This truck with this setup made its debut at Scrapin the Coast in Biloxi. We started on this truck on the friday before STC, and finished it thursday night at 11 and left for biloxi at noon on friday. We werent sure if it would make it but we got it done. I have 4.45^ft3 to work with,before port displacement, I am going to invert the subs. I only have 800rms. I have a single Re SE 12 in 2.5 slot port 35hz now, an its just not loud enough. I was either going to get two 187 12s with a single 6 or 8" round port, or one Lethal injection 15 and a single 6 or 8" port..... This is going into the trunk of my car, and surprisingly it is louder with the sub and port firing into the cabin(with the seats down). what do you think will get the loudest. This is just a daily driver, roughly 34-37hz will be the tuning and has anyone mess with the Hifonics square subs, are they of any quality. Im just worried that using an 8" port will tak…

well i blew my sub a while ago. finally got it out and checked it out. the spiders managed to break. im not sure how they gave out before the suspension did. but they snapped on both sides just before they went to the cone.

I am getting 2 Lethal Injection 12s and I was just wondering how much clean power they can actually take? I know they can take more than 600 rms with a 3 inch coil.

I know how most people feel about pre-fab boxes (especially ported boxes). I usually like to build my own boxes, but did not have time/tools (just moved). I am lazy and wanted more output from my sub, so I just bought this one. I know 'you get what you paid for', but for the price, I could not complain. I have seen alot of prefabs in the store, and this one does not look like one of those cheesy generic one. When I received it, I was pleased with the build..everything looked solid and well built. I don't think its blown because it doesn't do anything at all no noise. I checked my amp with my other subs and it works fine..I was only putting ~1200 rms to it so I don't see how anything could have went wrong.. I had my 2 ohm sub wired down to 1 ohm on the amp.

I recently purchased a 21" Warden and a Saz 3500. The vehicle it will be going in is a 97 Blazer. The box my dad drew up last night was 8.5 cubes after port displacement. With 120 sqaure inches of port. It will be ran at two ohms for daily and .5 for when I am at a show. I compete in meca. My dad is going to build my box. I am posting this here because I would like your honest opinions good or bad criticism and if you would like to help that's great we will try anything. I currently have the amp and I will be picking the sub up saturday.

I was looking at the judge and I seen that it was supposed to be a spl but i was wondering if anyone has tested it in a low tuned box and if it performed well in a low tuned box

So i listen to daily jeezy to daily incubus, my box is 1.8 per sub and tuned to 32hz. I purchased two 12" Flatlynes and im just not real impressed, the first one blew to the coils the first day and the second a few moments ago. My gains are set real conservatively, the amplifier a kicker sx1250.1 is set to 2v range and 6.0 db adjustment with everything eq wise totally flat. I was told it was my error for my gains but no other sub i have had has a problem with amp. box, tuning, etc. Maybe i was wrong in believing the hype that this sub sounded great had good output and killed low notes.
