  1. I had a looooonnnnggggg day today. Went into work at 4am to get shit done then dentist. Pretty cold outside, moved the project into the basement. Don't mind the shitty basement carpet I have the port mounted rock solid. It is screwed, glued and caulked I also applied silicone to the inside of the elbow/flange in certain areas The elbow is flush with the front baffle. I like to discard the supplied gasket and use foam tape. I also recessed the mounting hole because subwoofer basket it is right against the sides/bottom of the enclosure. One ZCON 15 mounted! This is how it will look once it is finished. I still have a bunch of small details to complete until the enclosure is "done". Yep the flared flanged aero is huge, about 14.5"
  2. I just screw it. Clamps can loosen.
  3. See if this helps with the small pictures: Are they small when you view them on your PC after you download them? Or the phone needs some settings changed to shoot in a bigger resolution?

You are going to have to get a lot more specific. What is your budget, how much room do you have to work with, what type of sound are you looking for, etc etc.

We (SSA) are in the grey area as a lot of shops don't want to carry SSA, because they 2x - 3x the margin we can offer. Most shops don't care about quality, and don't feel they should pay for it unless a name like Zapco or JL is on the front. So we have been growing, dealer wise, more organically with smaller shops and some competitors who are not about huge margins and pushing product on people, but more so enthusiasts that care about audio and understand about doing it right the first time. This way is much slower in terms of growing as a brand, but with a great product and honest people who love it, it is much better overall in my opinion.

yea this guy is running 3 sa 12's on a 4500 and i think his box is 6 cubes? and i run 2 sundown nightshade 15s in 6 cubes.... that was my point by saying who said 15's wont work in smaller encloses .it depends on the sub.. nightshades seems to like smaller encloses. oh and btw i run almost 5k daily... thinking about doubling up...

Why do you want a Sundown amp? DC Audio or Crescendo amps FTW. Why so many batteries? You have a HO alt(sorry to hear it is DC Power). BTW 5.0K on two 12's is overkill by a long shot for a music/daily setup. lol im just trying to be loud and the batteries.....was just trying to make sure I have minimal voltage drop... If you have current draw that is exceeding your alternator's output you will have voltage drop regardless of the amount of batteries used. Multiple batteries are worthless unless you plan on driving around at 12V or playing your system with the car off. Why do you want a Sundown amp? DC Audio or Crescendo amps FTW. Why so many batteries? You have a HO alt(sorry to hear it is DC Power). BTW 5.0K on two 12's is overkill by a long shot for a music/daily setup. He probably wants to match the subs with the amp. BTW how is 5k overkill? His electrical will probably support it. OP Look at some SSA Zcons. Very nice from what I've been told. Nah man, you need more than a 250a alt to support a solid 5k amp. Nobody needs 5k for a music/daily setup. I dont care WHO you are. OVERKILL.

To support a 5k amp you need more than a 250a. You know this. Why would you, or anybody, buy a 5K amp and not plan on using it? Just to say oyu have it?
