2 points2 points- Thought this was cool, SSA XCON's found in KNU advertisement
I thought this was pretty cool. Of all the different pictures and manufacturers they had to choose from they picked SSA XCON's for the picture in their ad.2 points- Welcome to the IHoP
2 points2 points- Efficient 6.5 Component Set For Stock HU, No Amp
Impedance has nothing to do with loudness. Being 2ohm only means it will draw more current than a 4 ohm driver.2 points- 1983 Lincol Mark VI build. Single 10" Fi SSD, Memphis 5 channel...
This is another build I'm doing for a friend of mine. I'm doing an audio and hydraulic install for him. Goals... Put a clean and simple system together. Keep wattage reasonable to avoid large electrical upgrades. Good overall sound quality and output. Use as little space possible for audio. Got the box started. Using 3/4" birch plywood with a double baffle. Here is a shot of the backside of the sub for those who haven't seen one of these subs yet. Had to get creative to fit a pair of 3" Aero ports in this box. It's tuned at 33hz with a box volume of 1.5 cubes. The "shrek" box. Just needed to black out the top the other sides aren't seen when installed. Carved a large section of the rear deck out and laid down some second skin deadener. Then we slid the box in and screwed it to the rear seat brace to keep it from moving around. It's not completely sealed off from the trunk but should still cut down on some trunk rattle hopefully. Mounted and wire up the amp. Disregard the carpet in the bottom of the trunk it's not staying there.1 point- sundown lincoln

1 pointFrom my personal experience trunk cars meter with port firing driver side..... Awesome Score! I bet it sounds amazing in there as well. If you want to be LOUD and still sound good SSA is the way to go IMO! I love my icons. Right now I am only pushing 4k on 8 18's and squeezed 150.8 out of my 4th order. And the CLARITY is just AMAZING! good Job Danielle....... Jon props to you as well sir as I am sure you played a big roll1 point- some questions on losing some weight
x2 on all that. i am a host so im on my feet for 7-8hrs a day plus i was taking addipex.. helps a ton. lol they are illegal here in ohio so i had to go to KY and get my perscription. iv been off them for 3 or 4 weeks now and i have no addiction what so ever. I wouldn't fuck with any pills like that. Replace junk food / processed food with whole food, reduce sugar and carbohydrate consumption. Protein has great satiety properties so you can use it in place of say carbs, and feel relatively full while still being on a caloric deficit. Another note: If you gradually reduce your carb intake to around 100g or less per day, and aren't consuming lots of sugar, then your body can slowly start relying more so on fat for an energy source instead of glucose. The body will still use glucose stored in muscles known as glycogen during intense activities, but daily activities, walking, hiking, etc could all burn fat. If your interested in reading more about the latter, look up ketosis, and ketogenic diets.1 point- Metered today :)
1 pointall badged up... and she has been doing really well.. so i turned up the gain a bit.... baby steps... if it does well then maybe a 1000 watts is next..1 point- The PT Bruiser, 159.5db!!
1 pointGot the first videos of the wall!! I used my friend DC L4 XL 18"s for the weekend to see what all needed to be worked on before my subs went in at full power. The M4a was @.5ohm, so a good bit of juice, but not as much as I'll be running with the MT's. And I noticed I started running into power compression issues with the XL's, they couldn't take the full power of the amp, even at .5ohm. None the less, here are the videos!!! Last night demoing to a friend while my GF does a hairtrick. Someone said this morning that a hair trick in the window is to to easy, so I did this.1 point- some questions on losing some weight
5'10" and 215. Honestly a lil too soft around the middle. Gotta change that. And Weight numbers on a scale don't mean shit. Its all about the bf%, blood pressure, cholesterol (good and bad), blood sugar levels, and how active you are. J1 point- Welcome to the IHoP
1 point- sono tube port help! is it enough
The tube will be strong enough without any modification. They fill these with concrete all the time.1 point- Hello EveryOne !!!!
1 pointHi Magalie! My name is Senchez and I'm from the states. I have no kids and work for cummins diesel engine. In my spare time I like turn my music up really loudly and hang with the ssa/iak friends. I don't train to get fit but I do eat quite a bit for my size. Besides that I'm a full time student and I don't play poker. Maybe there is an online webcam spade website?1 point- difference in quality in speakers
I never said "up front speakers" were a marketing ploy (whatever "up front speakers" means?), I said all of the "add ons" they try to sell you are a marketing ploy...such as their center stage kit, their upstage kit, etc. If you would like me to explain why I think it's a bad idea from an acoustics point of view, then I would be happy to do so. I already told you what I don't like about CDT. The value isn't there. The cost of the speakers are not in line with their performance. They aren't "bad" per say, you will probably be happy with their sound. But you could have purchased different speakers for less money and been just has happy, and not spent the money on the center stage kit. Specs and objective measurements tell you a lot if you have the right objective information and understand how to interpret it. More than any subjective review or subjective evaluation could ever hope to obtain. There's absolutely nothing wrong with asking questions and "questioning authority", if that's how this instance is viewed.1 point- sundown lincoln

1 pointEy guys, relax , didn't write anything offensive @Ts , please just take it as a compliment , avatars like that is just not something you see on a car-audio forum everyday on topic : looks like you got some good guys helping you improving your scores ,but if you wanna research some for yourself, on another forum that shares name with SSA's Steve Mead theres a pretty good thread for beginners to help raise their score by "Fecupe2001" she has plenty good mentors here on SSA.
