This enclosure is not going to be like most I have done lately. We are insetting the front panels instead of the sides. He is wanting the front painted white and the port black. Will also be wrapped in black carpet. Here is the start:

Finally! I have had these panels cut and painted for well over a month now, just finally finding a little time to get it finished so we can get the Icon Packages up on the site with some pics. This will be the "standard" enclosure that will be offered with the SSA/FC combo.

Specs on it are 2.35 cubes @ 34 hz. This one will be left bare and will use a 4" PSP for the port. Im not sure on the year of Mustang this is for, but I believe it might be a mid 90's.

He is going to be driving through the area this holiday weekend, so he is going to be swinging by the shop and picking it up. I believe the specs were 2.5 @ 32 hz, maybe. He wanted a pair of 3" aeros on the box as well. I had to modify the mounting flange of the ports a little. The box was only 12" tall, and each port was 6.25" wide. What I came up with, I think will be pretty cool. I will save that for later on though. Onto the pics...

This enclosure is a little different than most I do. It features a center port. Also will be double baffled and get covered in black carpet.

I believe the specs were 1.4 cubes per sub, and the customer wanted separate chambers. Pretty straight forward build here. Actually got the entire box assembled, just didnt take any extra pics. Ready to be sanded and covered with carpet.

I have had these on my camera for over a month now. Was just going to delete them, but decided I would post them up, just for the heck of it. And that one that doesn't quite resemble a sub box, well it was a beer pong table for a friend's house. LOL

5.75cf @ 38Hz for a AQ HDC318 Only difference that was made from the design was that he decided to level the floor himself, so the extra stuff you see on the bottom of the enclosure was omitted. This box was also left bare.

He had Pete do the design from TTB, but unfortunately it didnt quite fit my build style. So Chris re-did the design, keeping the internal dims and everything exact, just changed the orientation of the panels to fit our style a little better. Not exactly sure whats going in the enclosure, or what it is going in. It will be two mirrored enclosures, that he will be bolting together once he gets them in his vehicle. I got working hard this weekend, and didnt take too many pics. As we set now, both enclosures are completely built, and will bet getting sanded, and ports painted tomorrow. From there, carpet soon. Onto the pics...

Heres what happened. I sold the Q's and enclosure yesterday to the guy. It sounded damn nice in his jeep too. He just bought the jeep last Thursday btw. He said he went to sleep and got woke up to see this.... The Q's baskets sitting in the enclosure... The amp is leaning against the enclosure... I guess the firefighters said that the fire started from a faulty rear dome light. I feel so bad for him. The amp was actually mine. I let him borrow it until his AQ2200d gets here on the 10th. He's giving me the AQ2200d when it gets here. I feel so bad for the guy. Heres the original thread. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/491237.html

This is a fairly straight forward slot ported box. It will also feature a plexi window on the top, that will be engraved "SOU". The CNC part is finished, but no pics of it, due to the fact I dont want to take off the protective paper yet. The finish will be black carpet, with the inside of the box getting white paint. He is possibly going to be adding LEDs inside as well.

Mark and Aaron let me join the SSA team. They are allowing me to be a "ICON/Enclosure" dealer. Basically offering their drivers, in my boxes, and saving the customer quite a bit of money. More info will be posted on that, if the interest is there, and of course if its OK with the SSA fellas. This box, is 4.25 cubes @ 32 hz for a pair of 12" ICONS. It will be the "standard" enclosure in the dual 12 ICON package. Here are the pics from the build-up...

Here is 2 of 2. Enjoy.... This box is off to a slow start.... if you dont know what project Im talking about, here is a thread about it http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282423 Got started on this box Friday, cutting all the panels, except the bracing. Spent a little time working on the dual flare, and just couldnt get it to work. I went back to the drawing board, and tonight, got the correct spacing on the kerfs. Hopefully Chris will be able to redesign the flares with the new info. But here is a couple pics of what I have thus far. This should be a pretty cool build in the end....

Some of you may have seen the other thread about this box... http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282794 But basically, its underway now. Got the panels cut, port areas painted, and sketched out the brace. More pics will come in the coming days.....
