  1. They are on the way to you my friend!
  2. ....that was a well structured and paragraphed post, but I fucked that up somehow.
  3. I was caught up on moving air and trying for a hairtrick in my crew cab Dakota, I went with 2 15" Icons in a fairly big box with a fair amount of port area on 2000 watts and I can do a hairtrick about like bigjon does maybe a bit more. It was cool and all and I was really happy I can do one but other than showing off to the odd person its kinda pointless. And when you leave your window cracked accidentally when its snowing out with stereo on expect the inside of your vehicle to be filled with snow. It sucks. Ultimately though building a setup designed for what music you like to listen to and enjoy would be smarter, and if you accomplish a hairtrick, Bonus.

The post is from last years SBN.
  5. I was so pissed to find out I was lied to by the media, handguns were used, NOT an assault rile. I shouldn't be surprised the media lies and manipulates, but damn I was mad because I actually believed an AR 15 was used. I love how NY has citizens living in tents months after Sandy, but they rush a Draconian gun ban bill in days which doesn't even provide exceptions for law enforcement! My wife's uncle is fed up, they're planning on getting their finances in order and leaving the state.
  6. Thank you everyone! Thank you so much. I really appreciate you spreading the word about this raffle. St Jude's is a great charity and every penny helps towards finding cures for children. Again, thank you for the kind words it means so much to me and my family.
  7. Looking good man, it's gonna be wicked once your all done!!
  8. Not much but its day one of testing the Evil 15s I only have 3 at the moment. Managed a 155@42hz with 3 subs.
  9. Most C-Pillar walls fail becasue woofers don't have anything to load off of back there, like in a B-Pillar wall where they load off the windshield and dash.
  10. Wish the best for your family and daughter. Donations will definitely be going to a worthy cause.
  11. We already give $20 a month to St Jude's. It is one of the charities that we feel is worthwhile. We will also purchase a ticket on Friday, and if we are fortunate enough to win, we will donate the item, and said proceeds back to you to give back to St. Jude's. Best wishes for you and your family. I mod a couple forums and own a forum myself. I will share this in all forums I can. She is a cutie pie. Congrats on beating the odds thus far. I am certain this little darling will provide you with happiness beyond your imagination.
  12. Great idea Sean! I wish all the best for you and your family!
  13. Absolutely no reason that amplifier shouldn't be able to sufficiently power that subwoofer as long as everything is properly setup
  14. I would appreciate if you guys visit this thread and possibly donate There is a chance to win some awesome SSA products!

  23. They have Popeye's in Japan? Learn something new everyday
  24. Download WinIsd to model your box. It comes with a tutorial. And they have a forum. Use the calculators on the12volt.com For port area and length.
  25. Definitely shouldn't be checking any sort of resistance on the hot sides of the battery, it's irrelevant. Parallel, is parallel. Beings that you are using wire and jumping things instead of buss bars, yes you will have more resistance present. So long as you hook the hot to the hot and the ground to the ground you have nothing to be concerned about. You could have different resistance of the alloy that is made up of the fuse block and it's reading the resistance of the fuse that is inside of your meter and varying a bit. Either way..hook hot to hot, ground to ground. The only thing that you could/should be concerned about resistance wise is the resistance of the ground plane to the battery bank itself because that is where your power comes from. Without ground, you have no power. If you short it, it will glow like the sun and take your hands with it. Hope that helps
