Well you may have seen my for sale thread on caraudio.com, i am getting out of car audio for a while. Just selling my amp and sub/box. Too much weight and shit keeps breaking inside my car, just had my hatch fixed by the dealer cause something got jammed, thank god for factory warranty. So enjoy, equipment is in my sig. I had never heare of IA until I came across these forums. I am very interested in the DP or Warden 21 but I have a few questions. The best sub that I can buy locally is an Orion HCCA 15.2. It looks pretty bad ass but obvioussly has no where near the cone area of the 21". The last system I had was a DD9515 with a Earthquake D3. Will the DP 21" be enough to easily eclipse the DD9515 and/or the Orion? Or do I need to go up to the Warden? Current amp is a Crunch Groundpounder 3000 pro. Although it isnt my focus the orion has 4" exursion. What is the Excursion on the DP 21? I have 9 Cubes available for the box. Purpose is a rediculous daily driver/demo. Also are there options …

Hi guys, I have 2 IA Sub. One Lethal Injection and a Death Row Series. I am trying to build a new enclosure for my Death Row Series. However, I can't seem to find the T/S Parameters for this sub. I badly need them for my enclosure design. The website does not have this info. Can any of you guys help me on this? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I took some dimensions of my trunk and figured out some dimensions for a box that would be roughly 5.2 cubes when done, not including displacement from woofers, or port. I just have some questions about the actual port. Does the port volume also contribute to the overall volume of the box? Is it better to have a wider port or a taller port, assuming im using a slot port? The specs on the forum say i should have 20 to 30 inches of port, but if i make the port 2" by 15" tuned to 32hz it says i only need a total of 11", so how should i make the port? Alright.... here's the deal. I got an IA 20.1 off of the ca.com forums. When I get it it has the following problems, The problem is its randomly going into protect. I resoldered the piece that was disconnected above, I'm assuming it was from the power supply. It doesn't do it often, and it clicks out of protect within about 10 seconds. Is this something that you can fix???

Well I just got my recones an baskets today for my soon to be DP 21's. This will be my first time doing a recone and I'm very eager to do it but a couple things I need help on. I emailed nick but I didn't know with him being at the CES deal if he would get back to me before next week. My first question is there are 6 little black plastic deals that I am not sure what I do with them? the are like hard plastic tubes. about a 1/4" long maybe shorter. My second question is what do I use for a tool to gap the voice coil when I put the recone into the basket? ok i just got a 40.1 used and I powered it up with no rca's and no load power light.so i hook up rca's and volt meter to gain match and it is in protect. so i unhook everything drain the caps with test light hook it back up and still in protect.then i turn the gain and notice when you wiggle the gain the power light come's on.so i hook up the multi and the amp has output voltage with the protect light on. so my question is is this amp in protect or is it working? should there be a out put voltage with it in protect? my other 40.1 has the same voltage as the one with the protect light. has anyone else seen this problem? i have the amps stacked with carpet between th…

Sooo... I was thinking about getting a Nightshade 12, but I see that they are sold out of the dual 2 models. My next choice after that is a DP 12. First off, would 1500W be enough for this sub on a daily basis? I have a US Amps Merlin MD2.D, and I'm not looking to compete or anything, just enough power to get the most out of the sub as a daily driver. Second, are there T/S params available for the DP? One of the things I like about the Nightshade is that it works well in small (1.5 cuft) boxes. Would this be too small for a DP, or would I need more like 2-3 cubes? Ok someone recommended me to look into the IA DP subs because I am looking for something that will handle 2k rms daily and have the ability to play low. My enclosure is tuned to 27~28hz and that's the tuning frequency that I like so how well will the DP's handle this? The enclosure is 8 cuft. thanks

I just checked out the website and there's alot of info left out. I was looking at the subs and alot of the specs are missing and there are no box suggestions either, just for some of the 12s. The Death Row and Flatline series look cool. Are they power hungry or efficient? What's the excursion on those subs? I have a ported box, it's 3.5 cubes tuned to 34hz and the amp I have is the JBL 1200.II (puts out 1100 watts at 2 ohms). Would that be proper for either or those series of subs?

Hello, I have 2 21" Wardens fresh out the box but with no amps. I thinking 2 saz-3500d's for these beasts but what would you think? maybe 4500d's or would that be to powerful? my goals are to make them hit as hard as they can with out damaging them and prevent clipping. my setup is poineer double din, 8 6.5 rockford T265's mids and 10 rockford aluminum tweeters for highs. under the hood i got 1 yellow top- 2 iraggi 350 amp alt. , in the back i got 3 kinetik hc3800's and my electrical is the big 3 upgrade with all stringer wires. and all this is in an 2006 escalade. sry i dnt have pics im at work right now. but what amps would you run with that setup if it was you?
