I know this is a dumb question, ive never claimed to be smart. When it comes to subs ive always been a pay and play kinda guy. I want to learn more about car audio and how to do all of it. So ive recently started building sealed boxes. The three ive built turned out really good in my opinion. The problem I have now is, im building a box for myself and i want to port it. I have 2 LI 12's. Any advice anyone could or would give is greatly appreciated. The specs for an LI 12 is on average 2.00 cubes, 30 inches of port and tuned to 28-35. OK, guys. I have a about one more sub to sell and i am getting my first IA subs. Here is what i have. I am going to put about 10kw total . ( i will leave the brand out to avoid the drama of what amp is louder and if they really do that power. ) I have a Great friend selling 4 DP 18"s that i can buy, if i buy those, he is getting 4 - 18" wardens from Nick. (if nick sees this, i am sure he knows who it is.) OR for about the same price, i can pick up a pair of wardens. If i do the wardens, i might be 2-12s or 2-18s or 2-21s. if i do the 12s, its for SB2 with usaci. if i do the 18s or 21s, i am shooting for a 4th order if that works with the DPs or big wardens. …

this amp is by far my worst enemy because of it I need to get a new head unit or cd changer it has so much power I can't get a good 30sec. with out my hu skipping like mad. THANKS IA

i have an IA40.1 and 2 15" DP's,, i can wire them at 1 ohm or even a quarter ohm,, and still when the music starts to hit ,, it says im runnin at 5 to 6 ohms.. what am i doing wrong? or is that normal??

So i have a sub on the way and am needing some box design help. I have a 18" death penalty that will be powered by a ppi bk1800.1d. I listen to mainly rap music with occasional nod to korn rob zombie and such and the wife makes me listen to country on rare occasion. Will be going in a 2008 gmc envoy. I know ppl tend to get tired of the old this or that threads but a I am really getting ready to step to the plate. I am walling my 92 Honda Civic Sedan and have prob 15 cubes net. Should I run 3 15" Incriminator Audio Leathal Injections, or 2 18" death rows? Power will be between 2500- 3000 watts? Thank you guys for your suggestions

ok so i bought 3 LI 12s from 07merc at the end of april and they arrive to me on may 5th in flawless shape. nothing was cracked, scratched, or broken from shipping everything was A1. so i decide to put two of them in a sealed box i had layin around tell i got done with a new ported box for the three of them. i was running them on my rsd1200@2ohms roughly 600w a piece and the box was on the small side but it sounded damn good and got louder than i had expected. so before i could build a new box for myself somebody wants to buy them from me so i pull the box out and while im carrying it i kinda noticed a little knocking in the bottom of the box as i was walking but i figure…

I am confused on the actual output of the IA line of subs since I have never heard any of them. What are the 187, LI, & DP subs comparable to? I think the LI would suit be best. I want 2 to be run off a AQ1200D. I want the 15" model and will be put into maximum size enclosure (~8cuft) tuned to 33-33hz in an Explorer. Its early & put what I thought would be most useful. I am looking for just daily spl (mid to upper 140s). SQ not as big of a priority of mines right now. Any more info needed?

Found out today the 21's bang. My shop is in the middle of 140 acres. My prperty line is literarly one third of a mile 360 degrees around my shop. (By they way I am the only authorized Louisiana dealer for IA). But I guess someone was disturbed. I already had the back seats out of my crewmax tundra making molds for a fiberglass enclosure so I figured I would test out a 21. It is in a 10 cubic foot enclosure, 160 inches of port tuned to 34 hz, with 2000 watts on it. I have not metered it yet, was actually setting the mic when the cop drove up. But it is louder than a Kicker solox 18. And I am not bias because I am also an autthorized Kicker dealer as well. I will g…

i recently purchased 2 15" incriminator lethal injections which say they only take 600 watts rms......just wondering if this is true or not because im lookin to upgrade to a bigger amp but dont want to overpower them, i currently have a hifonics 1600 watt brutus ran at 1 ohm to them with all stock electrical. whats the best amp for me? considering the sundown saz-1500d which is supposed to put out around 1900 at 14 volts thanks oh and also what battery should i put in the rear??

I am planning on buying an 18" IA Death Penalty and putting it in a box I made that is: 45" width 15" depth 25" height 6" port tuned at 29hz Throwing a ZX1000.1 amp on it until I upgrade to a different one. What you all think? its in the back of a toyota corolla 97' tore my back seat out for my old build and decided it was time to get my first 18" sub.
