One of my friends built this just for fun. still need to seal off the wall and a few other minor things. so far he did a 151.0 dB @ headrest at 43hz. today we messed around on my term-lab and he did a 153.2 in the kick with drivers door open. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRkEmKcEFuA

Figured I'd share a few videos of the new box and setup. Decided I'd go ahead and put in my second battery when I put the new box in since I now have room for it.

Figured I would make a video with the note 3 considering it has a pretty decent camera. Turns out it captures vibrations pretty well. Curious to see how the "wave" effect looks on bigger systems. One thing I did notice however was that it doesn't pickup the low low notes very well, that is to be expected though with only 1 12. I was also thinking about tuning the box a bit lower so i could play 20-26 hz with more authority (I listen to a lot of low decaf/DJSNT music), would it make sense to just buy a new 4 inch aero with a shorter length? or would it be worth it to maybe design a 4th order enclosure which may also give the output im looking for? Thanks in advance…

Here is a longer 12 min vid of me messing around with the meter showing scores in the kick, on the dash, sealed, etc etc. Not quite as good as the first day. I may need to top off the batteries or just different temps or whatever.

I ended up not bringing the van even though I was invited to compete. But I ended up riding with a local shop's manager who is also a good friend. We brought the shop truck, that yellow Isuzu in the videos at the top, and I got to demo it all weekend for people. But what you've all be waiting for!! Here is the first video! Featuring out very own, dvalue.

This is a box design for Jimmy Greaves, a Sundown Dealer, and his 2001 Blazer. The box is 13ft^3 tuned to 33hz. Everything is double layered except for the bottom. Please excuse the random black flashes, I'll be trying a new recorder next time to see if it helps any.

Let me know what you think, rate them if you would like. The next 2 may need a few minutes to process, you can watch them in 720p HD if you want. Tried out a dubstep song, it hurt my ears not from the bass, for the highs, too much for me, does not happen with regular songs I play. Thank you for checking them out.

Just thought this a good video of what happens when we get gain happy and want more power than the amp can output. You can see the blue line, that is the amplifier's voltage rail. The yellow sine wave is the output voltage The more we increase the gain (or the input voltage), the higher the output voltage and the lower the rail voltage. Voltage rail will never be stable, because of the design of the power supplies and because of the drop in battery voltage. At some point the peak output voltage will match the rail voltage. That is the maximum output. If we try to increase the gain or apply more input voltage, the output voltage cannot increase (it was equal to the rail v…
