I am looking to upgrade subs and i have been looking into both the Death row and death penalty. Im interested in a 15 What would you compare a death penalty to?? And would it work fine in a ported box at 3.5 cu ft or 3.0. And then what does the death row compare to and does it work in a ported box at 3.5 cu ft or even 3.0. Also how do these compare against each other and can they both handle 1500 watts rms??

So, last night I was looking around and I came across this program and I don't know how accurate it is or anything, but maybe someone will be able to give me a hand. I will be putting 2 12" IA Death Penalty in it. So i don't know if i'm suppose to make the Length longer or what lol. And also, i'm not if i'm suppose to double the woofer displacement either. But heres what I came up with.

I know that they rate the dp at 1500 watts but I was told that they can handle close to 2000 daily (if careful) but could a person run close to 3000 for short periods (15-20 seconds). I understand that's not recommended just wondering if its been done and what the results were.

I'm on the right, and Cricket is to the left. I am running a pair of Warden 21's on 4 IA 20.1's and he is running 4 DP 15's also on 4 IA 20.1's Just in case you were wondering.

im looking to buy 2 ia subs. i have a ab400.1 and i was wondering which would work best ia sub? i'm going to running 2 ia subs at 0.5 ohms

what size fuse do they need and does anyone know the average curret draw at one ohm load probably 1.5-2ohms reactive. Thanks for any help I can get.

Alright, so I'm gonna build a wall in my integra with 2x IA DP 15's and 2x Sundown SAZ-3500D's @ 1ohm.... My question is this.... How will the Death Penalties hold up vs. 3,500+ watts rms to each of em? The box for both subs, is gonna be 8.255 NET vol.(after speaker displacement,port displacement , and bracing displacement ..... the port is gonna be 125.375" of port and tuned to 32.60hz.... I'm just curious how these subs will hold up? I'm gonna compete, but I'm also gonna daily drive, ground pound.... let me know what you think, and if you have had experience with this combo of sub vs. power??? Preciate it!!! Cheers

Thought I would post a few pics of my almost finished Accord IB setup. I need to trim this thing out and clean the wiring up a bit but you get the idea. The idea was to be as stealthy as possible without getting crazy. The sound is unlike anything I have ever heard in a car. Hello to everyone. I just ordered a 15" 187 and i am going to pair it with a sundown sae 1200d. was wondering if I could get some suggestions on what size ported box and tuned to what to build. its going in a jeep grand cherokee so space is not too much of an issue. also any opinions on how it will sound are welcome. My goal is to get the best spl while retaining sound quality. thanks

I've read amazing things about the flatlyne but they seemed a little expensive. I realize there is a sale going on this month. I'm looking for an upgrade from my 10" type r in a sealed box. I couldn't find any specific enclosure recommendations for the flatlynes. I heard that they do really well as infinite baffle but i'm looking for something in a ported box. I figure the extra 2" of cone space, 250 more watts rms and professional built ported enclosure would be a nice upgrade.

OK i have 2 dp dual 2ohm 15's wired to 2ohm final resistance but now they have gotten quieter and i checked my resistance and it has risen to 3.5ohm any ideas on why this would happen

Hey guys, looking for some help or recommendations on what i should do. I have 2 15" LI's coming and after some quick measuring and figuring out, I have enough space behind the seats for a 5.5 cubic ft box. So my question is should i do a slightly smaller ported box than recommended and add polyfill or should i go with the right size sealed enclosure. I've only ran 12s in sealed boxes, so any and all help is appreciated

Here is a little install that Nick and I did today for his cousin.....Haven't had it metered, but by ear its in the upper 140's at a pretty low note (box is tuned to 32hz).
