like the title says. i had my first experience with IA today. i bought a IA flatlyne 15 in a 4.0CF box ported and wow. i was told it was a SQ sub but man does it get loud. i gave $170 for the sub and box. and so far, im extreamly happy with my purchase. iv never heard a sub that has the SQ of this. now it dont get as loud as my hcca, but this sub has both worlds (SQ and spl). now if i can find another dual 4ohm 15 for cheap ill do a wall in my ranger. i give 5 stars to the folks at IA for making such a great sub. only thing i can find wrong, is that it doesnt say what ohm the sub is on the back. the guy i bought it off of doesnt know anything about subs and told me …

Guess ill use the newbie list to make this as clean as possible, 1.Subs, Six 10" series 187. 2. Vehicle, backseat of a 1996 ford mustang. 3. Amp, Audiopipe 3001.d 4. battery's, one kinetic 600, and one kinetic 2400 5. electrical, Alll 0 gauge, Big three. 6. had two fusion 15's ported at around 38hertz, sounded alright, wouldn't mind deeper lows. 7. im having a wall built for the backseat. a square common port in the center with three on top and three on the bottom. If anyone has any advice on what the box should be ported to, i was thinking around 33-35, my goal for getting all my systems was to be able to do a hairtrick, and since then have been unable to, so if anyon…

Hey guys, looking for some help or recommendations on what i should do. I have 2 15" LI's coming and after some quick measuring and figuring out, I have enough space behind the seats for a 5.5 cubic ft box. So my question is should i do a slightly smaller ported box than recommended and add polyfill or should i go with the right size sealed enclosure. I've only ran 12s in sealed boxes, so any and all help is appreciated

I have power limitations, just 400wrms via Soundtream Rubicon 400.1 CEA compliant. I friend of mine told me that with that power, is safer to tune the box 35hz. Thats the lowest he could go with the 187 due to the 2" vc. So I want to know how big the box could be for 1 12" 187 ported and the tuning.

I'm looking at running 4 21" Wardens for my next build, but when looking at the info provided on both lines, the only difference is the Neo motor. While I know that the NEOs can produce a stronger flux, for the soft parts listed, the triple stack on the DP will push it to the max. Also, the Warden is only 2lbs lighter than the DP , so I don't see a reason to spend the extra 400 per sub on the Warden. So what(if any) underlying features am I missing? Will I see a gain running the Wardens over the DPs and why. Again, all i'm going off of is the info provided on the site.

Hey guys today at the show in Murfreesboro Tn. I was given the first phat 21 in Meca history. I hit a 147 flat at 46 htz and a 143.7 at 36 htz. We downsized the box and tuned it lower for more of a daily use. My dad is going to build a new box this week and its going to be bigger and tuned higher. Its going to be geared more towards burps. The score has gone done from the original 149.6 we were hitting at the start of our adventure with this massive sub. We should get hopefully get the magical 150 mark with this new box and some testing. Equipment wise I am running a 21 inch warden in 7.5 cubes tuned at 36 htz and a Sundown Audio saz 3500. I just wanted to thank Nick and …

This is a project I have been working on for some time now and it will continue until everything is the way I like it. There is a lot that is subject to change and will change in the upcoming weeks. This will be a permanent setup but it will only be in for a short while. I still have a lot to do to the interior so some things will be out of place. I have part of the big3 done already and I have the materials to finish it. I have a couple of batts for now and they should hold me until I either upgrade or find another amp like I already have. I will also be upgrading my batts in the future. I hope you enjoy.

both of these look like great subs, both are listed as SQ subs. the biggest difference I can see is power handling. both cost about the same, so that is not a big issue. I will have a memphis audio 1100.1 (1100W x1 @ 1ohm) my guess is that the flatlyne will be a little over worked with that power level. but from a pure SQ aspect, which is better? open to everyones thoughts.

I want to know if anyone has heard one in a sealed setup..if so..what box size/power/how it sounded? The recommended enclosure ranges from 1-1.4 cu ft. I just bought 2 flatlynes, and can't decide what box to get. 1. Because I already have a LI in a 1.447 cu ft (1.32 after displacement), and was going to use that box..and order another 1.447 cu ft box to match it. Or 2.Buy a smaller dual box (2 chambers 1.1 cu ft per chamber) box. I am a basshead and love low, extended bass (wish I can go ported!), and was thinking about just getting another 1.447 box. Any pros or cons for the 1.1 box vs the 1.4?
