Hay what up Q I email you just a head's up

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but mine still look brand new. I've seen a few guys complain about the leads. I still have the original cones. Even after multiple multiple multiple 160+ burps. I've yet to find a problem. Maybe I know when to turn the volume down, maybe because my amps are set clean, maybe I don't have enough power. It's funny though because after hearing about these issues others were having, I got scared and ordered a spare recone. Still new in the box. Thanks Quentin.

I am curious if all parts to build a complete 18" sub can be purchased through you, including motors? I was thinking it could help me with my over all build wait time. I've seen the thread with near everything short of the motor on 12's & 15's. Thanks Q, looking forward to 4-18's in my rebuild

My first impression, was holy shit these are heavy! I had help, but carrying four of those bastards up to the apartment on the second floor was extremely heavy on the back Lmao. The suspension seems very stiff right now, not 300 pound man can sit on it stiff, but pretty stiff. The assembly seems very well built. No excessive glue, all magnets are aligned, the packaging omg the packaging! Definitely check all corners on that. Coil looks nice and shiny, and the leads seem to be also in top notch shape as well. All in all, everything seems great as far as visual is concerned.

Was thinking of ordering 10" Ethos was needing the physical dimension for these subs. Also needing recommended enclosure sizes for a ported enclosure.

I need help creating a product list for Direct Speaker Supplies to carry. I already have just about everything to recone subwoofers on its way. The problem is I have accounts with just about every distributor you can think of and combined they have tens of thousands of parts. So I'd like to know if there is a special item that you would need. Maybe something no one else carries or they do and it's just too expensive. For example maybe you would like to purchase the really nice high nap carpet I use on my enclosures. Give me a list of what you think would be priority, that must have hard to get item. I'm in the process of making a users manual for the Ethos line. In the process of gathering all the technical information I tend to leave out the obvious. So help me out by listing everything, no matter how obvious, that you would like to see in the users manual. THANKS

Pulled one sub out to use it to test some amplifiers and one of the terminals read 6.2ohms.. So, measured the lead, 1.56ohms. Measured right under the heatshrink where it goes to the terminal, still 1.56ohms. So, i started pushing up and down on the terminal spring and it dropped to 3.0ohms. Did it some more, 2.1ohms. Did it some more, 1.7ohms. Will not go any lower than that. What could be causing this? It will be a while before i have time to test the rest but i may have to tie the main supply wire to the terminal and to the lead after cutting off heat shrink to ensure i get lowest impedance possible.

Just needed to show a few pics of some recent recones that were done on the Ethos. I'll let Quentin give any details if he chooses to, but I put a slight personal touch to them and feel that I'm pretty good at laying down a bead of glue here or there. Plus, I needed a reason to take pics with this LG G3. It has friggin laser aiming.

I've received several emails and PM's on how I create my spider packs. I needed to make some more jigs to keep up with production so I figured I'll show how I do it. The spiders I use do NOT lay flat they must be pressed. This is how they look stacked. This is the bottom portion of the jig. It has cut outs for the spider to lay into along with cut outs for the leads. I put a bead of glue around the outside and the inside diameter of the spider. It doesn't take much just a small bead.
