Demoing at idle is bad with just about any charging system and battery combo. The alternator uses it's fans to shed the heat generated as a product of power production and needs to be at speed to cool properly.

well I just received and hooked up my la-3000md , and let me start off by saying I used to push my single 12" xcon with 250 watts and people who heard it thought I had 2 12s . Now that I hooked up the la-3000 md its just insane how it flexes my roof and doors , it turned my xcon into a monster and Its in a bmw I can even imagine the destruction in a honda or economy car would be like

To clear things up before anymore problems brew, The Gcon is to feel the gap between the Dcon and the Icon as previously stated. You asked about performance and if it were better than the Zcon. To answer that with out knowing your goals would be misleading info. If your looking for a awsome sounding 750w rms driver than the Gcon may be better performing to you than the Zcon, however if your looking to throw but loads of power at it than the Zcon would be a better choice as that is not what the Gcon is designed for. I wouldnt say one is better performing than the other it is really dependant on your goals of the woofer setup ect. I hope this helps you out. All this info was found in the thread and a quick browse through it would have answered all of your questions.

heres a sight into the future. as some of you saw my side mirror fly off during my SB4 run. I ordered a new replacement and it arrives looking like this, gloss black. well i dont want beige or gloss black so the plan for the whole car is satin black. i did the new mirror just to get a taste of whats to come. what do you guys think. ill take a few pics outside tomorrow.

well i had a few hours today to play with this pig and i fixed part of the baffle flex. i ran 5 runs of 2/0 to the back a week or so ago but only used three since i only had one alternator. i figured why not hook it all up to the one 350a alt. couldnt hurt right? old screws falling out of the wall. a little embarrising but it is what it is. well if you embarras me ill drill your ass. bring in the 5/16 spax lag bolts. now on to some testing. subs are starting to loosen up just as hair so my peak went down a hair. I know these are not termlab numbers so save it. either way it shows a gain. ive already shown it will do a 157+ officially Pretty much started off right where i left it. Now the goal is to put these numbers on a term lab at a show...Have a nice day

Well it was hot as shit today, i demoed all day. still managed a 157.3 burp official and a 155.4 streetbeat. didnt get the good sb4 run. batteries are dropping real fast and my scores reflected that.

she wants to compete in SPLstreet with me.. so im thinking i have a menphis PR1000 laying around... i may throw it in and let her compete im still kicking it around... aaron did shoot us some stickers, so shes badged up now, and repping SSA.. people allways trip out when they see she has a SSA icon
