2 pointsi mean i guess. the last one was over a month ago. if your gonna hate then just GTFO. No Lantz, its true and pointless if your gonna keep finding subs to compare to the Zcon every month. Its a waste of forum space and like I told you before it is not helping anybody out including you. Look at the answers your getting and no one is taking you serious, you wonder why. If the 4-15"s are what you want then get them, if the 15" Zcon is what you want then get it.2 points- Big Secret?

1 pointRight of the bat I can tell you this will take a while since its been going on for a while. The wife already said no so now it has to happen. The couch is ready and the fridge is full. Here is a teaser pic. More to follow soon. Belly of the beast1 point- 2DVC subs 1 ohm load?

1 pointI think you should do a box build dedicated to to the sub and Mike. This^^ will definitely happen. Just have to think of something cool and "different" to do.1 point- Ampless component suggestions
1 pointThen just go to sonicelectronix and read reviews on 6.5 comps and pick a set? x2, your asking a site where 99% of people actually put amps on their interior speakers Lol!1 point- Ampless component suggestions

1 pointI'm in the same boat as Drama here. I don't wanna amp comps. But Id rather have a set of comps than coax. With my HU putting out around 22watts rms 55 peak. Not a lot for a bad ass set of comps. But for a decent set i don't see the problem with not having an amp. Id love to have a relatively decent answer to this question of opinion on comps on HU power. Because i do would love to buy a set of comps. And maybe one day grow the balls to amp my speakers. But i def don't want to right now.1 point- 4 re audio se 15's or 1 zcon 15?
1 pointIf you have the room, get an 18" Zcon and that's it. If you want to play, get the 4 RE. I'm pretty sure you will want to sell them later. and may finally get a Zcon ! There are so much woofers on the market, and you have access to a huge (USA) used market, so, I understand your situation. but you won't be able to test all of the woofers ! I'd get the zcon 18", and focus on the best box I can fit in my car. Good luck.1 point- 1 amp or 2?
1 pointBetter to go with single amp setup.... Even though you DO NOT have to gain match when you strap the Sundown amps (Just an FYI)1 point- 15" Ascendant Audio Mayhem build

1 pointAhah I almost slept outside last nigh, but since im the man in the house I will never let that happen. Snug into bed at 2am...made some good progress I think you guys will like it. Even my wife was pleasantly surprised. Sleeping in front of the TV will be another story. If you guys like I can add some pics of us building the screen if I ever get around to doing that. But since the x-mas holidays are coming up; well you never know. More pics coming this weekend.1 point- Big Secret?

1 pointwhat are you looking for? i think either way 4 15s will be louder that 1 15. is this a serious question? i am partial to my zcons and wouldnt trade them for any amount of any other subs.1 point- deathrows in a sealed enclosure?
1 pointWith those T/S if my options were 2 sealed or 1 ported, one ported would be my suggestion. EBP around 76 and an Fs of 37hz.....they lean more towards ported enclosures, could be ran sealed but low end would suffer. Doubling displacement (2x the subs and 2x the power) increases output 6db, which in the subbass is going to sound pretty close to twice as loud. Not sure I'd call 2 subs compared to 1 a "little extra" gain, that would be pretty significant. Ofcourse it assumes a doubling of power to the subs as well. I get ya, same amp just twice the subs. so optimistically 3db and out of a trunk may just be less. I could tell it was louder and had more presence, but its just not justified in most cases...(for me any way).1 point- Welcome to the IHoP

1 pointMore pics of this weekend coming tonight bro Nice Ride!!! Waiting for more!! Thanks man much appreciated, I will continue to post pics but they will come slower now that I have somewhat caught up with the progress.1 point- Sleeping on the Couch
1 pointYeah Thanks bro, No-one actually makes a HO alt that works with this car and the awesome guys at ohio were the only guys willing to rework the OEM unit for me. Cost a fortune though it was really worth it. Shipping back and forth including the mod set me back around s$1000 To have some decent power here in Singapore one sort of have to go a bit crazy. I towed the car to a workshop as the alt is located in such a way that you need to put the car on a lift similar to that in the first pic in order to get to it. They took it out and I towed the car back to my place...went on holiday and when I came back two and a half weeks later the alt was already back in Singapore. Now that is great service. Added two big batts and I have no voltage problems on the 3000D though it does drop to the 11's and the odd high 10 at extended demo's.1 point- deathrows in a sealed enclosure?
1 pointadmittedly not having ever heard these in either applicator I would still like to add my 2cents Personally I feel a single sub setup is the way to go unless you are going for at least 3, 4 ++ subs. Not sure about you guys but the little extra gained from the added sub is not worth it for me in the space lost not to mention the ease of deployment and trouble shooting. So what I did is took out the two 12's and now I will add a 18 which pretty much makes my post useless.1 point- sub help!

1 pointHey Steve, Its a JDM Lancer GLX SPORT nothing too fancy but it gets us around. Here is a old pic that I posted earlier today in the Fi section; hope you guys dont mind me reposting. Forgot to add the Alt is a reworked OEM unit in case any one wondered.1 point- Sleeping on the Couch
1 pointHere is a quick vid of me testing the tonality after tuning the active setup. There was a fair bit of tuning to be done after I added the old temp sub in there. For most the deck is pretty good with the preset settings apart from the time delay which needed some alignment. Testing was done by following Uncle Bob's trusted test track. If you guys like I can add a few more, not sure if classic Chinese tracks will entertain you but that is what I have; my hooligan music is no good for testing at all. More pics will likely follow this coming weekend.1 point- Sleeping on the Couch

1 pointAs you guys can see I do not have a garage or a real place to work since I live in a apartment, so every thing takes five times as long. Measure/make template go upstairs cut...go downstairs test fit...go upstairs again...test fit; well you get the point. Other times Ill stop over at the rich folk with landed properties and do some work over a few beers. More pics as promised. Some goodies came in the other day. Every thing was taken out as I was looking to sell the car and buy something bigger, but I just loved her too much to get rid of her. 1 pointHey Jon, Nah she is the same ride I used before going on 4 years now but the recent floods here kept the underside nice and clean. I was pleasantly surprised myself when I saw it. Thanks for your input spammer. We don't care about your sentimental feelings around here. On to the build log As you can see some of the pics are still a bit old but still relevant. 0 pointsdepends on whos driving. im sure if the op was driving the 400hp car, he would lose. x2, im pretty sure the car with the higher output alternator wont beat the same car with more horsepower (stupid answer you gave).0 points- 4 re audio se 15's or 1 zcon 15?
0 pointsThere is such a thing as a stupid question. What would win in a race same car, a car with 400 ho or a car with 200hp?0 points- Ampless component suggestions
0 pointsProblem is I dont want coax, I asked for opinions on what would be a good comp. set off HU power....didnt ask u guys if I need an amp for components or if they make small amps or if coax would be the better option. Thank you to the very few that have actually given answers to my question0 points- 4 re audio se 15's or 1 zcon 15?

You got very close to being banned here; I guess I assumed they banned you, but looks like u got lucky. I'm pretty sure there was another post...the one where I recommended that you put a mesh filter over the turbo. Something about there were also a mention of you bashing someone's build-log and changing names. Well now that you posted in my new build-log seems your off to another bad start. I will keep your post there and see how it goes.-1 points- Big Secret?
