Hi, I am kind of new to the car audio sound systems industry and I'm urgently looking for some advice. Could someone please advise me on what is a decent car audio sound system for competitions that I can get a reading of about 155-165 db(decibels)?

anyone on teamssaudio wanting their own "[email protected]" let me know, i'll set it up. Again, this is for team members only. You can have what ever you want for a [email protected] set up. I can do a POP3 account where you down load your own info a program like window's mail, thunderbird etc... or a forwarding account and have your new address forward any mail to your existing email account.

So my name is Josh LaFountain, and I drive 100% stock. Crazy I know, but after spending 4 years burping competition SPL setups in a Ranger, I had to take a leave from the hobby for college (it isn't cheap) but now I'm back. I drive a 100% stock 2007 Chevy Silverado V8 4dr. and in a few weeks I'll be driving from Baton Rouge, LA to Phoenix (1496 miles!) where me and my brother Mark with do a complete audio overhaul. The idea is to build a ground pounder from scratch, going big the first time (#1 piece of advice I can offer to people starting the hobby). Josh White, is the only SSA employee to date, and has been building this tahoe for a few months, the following video is the first time playing it, it's on about 1/3rd power in the video. I'll post up build photos shortly to go along with it... Josh White from SSA just got the tahoe up and running on low power. We are very pleased with the results so far. Breaks a 150db @ 26hz! Plays the lows with authority.
