I know... I have been slacking with build logs. Here is another one I did sometime back in Feb. Pretty straight forward flared port box.

First off hello everyone. I have been browsing the forums for a while, and i really never post. I guess got a little too excited and sent payment for an enclosure before discussing it on here. haha the enclosure was for two alpine alpine swr-1222d's in a 4 cube enclosure @ 32 Hz. my question is, what would you (or anyone else) recommend for tuning. is 32 good enough for getting 'loud' and somewhat low on music? i also plan on firing towards the cabin and sealing it from the rest of the trunk. kind of like this A local shop quoted me ~$250, and they said the enclosure would sound better facing the rear? im not too sure about that one. what do you think? here's a lil…

He sent me the dimensions for the design, and its for a trio of Sundown E8's I believe. Straight forward design here, so here are the pics... Ill have it finished Tuesday I believe.

I am just curious to know what the difference between flared and standard slot ported boxes. Obviously outside of appearance is there any performance difference???? I am looking for a nice ported enclosure for my 12" AA Havoc.

This will be the enclosure offered with the package deal. I will get some shots of the drivers installed in this once I get it all completed. Box is 4.25 cubes @ 32 hz. Standard slot port, double baffle and charcoal carpet, on this one.

I am looking to have a design built for my future system. I am buying 2 Digital Designs 9518g's for my Hummer H2 (SUV) The max dimensions I have to work with are 27 length, 34 height, and 46 width. I want it to be musical but at the same type move a LOT of air. If possible, id like to be able to run a 149.9 in bass race with it but I am not willing to sacrifice quality to make it sound like a fart box. I will be powering them with 5k watts. Please PM me if you think you can do it..

This is a pretty straight forward ported enclosure. We will have to bend the ports 90* to get the proper length. Fitment will be VERY tight, so Chris is running all the numbers again to guarantee clearance on everything. I could have swore I took more pics than this, but this is all thats on the camera. Ill grab some more once I get the holes and everything cut.

Bj, I just sent you an email , but I figured I'd post a topic on here as well. Great work! I am looking for something custom and small that will fit in my trunk and take up as little room as possible. I have seen people with small enclosure to the right or left of the trunk that looked pretty cool, but I am open to anything. I'd like it carpeted black as well. Please let me know what you need from me as far as measurements, in order to give me a price quote. Thanks man.

I'm needing some box plans for a upcoming build, and I'm hoping you could make some for me, or lead me to someone that can make a set. But, I'm wanting to make a rear loaded folding horn for a single SS 12" RL-p. Is that something you can pull off for me?

Alright Im in a bit of a dilema. I cant for the life of me find someone to build me a GOOD ported box for a 1993 camaro. Im wanting to get 2 fi BL 12's and a ported box made for their specs...but I can only find prefab boxes and their still just SEALED.... So I got reffed to you guys and im hoping you can help me out here. I am in need of i box. I'm going to purchase 3 kicker CVX 15's and i want a quote on a box I had a guy eyeball me a design and send it to me it's a really good description of what i want im not sure if the specs are correct because he just eyeballed it my car is a 1994 grand marquis and i measured my trunk its 3ft 4in in length also 4ft 9in in length if the design is like the one in the pictures below it's roughly 1ft 11in from bottom of trunk to the top and roughly the same in width from back to front.

OK im looking for a box that will hold 2 diamond audio D3-12s. Im looking for something that will wound good and also get fairly loud. The subs will be powered by a Massive P1000.1 amplifier. I was thinking of making an amp rack that would mount on the top of the Box if thats possible. If ported i was hoping for a slot port at around 33hz. Thanks for the help guys

I dont recall the specs off the top of my head. Maybe he will swing in with them. Not a regular ole' ported box. I like getting these kind of builds sometimes. Nice to change it up a little every now and again.

Hey bj i am looking at putting a fully loaded 10" FI BL in my standard cab silverado 2000 - 2006 bodystyle. The dimensions i would have would be around 40.0"W x 15.5"H x 7.5"D. It would also have to be a wedge type enclosure because it is going behind the seats. Something like this but 1 10" sub and ported to around 32-34 hz is what i was thinking. Also, what are the advantages/disadvantages to running aero ports vs slot ports. I was thinking of running 1 or 2 aero ports out the top of the box. Please let me know if you have any suggestions about the port, tuning, or anything else. Edit: Forgot to mention i am going to be running a SAE-1000D to it. What would you reco…

Hey BJ, I am in need of a box. I bought two JL Audio 8w7's to go into my 2006 Mustang. Not sure if I want sealed of ported... SQ is the only goal. Can you do amp racks? I will have three Sundown SAX-125.2 amps, two of which will power the subs. Everything needs to be carpeted, and ideally I'd like some easy and fast way to disconnect and carry these out of the trunk. Something like handles or something? What can you, or other forum members, suggest?

BJ I am going to go to freight harbor and buy a router!! Can you give me some advice on what kind you use and what jig? I know you are much more skilled and I'm sure you have some great equipment... but I have never had/used a router and could you PLEZ give me some advice on what I need? Router/Bitz/Jig...
