  1. Just wait, she'll speak.
  2. Nice to see some activity in here. Looking foward to these upcoming builds. I am wearing the offical shirt as I post this too!
  3. yes it is the ap1500. 2ohm it does right around 900w and when you clip it, well it could be as much as 1800w of heat. The sub took it like a champ! Nice! I guess it gives you a better apperication for the build quality. That's why I run SSA. 'merica

Hey you guys. I was wondering what does the "warn status" mean? How can I change it?
  8. You will have to email Fi at [email protected] for any orders on the old store, the new store is being installed and updated as I type. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think you deserve a warning for this thread
  10. 1 point
Um, no, please don't throw any warnings on there. I need my daily Sound Solutions Audio kick everyday!!! It's my new addiction formed habit. NO! NO! NO!

I mean, if you want I can have a few of the moderators throw some warnings on there for fun.

alot of high end SPL woofers are not made in a 10 inch sub. for many reasons, 1 the size of the motor can some times be larger then the cut out of the driver. 2 the mechanical limits of a small diameter spider would limit the throw, 3 the 10 driver purposes alot of issues and clashes when building a SPL or high throw driver, they are commonly special order from companies who are willing to do so for a experienced competitor in a cone area limited class im not sure if any of those reasons are why FI does not offer one.. but i can tell you those are most common with other builders.
  13. That I knew, I just figured there were more like 6, 8 or 10 people there to build stuff. It's hard to fathom how 3 people can keep up with the number of orders. They must have the build process down to a fine science is all I can imagine. It's called the race to ZERO. Cannot keep up with similar margins as other brands go cheaper and cheaper, which means minimal money for employees and production.
  14. It has to dry for several hours and maybe days!
  15. You beat the hell out of that poor sub...LOL! It seems to have held up pretty well though for the abuse. SSA FTW!! Good luck with finding a economy vehicle, wish I had one. 99 Burban=bad gas mileage, with approx 7-800lbs of equipment= worse! Haha!
  16. Welcome to SSA Read the owner's manuals and know your products before atempting this installation please ... Also, We could use a little bit more information about the vehicle / system you are planning to install these products in ... Best of luck with your Setup
  17. not me, i can play music for a very long time at idle with out going into low voltage its fun!, but im not loud.
  18. I like the new Regal, but that's not really GM given the Opel division, or hell, Germany as a whole. It's evolution in design and engineering is evident that it's roots are not GM.
  19. Need to say no comment at this moment, before anything is set in stone either way. May have more info soon.
  20. I've had all GM and a ton of Fords. I'm on my first foreign car and I actually like it, aside from the rust. I don't like much anything from GM after 88. Hell, even the midsize and compacts of the 80s and on were shit for GM. Just too much cheap plastic and rattles and what not. Ford has their issues as well, but I've had good luck with ever Ford I've ever owned and I'm from a Ford family, so it's natural to me.
  21. That's crazy My RE SEX 10 smells bad all the time on 1000RMS, I figure once it "lets go" I'll have to get some SSA in a "real box" LICK FOR HIGH RES! -Jamie M. Austin and I are getting ready to do a build with 2 RE SX 18's. The older ones though.
  22. Time to reveal the super secret AHC woofer. 0_o
  23. Speaking of which, I met someone. My age, no kids. Perfect.
  24. Managed to squeeze alittle more out this past weekend. Im gonna have some updates with some tweaks i plan to do here soon as my goal with this build is to break 156 on music. Overall im happy with the build and once my goal is reached i believe their is gonna be a wall build in my future. Anyways i still think a no wall score of 154.6 at 37hz on music is still really damn good.
  25. Why?... tell me why. They're dcons... 300rms. I had a [email protected] on 3. They dont need more power. Why dont u buy some and fry them yourself.
  26. I guess... But I'd rather take my chances with the hydraulic... lol ... They do work just fine, I'm not sure what you came into this thread trying to do really. I can appreciate the bumps but come on now. I have used a version of these for years before we went to hydraulic and they worked just fine and we have had zero issues ever and we have built 20k rms systems with them with zero failures. Thanks for the bumps though, now lets get this back on topic of selling this and not trying to "bash it" for what ever reasons you happen to have.
  27. But god dang do my 2 10" dcons make ppls mouth drop for how little their rated. Paired with my aq750 Have not regretted my purchase. Amazing subs!!
  28. Thanks Adrian_D Cannot wait to receive them An amazing guy to work with for sure.
  29. A few photos from last weeknds show. I really hate having to leave early every show :'( Look at my window tints! I em! I did when 1st place in show n shine.
  30. Thanks for all the kind words fellas!!! I haven't actually decided want I wanted to do yet as far as wheels/tires is concerned. I would never to 26s though Mi casa su casa
  31. Been super busy this weekend and didn't have time to get any videos but i promise they will be coming soon. It appears door pods are next as components stand no chance at all. I originally wanted to run 3 way active but it turned out to be far more trouble that i wanted to get into. Id like to run 3-4 3" full range drivers up the pillars and 2 7-8" mids in each door.
  32. Here you go guys bracing done and mostly carpeted. Had to throw the 4 sa-12s in just to see what it looked like lol.
