  1. And seriously, thank you. LOL no problem. You all need to relax. I used to be like a lot of people on here. All kinds of gung-ho and getting mad at sarcastic responses but shit after awhile, that's all you can do to keep from banging your head against a wall. People have to be honest to truly help someone. Wasting money sucks, but it happens! Once we learn, we go "shit that sucks, ok, where am I headed". There's only so much hand holding before people get burned out and start getting annoyed. Facebook audio groups are so bad it's to the point that the only FB audio friends I follow are bigjon and Aaron. As someone that works in the industry, audio terrified me. Shops are selling supertweeters and "pro-audio" all day long and then they come to my shop to try and "troubleshoot" the install for better "SQ and SPL" All I can do is try to educate. Don't let Sean bum you out. He's honest, and he's fucking smart. Is he too much sometimes? Yea but generally smart people don't do well with people skills. Oh well. I've spent a lot of time chatting with Brad and Sean. They let me pick their brains all the time and never complain. The thirst for knowledge is never a problem here, the assumption of knowledge and desperation for acceptance and praise is a problem.

  4. No 70% is ~45mm Goddamn bottom of coil to the next plate is 37.5MM then another 7.5MM until its only 70 percent saturated. This of course doesn't account for stray flux which only adds to the xmax. This is why Sanchez was able to play it on little power. The coil stays nearly saturated for nearly the whole usable stroke of the suspension.

  7. I work in the car audio industry, and I have to say, Aaron did EXACTLY what he could to rectify the situation. People have been driven by electrical devices for so long that they assume a machine is customer service. The machine says I have 3 dash kits in stock, but I had no way of knowing that last month someone stole one. I apoogize and try to fix it. That's customer service. Human beings make errors. It's life. If you were at McDonald's and they ran out of Sprite, would you hop on the internet and piss and moan about the worst service you've ever had in your life? I think not. Grow up. This just solidifies my faith in a fantastic company with outstanding customer service. You should have thanked Aaron, and moved on. Don't be a dick. My love for car audio dies more and more each day because of a generation of spoiled bastards with no regard with how the real world works. What the hell happened?

  9. Hey now. I'm Canadian and have never left a rant like this over a simple error. Especially one that was refunded. This is just brutal. Everyone makes mistakes, they offered the closest alternative at a lesser cost. In the end a refund was given. Sounds good to me.
  10. If you're in a hurry for your build, go get some wire locally. I live in another country, and all I can say is that I love to buy from the ssa store. I trust them 100%. This guy must be a young Canadian boy. First time buying online or what ?!!! I thought Canadians were cool guys !!!

  12. What a horrible thing to say after Aaron had the best business ethics and correspondence with you. SSA is the BOMB!!! No one can beat em' TRUST THIS! This thread will not affect anyones decision to stay loyal to this Awesome company or change their decision to shop here!
  13. Wow. I apoligized for the stocking mix up, offered a quick soluition, and when rejected we refunded your order instantly. But thank you for the nasty post and changing my email wording to make us look bad. Oh, don't forget you're asking to have SSA reward points given back to you as cash. Again, I am sorry there was a stocking mistake, but we tried to instantly correct it and refunded you right away when asked. BUT I WILL NOT sit here and have someone change what I said to hurt my business. You can run and tell your friends that you got great customer service despite the stocking issue. You were not wronged, it was a simple mistake on communication between us and XS Power. We apologized, tried to correct the issue instantly, sumbitted refund asap, and this is how you act. I will gladly warm other vendors of you if I need to.
  14. Some customers aren't worth having at the end of the day. If not having your wire upset you then that's just petty. Tell them no thanks on the other wire and ask for a refund simple as that, no need to make a thread showing your ignorance.

  16. I've never had any bad customer service from SSA. Like other people said...shit happens. There was a mistake and they tried to offer you something else that you could use instead of waiting. And no matter where else you go the company would offer you something else too. I say give them another shot. I know it sucks not to get what you wanted but SSA is top notch IMO.

I have a 2002 Cavalier that I want to buy an alternator and battery for to support a BC3500, whose should I look at?
  24. More than half the threads that pop up on forums of blown drivers end up being DD-1 installs. That being said the ONLY thing that can blow a driver is a user, but it surely shows what misinformation and being misled can do. Profiting from that is terrible.

  29. So on march 11th i purchased 20ft of ofc xs flex 0 gauge since thats all what i needed for my install to be completed.. In a coupke days my order status changed to ' awaiting shipment ' nd i patiently waiting until march 24 when it still had the same status.. I emailed support nd they reply telling me that ' we apologize for the mix up, but when you ordered it was in stock but went out of stock so were not able to ship it. Instead would you like the CCA xs power wire and the difference refunded? ' lol... Like are they serious? What kind of bs is that and then offering me to purchase something different rather then what i ordered? Oh well this is my last time ever giving business to this company. Will let all my friends know also. Thank you for wasting time!
