anyyone have the t/s parameters on the dp 21's

Was looking for something to replace my crossfire vr4000d. But i noticed the 40.1 isn't on their web site? Are they still making it or are they replacing it with something?

i havent seen any box size recommendations or tunning suggestions. anyone happen to know the optimal box size and port tuning for a ported box for these things. i plan on running 4 but if the box size is right i think i can shove 2 more in place of the front passenger side or would it be better just to make one huge box and run 6 of these and have a the port facing the drivers seat? this is going to be my first big spl car. the re xxx just isn't cutting it.

Hi- So I finally took a video of my set up. It's a Lethal Injection 12" in a 2.5 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 32 hz on a Rockford Fosgate Punch 500-2 amp. Sorry the camera and my filming skills suck lol. Some day a pair of death penalties will be going in.

just wondering if the 40.1 will burp off of 4 8 volt trojans @ 1 ohm. i already have the batt so buying something different is out of the question

I heard that as a rule of thumb, the port area should be about half of what the cone area in the box is. Is this a correct statement? Just seems like a lot of port to me. The box will be around 20 cubes after sub/port displacement, most likely a sub up port back setup. I will be using 2 DP 21"s on 4 JL 1000/1v2's in an 03 Expedition. Wanting to tune between 30 and 32 Hz.

I cant wait to get my sub. I am just puzzled that it would take so long to build. Like I said not mad just confused I guess. I'm glad it's going to be a quality product etc. Just weird I ordered it two weeks ago now and still hasnt even been shipped. Just to make it clear not mad because I know it's going to be amazing. Does the DP 21" come with a gasket? Also what are the T/S parameters? I am seriously considering buying one, but I need that info first, thanks! Glenn

I know that they have upgraded the Death Penalty line subwoofers but I do not have the money or power to run them, so I was wondering if they changed or upgraded the Lethal Injections, and if they did what are the specs and how much do the 15's run? What type of upgrades were made etc. I tried to contact IA by phone, they have not answered, and by e-mail, they have not replied. If anyone has any information about these let me know. I know that the last model Lethal Injection subs were very good for the midline subs and I assumed that if they upgraded the DP line they might have also upgraded the LI line, if so I am highly considering them, I was considering them anyway, b…

New to this Forum,tryin to get a lil help or info. I'm looking for a simple vented box design for a IA DEATH ROW 15"....if anyone has built one before I was lookin for the measurement layouts for the enclosure and the vent if possible. pics appreciated..thnx

David, you are like a Robot when you recone woofers bro. I will be getting ahold of you guys shortly for recones. Here is a pic of 2 of the coils .. NOTE NOTE, these are my fault, Very effecient 6th order but it would not allow the woofers to cool as needed. Doubling the power did not help much except add alot of un wanted heat. Nick- Do you know of any shops in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area that can repair a 20.1 amp? I would prefer to send it to you as no one knows them better than you. I sent you a few emails but just in case you didn't get them can you reply back to brandon.nicholson(at)dot(dot)gov. I'm not for sure what happened this time. It looks as if the power supply may have went out again as the same pieces on the outside edge are burnt. Before I installed the amp this time I had all the wiring re-done professionally. I'm dying without my baby lol. Bass is my Anti-Drug lol. I just received my tax check so repair money is sitting and waiting. Thanks

How much are the IA20.1 and the IA40.1? Where to buy from?

Hi- I'm getting new subs for my daily driver next summer, most like 2 dp's (not sure which size yet). I am considering either 2 sundown 1500d's or 1 sundown 3000d. I have a 120 amp alt, a D34/78 optima in the front, a bat cap 400 in the back, and the big three done in 0 awg. I want to keep the same alt, how many/what type of batteries would I need? Thanks
