says dual 4 ohm. 2) How much power will they actually take? I know they are rated at 300 watts, but I read a review (not sure where but I'll try and find it) that says they will easily take double their RMS. After these questions get answered I'll probably have a few more. Dan

both of these look like great subs, both are listed as SQ subs. the biggest difference I can see is power handling. both cost about the same, so that is not a big issue. I will have a memphis audio 1100.1 (1100W x1 @ 1ohm) my guess is that the flatlyne will be a little over worked with that power level. but from a pure SQ aspect, which is better? open to everyones thoughts.

wondering the best place to get a 40.1 repaired, it was randomly going into protect for a little while, i tried to make sure all connections were clean and no wires were crossed and as far as i could tell all was ok(its in a hard to get to spot) well the other day it was pretty much stuck in protect so i shut off the sub out on my head til i could get somewhere to disconnect the remote turn on, guess i waited too long cause it smoked, whole car stinks.... so i need to know if u have a recommended repair person or should i take it to a shop in town that has repaired other amps of mine in the past. this was depressing. when it warms up a little i will pull it out and see if…

whats up everyone, i just ordered an incriminator audio death row 12. I was wondering what ported tuning frequency would be best for this. its going to be powered by a sundown sae 1200d, box is roughly 2.5 cubes after displacement. i listen to mainly rap so i would want it to slam lows but still hit every note clean and loud. any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. also if anyone has experience with this sub let me know what you think. Thanks!

I am looking to upgrade subs and i have been looking into both the Death row and death penalty. Im interested in a 15 What would you compare a death penalty to?? And would it work fine in a ported box at 3.5 cu ft or 3.0. And then what does the death row compare to and does it work in a ported box at 3.5 cu ft or even 3.0. Also how do these compare against each other and can they both handle 1500 watts rms??

Alright, so I'm gonna build a wall in my integra with 2x IA DP 15's and 2x Sundown SAZ-3500D's @ 1ohm.... My question is this.... How will the Death Penalties hold up vs. 3,500+ watts rms to each of em? The box for both subs, is gonna be 8.255 NET vol.(after speaker displacement, port displacement , and bracing displacement ..... the port is gonna be 125.375" of port and tuned to 32.60hz.... I'm just curious how these subs will hold up? I'm gonna compete, but I'm also gonna daily drive, ground pound.... let me know what you think, and if you have had experience with this combo of sub vs. power??? Preciate it!!! Cheers

  23. Hey what's up guys. Ive been wanting to get some different subs for awhile now, try something new. They're are alot good options so it's a hard decision. I'm still undecided but I'm pretty sure I want to go with incriminator audio subs. My car is a 1999 ford contour, small trunk, and my seats don't fold down. Right now I have a 4.3 cu ft enclosure, 3 after sub and port displacement. It's a really tight fit, I have to take the back seat off and sliding it in that way. So I'd like to stay around 3-3.5 cu ft enclosure, so I can still access the spare if I have to. I'll be using a sundown sae-1200v2 for power. It's just for daily bass. like everyone else I'm wanting low, loud…

I know that they rate the dp at 1500 watts but I was told that they can handle close to 2000 daily (if careful) but could a person run close to 3000 for short periods (15-20 seconds). I understand that's not recommended just wondering if its been done and what the results were.
