Please do take a moment to read this topic and not just look at the pictures, as some of the photos will not make sense if you skip over what I try to say. I am few days behind on getting this pictures posted up, but life and all that goes with it has been in the way. Anyway, a MASSIVE thank you goes out to Don at http://www.Sounddeadenershowdown.com. I had initially hoped to use the SDS product line on the little Mazda with Don's guidance, but he went far and away above the call of duty and took 3, yes 3, very long work days out of his schedule to help me along the way. This was an excellent learning experience for me in terms of the physics of how the acoustics effe…

  5. Cory and I where sitting around thinking of some funny stuff to come up with our upcoming video's at competitions. We came up with a few funny ending lines that will be spoken out and typed on screen as our TeamSSA disclaimer. Read through what we have, then perhaps think a few funny things yourselves, and we'll add them if they are good enough. Here we go... #1. Team SSA is not responsible for you blowing up your equipment while trying to keep pace with Team SSA. #2. Team SSA is not responsible for your girlfriend dumping you for another and/or multiple Team SSA members. #3. Team SSA does not supply kleenex, so please bring your own. #4. I just started on the new design for my build. There's a few new details like new stainless accents, completely new enclosure design, and a new Mechman H/O alternator. Here's a few pix of what I've done so far: New bracket to hold the inline fuse under the hood. (10ga. 304 stainless steel) New front battery top strap. (10ga. 304 stainless steel) This could only mean one thing............. Common chamber for 2~15" Icon D1 - 8cf. @ 27hz I'll keep chugging away (weather permitting) and snappin' pix as I go. It's supposed to rain all weekend here so very little will happen in the next few days. The alternator should be here next week sometime.

I am finally starting my new build on my Dodge Durango. I almost have all the equipment in. Just waiting on the new battery and some wire. The ride: The wheels: Anella Diamond II Suv 22" My vehicle has a third row (I never use it) which I will be removing to create a false floor for battery and wire storage. Third row removed: There is a storage place in the back of the vehicle where my amps can fit perfectly into: Amps: MB Quart DSC 1500.1 MB Quart DSC 480.4 running Diamond D6 components right now until I purchase some Bravox components These amps have always worked well for me. They look nice next to each other because they are in the same case and are the same si…

So I found a deal on this solid 2005 Cadillac Escalade I could not pass up, and rather then waiting another two years for the body work to be finished on my 2 door Tahoe, I decided in the interest of Bass I transfer all mods from the Tahoe over to the SSAQUALADE. Equipment Will be as follows: IA 80.1 x 2 @ 16V IA 6.4 x 2 EVIL 18" x 6 (this may change depending on my end decision) EVIL 6.5" Mid Bass x (12?) XS Power D1600 x 20 (ish) XS Power D3400 under the hood Mechman E370 x 2 @16V Mechman G240 x 1 @ 12V A whole bunch of wire and other goodies to be added when that time comes.... Pioneer 2300 DVD. SDS products. The Mach5s are crossed over from 60hz up to 2000hz. The LPGs are from 2000hz and up. I can not be more happy with how this pair sounds. They blend very well together. This build is still a work in progress. I have everything except the Miniliths, which are on their way. I will continue to add pictures and updates as work is completed. Some starting pictures. Awesome showing from the Geo, Jose in the Explorer and Justin in the demo'ing beast Blazer. Outstanding work by all our competitors. 18. So Gabriel has decided to join forces with SSA and do this build after the current shop that built his current set up has refused to make changes to current set up to keep him happy. So we are going to tear this down and rebuild it with XCON 12's in our spare time to get this to be one loud set up. Here's some pics of the car at the last show, then the tear down pictures...

Gonna make a few excellent additions to the team here as soon as they order their equipment, shouldn't be to long on that. The 300C we are hoping to squeeze two XCON 12's into and the Scion 3 Dcon 12's! Both these cars we are proud to add to the team as we are sure they will be an instrumental part of spreading the gossip of SSA. Here's some pics of their rides. Scion XA

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a meet. Yes this would be for people in Arizona because I'm sure you don't want to drive all the way down from california or where ever. Anyways, I wanted to get a grasp on what attention and interest people would have in doing this. If enough people want to, we could totally organize something and get together. Let me know what you guys think!

Figured I would get this started for him because I just finished up his sub box for the new GCON. So far we have installed a sony cd player and 4 Kicker 6.5's in the doors. The amps are picked out, but not purchased yet. He has been working hard to earn money to make these purchases, but as a good uncle I do not let him spend all of his money on audio equipment. Audio is fun, but gas and van maintenance are first. I snapped some pictures of the box as I was building it. Box is 22x21x18 which should be right around 3.64 cubes after sub displacment. We may have to add some polyfill to dampen, we will see at a later time.

Hey guys got a new car the other day sadly the old xwagon is gone. Time for a new build tho. I'll be putting 1 xcon 18 in for now till I see what I'm looking for and what I can fit. It's a hatchback. I just got my hu installed today. Incriminators upfront and my crescendo 6s in the back. Same amps ap3k and cerwin4x4. I'd like to either try and fit 1-2 15s in there if I can't get my 18s in but if not its whatever. I'll either keep 1 18 and go bigger driver or go with 2 xcon 15s ill see what is what after everything gets done.
