  1. Do you paint your toe nails? Nice score!
  2. Got some factory pictures just now -- it's shipping to us soon. Assuming all goes well we'll start production of this and the 2500D v.2 very soon! * I had mentioned we were working on double inputs but it wasn't going to work out with the narrow casing. Outside of dedicated SPL the difference is not significant, though. * We got the production RCAs on this prototype. * BEEF
  3. I was just wondering if there was a ETA on when these will be back in stock? I would like one Light Blue in Large, shipped to me, charged to store credit of course
  4. No updates as of yet... Decided id show you guys what i was into before car audio... Heres when i bought the car at 15. after about 2 years i blew that motor... shot a rod out the front of the block...so got another motor for cheap.. sadly after about 2 years i spun a bearing in that motor...decided it was time to build up a motor.... the block turned out fine just the crank, bearing, and rod got messed up.... found a good stock crank for cheap... bought acl race bearings... eagle rods...srp pistons...arp headstuds...endyn oil pump...the only part that wasnt built up was the head....we got the head rebuilt with stock parts so it was pretty much new.... also decided to put a turbo on... garrett T3 .42/48...little guy lol Switched out turbos...went with a Holset HX35... and this is where its at now... switched manifolds cause this one is much sexier lol and yes all the work was done myself....with the help of my dad and his friend letting me use his auto shop... right now im having issues with the radiator... it was a cheap one i bought off ebay...it doesnt like boost very much it overheats fairly quick....seen a nice mishimoto radiator built for boost so im gonna try that one out... maybe try a new shroud and fan as well...
  5. Well yesterday was my first listening to my sub again being I was on vacation. Yeah it's very loud, haha. I can move a good amount of air. But I would still like it to get louder. So maybe saving up for a second isn't a bad idea.
  6. So is the magical "sq" dust they sprinkle all over it.

had it to an ap3000 , but way turned down My next question was going to be about your electrical, so thanks for answering. How did you set your gain? My guess is it was probably your ssf setting but I'd hate for you to get a recone and blow it again. The ZCON is hard to destroy, so there was something set wrong for sure.
  9. I thought the same thing
  10. Got everything mounted and cables installed. The power wire is not connected yet as the final installer in Seattle will take care of that. They will also mount the cables neatly to the cabinet. I went ahead and put expandable sheaths over everything with heatshrink to clean up the ends. The equipment only sits about 3/16" off the cabinet wall because I countersunk the rubber isolators in so deep. Also, the pig tail that connects to the XLR cable on the car side isn't shown. It is also cover in expandable sheath and looks real nice. All in all she is really clean, looks great. Will be super simple to take in and out. Pictures don't do it justice as usual and my shop is a mess right now...
  11. I don't hate on W7's, and I know why they cost that much.
  12. It's not broken.
  13. Sitting around in my underwear drinking beer. Life isn't to bad.
  14. Sometimes I hate you man.
  15. Cone area doesn't work that way. Radius x radius x pi For a 10 that would be 5 x 5 x 3.14 = 78.5. 2 10's would be 157. A 15 would be 7.5 x 7.5 x 3.14 = 176. Be careful comparing though. Different companies rate the actual Sd differently. It depends on the cone, surround and where they measure.
  16. Looks like the Xcons arrived today...
  17. I LOVE PORTED! <3 without a doubt. i dunno i guess i like to get loud but i like how i can set it firing into the back of my van and it can sound so smooth and stuff. i dunno i deff like the ported over sealed but they both have they're pros and cons such as port noise and deep tones and stuff but its all in what you like as far as quality over control
