If you have to ask that question, you have no business messing with 5K. Hell, you shouldn't be playing at all.
  2. People learn and people teach in different ways. What you perceive as "knocking down" may not be so at all. You have to remember that true emotion can not be conveyed through type. For instance, you've changed your screen name to chill, yet the way in which you post shows much animosity, You've typed about people showing respect then also typed about not giving a fuck, so there's blatant hypocrisy. So what I see is you talk about change, but deep down, the demons are still there. I applaud you for making the change, for trying, for realizing there was a problem. I used to get into fights all the time, not give a fuck about anything, etc. . . It sucked. It's hard. I don't know what changed for me, but one day it's like I just got sick of feeling like that. But my demons sometimes poke their heads out and no matter what. they are always there. It's all a matter of how you control them. Good luck to you in your venture towards happiness, just remember to keep an open mind and remember that everyone has a different perception. Well said. A bit more detail on the teaching part though. A teacher that does the problem for you is a fail, a teacher that makes you think, ask the right questions so you learn how to solve the problem yourself is a win. It is never the other way around.
  3. This option will be less taxing on your electrical and amplifier. I say go this route. Can always add an other NS-1 down the road and strap them.

  5. The number of spiders are worthless unless you know the deflection of each of them. For example 5 spiders with a deflection of 1mm at 100 grams each will not be as stiff as two spiders with a deflection of 1mm at 385 grams each.
  6. I was thinking of running an amp at .5 this time around but, I can only have a limited electrical setup. I like the idea of having more amp than I need and running @ 1ohm. Id say get the Ns-1 or similar. (voted)
  7. Sweet. I love the farm.
  8. Fuck me, my lung is on the desk. First bike ride of the year and I ripped out around 7 miles in a bit over 20 minutes. I'm an idiot/.

Ie: I have an 18" sub, but 99% of the time I have it attenuated so much that the output is something you'd expect from an 8", but when I get the bass bug I can turn it up.

There isnt any reason you can't have stupid loud bass, and then turn the bass level down for regular listening ("sq"). However, you cant expect "sq" while at the same time flexing windows. If your okay with that, then proceed on. I quoted sq because it's completely subjective, and what I consider sq may be entirely different then another's idea.
  11. Thanks to allen, i got to meter my 2 15" orion hcca 15's in 9cubes gross tuned at 31Hz. i can say im happy with my scores still using 2 orion hcca 15's, 1 aq3500.1 @.5ohm, 2 c&d 270fr batteries,2 runs of xs flex 0 gauge to the back, optima red top under hood, big 3 and custom 250amp alt. here are the scores for the day.... Sealed: 145.4db outlaw: 149.4db Meca: 147.0db IIRC My hz responce... Proof of the 149.4 haha ...outlaw may not mean shit to some of you, but im damn proud of my 149.4
  12. I think you misunderstood what sencheezy was trying to convey. There are special threads for dumping youtube vids in

Never said you were stupid man. You and I are kind of throwing around some similar ideas. I started a thread a few weeks ago about going active and decided it was too much for me. I always need a loud setup that sounds good, maybe that is your goal as well?

  15. its funny cause it says SMD

Above is true, but I also don't want to see you stuff those in a 5 cube box. Not saying you are, but in your last thread you wanted to use a 5 cube box. That and you typed SQL. Not a term that means anything here. If you need clarity on that you can reference my signature. I'm just glad you aren't being further confused by Kevin. His response to you on what will work well was downright shameful.
  17. Great score man! Once you get that 150 i promise youll have your sites set on a 155. Ive slowly learned that its stupid hard and expensive if you don't want a fart box lmao.

  19. I was nice and only dragged him out by his shirt and not his fuckin ear.
  20. Haven't made much progress as of late my work schedule of 5 10s has been kicking my ass. First order of business will be new batteries as mine are finally taking a shit after 5 years of abuse. Either way heres a crappy video of the last car show i went to. Ended up getting a 152.5 on music with drivers door open peaking at 36-38hz. I consider that stout considering my batteries were barley maintaining 12.5 and i was clamping 4300wrms. If i can get more power i think i can pull a 54+ on music just maybe and being no wall that's impressive to me.
  21. im wondering now if i should just forget about .25 ohms.. its just too hard on the amp. and with texas heat on top of it .. .running in the lanes at .25 is a pain in the ass.... and i would need ALOT more battery to run an NS1 at .25
  22. I agree. Clearly too young to know how to make an exquisite sandwich.

Nobody here thinks you're tough. So just stop. Also, this isn't twitter. Use actual words when you type, please.
  25. Dang i obviously missed these posts ive been so busy this week. I had considered running the sundown neo's but honestly im looking more for sq as most the time i drive i listen to rock and such. As loud as 8-12s are full tilt you really don't pay attention to whats being said you just enjoy the blurry vision and your car falling apart lol. That's how it is for me anyway. I plan to get ya'll some more pictures and and updates this weekend as im gonna try and get the majority of the pods done then. Tried today but i measured the hardener wrong and halfway through applying the resin on the other base plate it started to harden............ anyways i got the mids in and let me just say they are built like tanks.
