Argent Audio

  1. As of August 31st Argent Audio will no longer be producing enclosures of any kind! Any thread started before August 31th I will honor, but after that I will be directing interest to other builders. The reason enclosures will be cut from my line is that the KH501 an other subs are in the final stages of testing and I will be focusing all my attention there. Andrew

hello i am wanting a box built for a fully loaded fi btl 12. i have never had a box built for me so i am a newb.ha my deminsions are 46 in length, 14 deep, and really whatever for height because i have a jeep . and i would like it to be as close as fis recommendations as possible .....BTL 12 Ported box we recommend using 1.75-2.5 cubic feet @ 30-35Hz (I personally think that a 32hz tuning is optimal, and has the most output and is still the most musical daily driving). Use 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume....... thanks josh edit.....and i dont know if this matters but i am powring it with a sundownd 1500.1

When the new Icon is released I am going to get either 1 12 or 1 15. I want to try and go ahead and get the box built up soon since I have the money and so I dont have to wait later. I'm not sure how the specs on the new Icon are going to change and if their will be any new features that would change the build of the box, I was wondering what your opinion was on that. I want to try and go with a kerfed port if possible, and if i can fit it I want to go with the 15. I recieved my invoice two weeks ago and paid the same day. I haven't gotten any shipping information and Andrew hasn't responded to any of my messages. I know he's been pretty busy and I'm not mad, just trying to find out when my enclosure will get here. Has anyone had any contact with him lately?
