I like to keep people wondering and Thank you. At some point we will have to get together. Thank you. Why sealed? I have always done ported boxes and wanted to try something different. I do have plenty of room to go ported if I should change my mind, but for now I want to try sealed with large cones and high xmax.

I actually have my old zcon box. Since you kind of got screwed over I am willing to send it to you for the cost of shipping if it will fit.

As you can see the back seat has been replaced.

I hope the preorder price is good, because I really want one. Pre orders are only needed when your trying to pay for a mass overseas order. when your equipment is built local at an affordable price then you dont need to mark it down just to sell some.

Wired up and got all the 12s in. Still setting in how brutal it is to be honest and they have yet to break in at all. I far surpassed the goal i was shooting for and the few reactions i got were pretty much immediate ejections from the car lol. Did a half ass hair trick with some random chick she was to afraid to get close enough for to to go crazy. All in all once i button this sucker up and get some bigger batteries ill be killing the shows.

Lets get this build log started! I was debating a new build back in October, but with the haunt and buying the new building, well I had to put it off until now. What funded this build was, in my very little free time I clean saltwater aquariums and have been saving that money for a few months. I was undecided which way I wanted to go, but after talking to Aaron I decided to go with SSA subs. I have never been part of the team until now, but I have always promoted SSA in a positive manor. I decided on 2 18" XCONS sealed. The box is 54"x22"x22.75" total net vol after disp and bracing is about 11.6 cubes. Now for the pictures and yes this may be picture heavy.

I hope the preorder price is good, because I really want one. What pre-order? We have never done one before. I am not comfortable accepting orders before product is ready to build or ship.

If you notice the brace is not perfect, my son wanted to do it for me and I am not bitching. You will notice my toes in the pictures, don't worry I have lots of shoes, but I like to go barefoot.

It's over 150 dB on the dash now with the 3 spider woofer (which is quieter) due to some changes in the setup. Need to build another 2 spider woofer as we damaged the first one (4000+ watt burps on an eight can do that). More details later on

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the nice comments. All i was able to get done tonight was painting the port and getting the back panel done. Still trying to decide if im even gonna run the mids and his amps on the back now though. Not really a clean way to wire it so itll probably be a no go.

Only got the batteries temprarly set up tonight till i get 3-4 larger ones but itll be run this way for awhile. Im gonna get the port painted tomorrow and get the second amp rack on the back done for the 50.4 and the 100.2.

Fits like a glove yeah buddy. Let me tell you its a bear getting it in the car alone lol. Ill get a better picture tomorrow just started raining/snowing so i called it a day.

Built a little amp rack to hold the amps on the box tonight. Box should be going in the car tomorrow just gotta paint the port and seal all the joints inside the box.

Thanks guys im pulling out all the stops on this build it'll probably be the last big one as i plan to get a car early next year. I did get 2 power and 2 ground runs done tonight and tear out the old wiring.

Here you go guys bracing done and mostly carpeted. Had to throw the 4 sa-12s in just to see what it looked like lol.

Finally got the top on and most of the bracing done. Once all the bracing is done im gonna get the carpet on it tomorrow. Yes i know i over brace but that's just how i roll.

Got the router bit in to cut the port opening and bought a new sander to clean everything up today. Still gotta glue and screw down the baffle and finish bracing tomorrow. Hopefully my order comes soon with the carpet and and other odds and ends so i can finish that up.

Well i got the holes all done in the baffle i guess tomorrow ill get it glue and screwed on. Bit for the router should be here to do the port opening as well.

Well didnt get off work till 530 so no wood cutting for me today. Though i did start on the false floor the other day and got four of the subs in today. So here y'all go the first of hopefully many pics to come.
