  1. A smidgen of an update: All new projectdb metal. Battery terminals, triple inputs, and 12x12 distro's. The distro's with the + and - ran. Thats 18 of each. this is with the 6 + and 6 - 2/0 welding runs going below to the batteries. this was not fun to move around lol. Not as clean as I would like. It was like 90 out ( I know not hot for most of you but summer here is usually around 65-70 lol. And Im a fattie that was dumb enough to wear a black shirt that day.) so it will get cleaned up. since the distros were on the side of the box i didnt know exactly how long to cut the wires, So thats why the tops are a bit longer. Got finals in just over a month,
  2. Guys, I care very much about our customer support, it is one of the most important jobs that I do. I would never ever let any of my guys send out a sub that was damaged. Out of the thousands and thousands of Q's we have shipped out, we have maybe a 1% damage. We do our very best to insure that our customers get the very best product at a very reasonable price. On the email issue, it will be baqck up as soon as our new email server is up. With the changeover to the new website, we had to changeover our email server as well, so for all the emails I have sent out this week, I had a little note in each one, letting everyone know that the email would be down for up to 72 hours, as that is what the email company told me it would take. Thanks, Shawn
  3. i think hes a single daddy this week, he takes father hood very seriously the car waits,
  4. It's actually entirely up to you. Putting sound deadener on the rear doors isn't going to directly affect the sound of the components in the front doors the same way deadening the front doors will. However, depending on the degree to which you're planning on deadening the door it could make a difference in road noise, which can have an affect on the overall noise floor in the vehicle. If all you're planning on doing is putting Dynamat on without any use of closed cell foam (CCF) or mass loaded vinyl (MLV) then there's really no sense at all spending the money on putting the Dynamat CLD on your rear doors IMHO since CLD does nothing to stop noise, only panel resonance. Now if you were planning on utilizing the entire spectrum of products (CLD, CCF, & MLV) then I would definitely recommend deadening the rear doors. That will help stop panels from rattling (CCF does that), and block road noise (MLV does that) as well which helps lower the noise floor and make the entire audio experience that much more enjoyable. Hope this helps.
  5. Wonder what the new one would be called? We have a D-G-I-X-Z(con) right now... Maybe we'll get into numbers now? The 4Con?
  6. So who plans to be in Indy next month for finals? I'm going to be taking the weekend off so I can hang out with everyone
  7. Looks sick bro. Eager to see & HEAR this @ finals in Indy!
  8. SSA and Fi both use yellow spiders.
  9. Bad latex leave the entire experience lacking.
  10. The mids are awesome, the tweeters can be a little harsh (But they are bullet tweets) but however they sound pretty damn great for what they are especially if you eq them out, the harshness will be a lot less than you would think. I have the mids crossed over from 40-5khz and the tweet 5k+. They can get STUPID loud for just being a set per door.
  11. texting u in a bit... i demand full details!!!! lol
  12. Someday brother, it will be, lol
  13. Shits starting to get nuts!

  15. I just find it funny that people are giving the guy shit for building a burp setup for a burp class. It's not a musical class, so who gives a fuck what he does otherwise. Don't be jealous that he's just louder than you with less gear, and get over yourselves.
  16. Senchez will be gettin a chubby when he gets to see the headlights...lol!
  17. Doing just your doors does help a noticeable amount. Of course, as you mentioned, cocooning yourself/vehicle in it is obviously the best way to go and yields the best result, but you'll definitely notice the difference with just the doors done. In my Jimmy for example, I've done just the sides and doors with CLD & CCF so far and the results are beyond amazing. The first thing people notice when they ride in it is the nearly non existant squeaks and rattles that usually accompany the major road noise which is quite reduced as well. The trucks are just pretty notorious for being noisy rides. I plan on finishing the sides and doors with MLV as soon as funding and time allows, followed soon thereafter by treating the rest of the truck and I can't wait to get it done. For now though I'm very happy with and impressed by what it's doing for it so far. Hope that helps to put some perspective on it.
  18. Alright Steve. I know the sun has to have shined a time or two in TX. Yet I don't see any pics?
  19. Like this? If so I LOVE that color. Post pics if you can.
  20. Try reading here Steve http://usaci.forumotion.com/t11553-term-lab-re-initializing Not sure if it'll help but I figured it was worth a shot.
