  1. Keep up the good work. Please don't put donk wheels on a 4x4 SUV.
  2. I'm confused.... Me too obviously. 4wd/awd, can tow, is fast, and can handle. I'm not excited with what is on the market so I thought having something built might be fun. The ridiculousness of a HD truck that is dropped sounded fun...that and diesel power boosters are sweet. The first two are readily achievable. For the third you're either going to have to change your definition of "handles good" or you're going to have to do some work with the suspension. Especially with a diesel. Nah, 75% of the weight up high and over the front axle makes for fun. That just ups the challenge. '10 Powerstroke, EGR Delete, Exhaust, Intake, Tune, 525hp, 810ftlb at the wheels... I'll bet they make lowering kits for them... Your initial post is what got me thinking. Yep, I just keep reminding you to make you wonder about vehicles. It amuses me to see you ponder the multitude of choices for a year and go back and forth on them. I'm still waiting for you to break down and buy a Pantera.
  3. The new ones aren't quite available just yet. They are a solid upgrade from the older ones though
  4. It's okay man. Don't worry about it. One week is now the end. Just make sure you don't let it continue. Keep it going!!!
  5. Another good one
  6. And THE greatest song and video of that decade. . . . .
  7. I can safely say I've got this one covered, he's a local, probably no more then 30-40 minutes away. I'll make sure he gets setup properly.
  8. No, it's just Florida.
  9. Well, the Sp4's are just plain brutal!!! The enclosure seems perfect for them at 14cu tuned at 31hz. I still need to get my mids and highs in, running the head unit on standard mode with the rockford components with one blown tweeter just to make sure everything was hooked up correctly. Sounds like ass. Gonna try to get the doors done this weekend. Gonna run active 2 way with the 8's and FT1 super tweeters, after listening to them eq'd sitting on my dash I can live with it.
  10. Congrats, man!!! Cute pic. Now you got to figure out how to hook a system up to the stroller.
  11. ^BEST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. I need to get that 30 minute response time cut in half.
  12. I'm sorry, but they are the worst tool for measuring. This is exactly what I am talking about in the previous posts. You see it acting differently and pick arbitrary numbers out of the air , insert, and bam. See what I'm getting at? Isn't that how you measure all the time. You measure with your eyes when you need to stop your car so you don't wreck. How far to step so you don't fall down the stairs. What size a bolt is so you can get the right size wrench. I don't carry a pucking ruler in my back pocket nor do I care too. See what I'm getting at? I noticed a very audible difference as well. At full tilt my truck is quiet as shit on the outside with the windows up. The problem is your eye is not sensitive enough to he used as a measuring device for panel movement. It's akin to stating you could measure a driver's excursion by eye. Audible differences are a given, but you are already perceiving a change so you brain has already signaled there will be a change whether there is or not. Is it really that horrible of a product if he bought the shit to make his roof stop rattling and it worked, ive heard his truck at full tilt and it is pretty damn quiet for the huge sub stage. He bought it to stop rattles, applied it properly and it has served his purpose, no need to split hairs and try to discredit what he experienced. This is such a dead horse, why spend this much time worrying about it? I'm not worried about anything. He just proved my point I made earlier. Yes, the stuff made a difference, but what amount. I was not questioning the difference, I questioned his numbers stated and methods of measurement. It's simply perception. He percieved a difference; his mind had already made that decision for him. I understand why you would suspect that, but to say it as if its fact and there's no way it could possibly have happened just shows an automatic bias. Your hastening to doubt a product that you've never seen, heard, or used just because of one bad batch? After the owner gave OP team pricing (real team member), and offered to send more or refund his money, I really don't see the problem. No ones claiming its the best, but to automatically assume its useless junk is a bold statement not supported by facts.
  13. i let my friend take full control of my truck and he gets a bail out in it lol
  14. Got my truck back and its a beast! This was it yesterday, lol Truck runs like a champ now. Its very very strong, new mods were. ARP Head studs with stock Ford gaskets Heads fluxed and resurfaced, valve job EGR delete Oil cooler rebuilt Full turbo back 4in MBRP exhaust, no cat SCT SF3 tuner loaded with Innovative Diesel customs tunes After dropping an unexpected 6k on this thing I can now get back to installing all my stereo equipment back in. Although this thing sounds so mean I will enjoy driving it for a few days with no sounds.
  15. These things are monsters. They are very impressive in person and I cant wait to get them installed. Hopefully my truck will be done soon. few pics
