WATCH IN 1080p Today is the first day I have begun to drive my truck daily once again. It has been a few months since I've driven my truck daily. The engine had blew back in April. Replaced the engine, at slamology, overheating issues still exist. Replaced a few things. Then my front tire fell completely off on the way back home from Slamology. Got that fixed. So I made a short video, of my truck playing some DJSNT tunes. I know it's dark, but just take a second to listen to the volume and clarity! Hope you guys enjoy the video. There is a Triple point event this Sunday here in TN where I will be attending my first MECA show.

Retuned gains and EQ. Also adjusted the crossover points a little. Sub is 20-100, mids are 100-6.3k, tweets are 6.3k and up, all on a 24DB slope. Backed all the gains down a little and while I lost a little output, it sounds so much cleaner. The AQ220D seems to be much happier as well. Please leave the Skar bashing for another thread. I know how everyone on this forum feels about the brand, but for the low price, these new line of mids have really impressed me. Taking over double RMS daily and are louder and clearer with the same amount of power than the Lanzar OPTI8's were.

So I purchased a 17 inch long aero off parts express and put in outside of my 2.5 cf box. makes a HUGE difference sound wise in my opinion. It dropped the tuning to about 26hz from 32hz and it peaks around 32 or so now compared to about 40,41 like it did before.

Ok guys here is a short video I did for my friends enclosure I built him. He did the carpeting and paint so shout out to him for that. Any who it is an SSA Xcon on maybe 1000 Watts I believe it is running at 2 ohm a lot of port area tuned down to 32hrz. I've done many enclosures in the past but holy hell does this enclosure/sub setup really dig low. 25hrz drops are no sweat for it.! Figured I would make a video with the note 3 considering it has a pretty decent camera. Turns out it captures vibrations pretty well. Curious to see how the "wave" effect looks on bigger systems. One thing I did notice however was that it doesn't pickup the low low notes very well, that is to be expected though with only 1 12. I was also thinking about tuning the box a bit lower so i could play 20-26 hz with more authority (I listen to a lot of low decaf/DJSNT music), would it make sense to just buy a new 4 inch aero with a shorter length? or would it be worth it to maybe design a 4th order enclosure which may also give the output im looking for? Thanks in advance…
